Always loved AD2. I also use EZD3 and I’ve used Superior Drummer. EZD3 remains my primary drum plugin because of all the groove editing functions but I very much prefer the mixer section in AD2 and sometimes I just prefer the sounds in AD2. Wish I could combine them, or easily send EZD3 midi into AD2.
EZD’s grooves and song creator look great for getting drum parts down. Just an idea but if you had both EZD and AD2 you could create the drum parts in EZD, then copy the track, and switch the virtual instrument to AD2 for the drum sounds. You would need to make a custom midi map to match the midi mapping between both applications to make this work. It’s an expensive workaround…. I picked AD2 for the sounds, but EZD has really nice options with the midi grooves and song creator.
Does the older projects open without any issues...? As they should, but just to confirm...!
So far so good. I’ll reply if I find any issues.

@@After-AudioAdditive drums has a midi settings for superior drummer and EZD midi
Even better! XLN Audio did the work for us. Thanks for the tip.
bad news is still cannot import our own samples
I agree. It would be nice to have the option of importing custom samples especially when they can be triggered by the midi beats and fills.
