Furkan,I don't know where you are in your search, but if you haven't already been born again,I want to tell you that your headed in the right direction when you seek the truth, like in the Bible and these type of videos. Jesus is the same for all of us. Because Jesus died for you and me ( by shedding His blood to sacrifice for our sin) He made an opening for us to God. Our sin debt is completely paid, but applying that scarifce is a personal choice between you and Jesus. It's through a simple prayer of faith to Jesus. That you want to be saved and forgiven. You can talk to Jesus in your own words and you can explain your search to Him, and He will be right there to guide you. I hope you receive this message. God bless you.

Im in the EXACT same situation! Im 17 and have been in the church my whole life and I feel like a baby Christian and have never really known what the Bible is and I feel like everything ive been told about the Bible is incorrect and shallow. The Bible project has been helping me so so much!

Never stop what you are doing, God use you to talk to people. I decided to start a string of Bible studies, and yesterday I bought a notebook to take notes. So today, I took the notebook, and I was here, just wondering where I was supposed to start, and IN THE EXACTLY MOMENT I received a notification with this video. Rafaella Marques I believe you, during the election I would talk to my dad about it, and he said if only I read and talked about the bible as much as i do about politics, how better I would do, as soon as he said that, I put my headphones, and start listening to a radio show about politics, within the first two minutes, the host said the same thing, how he was tired of talking about the election everyday and said the same thing about God.

I absolutely LOVE the way you guys explain things! I've been a Christian 40 years so this stuff is kinda basic, but I'm still learning important things here; also, how to simplify things for my dad. Time is getting tight for him, and though I've been sharing with him the entire time I've been saved, I have been rethinking my approach. I love the meaty simplicity of your explanations. Actually, I think Jesus' skin tone IS part of the message of the video. Because so often Christianity is seen as a western, european religion, which is not true. And it can be hard for people to accept it if they've been exploited by white people in the past. But Jesus is for all of us.

i just finished all of the books of the bible videos in order. im so thankful that you guys made these. im planning on reading the bible all the way through. so im glad i watched your videos first so i will understand it better. but now im watching the theme videos. I had all the bits and pieces of general idea of the bible and Jesus but I was never able process it or put it in order so simply. So I was always confused about the whole thing, always going to church hoping that one day I would catch onto something and put it together for myself and my salvation. And so finally the church of Christ gets together to address this issue (thank you guys!!) in a way that doesn't make it difficult to grasp. I hope one day the church of Christ gets together to teach it's lost members and unbelievers the fundamentals that everyone should know. And I hope we can also get together to grow the church further and beyond without losing anyone in the process.
I can't begin to explain how much it means to me as a lover of Jesus to see Him and others around Him depicted in a more realistic way. Not everyone will understand that, but... Thank you.

Guys Jesus is not about skin colour! He only came to save the gentiles and the Jewish. Plus nobody really knows what skin colour he really is. Dylan, were u born 2000 years ago? Also he was probably not white white with blond hair and blue eyes but probably rather with a different skin maybe a brown tone or something the artists were the people who started to image Jesus as blue eyed white messiah. If you’re talking about Him resting on the 7th day, He didn’t need to rest because He was tired. He just wanted to sit back and admire His creation

I had all the bits and pieces of general idea of the bible and Jesus but I was never able process it or put it in order so simply. So I was always confused about the whole thing, always going to church hoping that one day I would catch onto something and put it together for myself and my salvation. And so finally the church of Christ gets together to address this issue (thank you guys!!) in a way that doesn't make it difficult to grasp. I hope one day the church of Christ gets together to teach it's lost members and unbelievers the fundamentals that everyone should know. And I hope we can also get together to grow the church further and beyond without losing anyone in the process.
I can't begin to explain how much it means to me as a lover of Jesus to see Him and others around Him depicted in a more realistic way. Not everyone will understand that, but... Thank you.

Idk why you guys moan about how white jesus was but people around Israel, Syria, Jordan are very white, not blonde white but their skin is white. Even Muslim immigrants are pretty white, just the same as meditarians.

Also he was probably not white white with blond hair and blue eyes but probably rather with a different skin maybe a brown tone or something the artists were the people who started to image Jesus as blue eyed white messiah.
