Good info but a suggestion going forward, I know you're just starting out but get a camera with some image stabilization...the shaking made it a bit hard to watch.
I too have a 21 Gladiator same plain end neg cable removed F42 10amp fuse . Now my ESS auto start works again without F42 and without ground cable Must be a ghost under my hood.
It's mainly because the auxiliary battery will go bad and there wont be signs untill it kills off your main, it's a small motorcycle battery they say its for assisting the auto stop start.
@@mudslinger704 ah makes sense! Wierd they figured it need help with the stop start given the Cherokees etc don't use that with the same basic motor and stop start system

You still need a tazer. This only bypass the ess battery
