OLD SCHOOL CHICKEN 🍗 NOODLE 🍜 SOUP ( VERY FLAVORFUL HEALTHY RECIPE FOR ❄️)

- This is an awesome recipe for the winter and if you are not feeling good
very easy and healthy item
RECIPE:
4 chicken thighs( Cut in half)
8 oz frozen mixed vegetables( carrots.corn,green beans,peas)
3 quarts chicken stock
1 chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
2 tsp chopped garlic
12 oz egg noodles
salt and pepper to taste
season chicken and sear on both sides until brown
remove chicken from pot
add celery,onions and garlic
cook until soft
add chicken stock and chicken back to pot
simmer for 15-20 minutes
add noddles to pot and cook for 5 minutes or until noodles are cooked
add vegetables and cook for 5 minutes more
enjoy with crackers or crusty bread

I made this chicken noodle soup tonight and the family wants the recipe. It is soooooo good. Thanks old school for a great recipe. I will be trying more of your recipe. My mother at age 78 is drinking the broth which she call pot licking.

I use capon instead of chicken for soup and usually I boil it. Next time I will use this method and see where it takes me! I also boil gizzards and put those in my soup, love it!

Yes, Sir! Nothing like homemade chicken noodle soup, and yes, absolutely, bone in, skin on. Much better flavor that way. Bout the only thing better on these cold winter days is a big pot of ham hocks and beans, with cole slaw and corn bread.... damn, making myself hungry.

Instead of noodles and thighs I added chicken breast and spinach, but it still was so full of flavor!
