Guys, just look at those blue tinted photochromic side mirrors in GT7 model just like the real car. It was actually a feature to prevent eye fatigue. Polyphony is on league of their own. Mad mad respect for such tiny details that probably most people dont even notice

@@portalhead95 as someone who owns a W124 from the same period as the W201 190E, this is a tidbit I also missed but as I seen it now because of you, it makes me appreciate GT even more and cringe at FM even more
@@faldypradana1839 GT7 is full of these tiny details. This passion, Love and respect they show, those details wont make the game to sell more copies or anything. GT7 is not about being fancy with over exaggerated rain effects and unrealistic but cool! Reflection. It’s simply a love letter for Car enthusiasts. No matter if its a million dollar hyper car, an EV or a cheap hatchback. They all get the same level of care to being recreated. BTW you got such a fantastic car❤️
Crazy that GT7 looks some much better, offers 120hz, and a next gen VR experience.
It’s sad when you can tell the difference in visuals in a game simply by looking at the thumbnail lol
Are Turn 10 allergic to making good car models?
I came to the conclusion that it might be because it’s not just for console but also for pc (including weak ones) and because they are using 3d trees….even at forests where those trees can’t be seen…and the side track celebration smokes etc etc…maybe they did too much for the tracks that they forgot about the cars so they used old models…god will Nurburgring even make it to the game if they are planning to use 3d trees? Or worse will Nurburgring have less trees just to run it?…anyway got sidetracked, it’s like mobile games where if you want a successful game on mobile you must make the game playable on as many phones possible including the weaker ones. If Microsoft decided to make it Xbox only and provide more time…then maybe, just maybe they could use better car models. But even if it happens series s is a thing and it would hold it back. (Also the reason why its 60 fps limit is on pc is because the higher the frame rate the slower the timer goes)

I have an 190 Mercedes and i can tell everybody here that every milimeter in the cockpit is the same, from mirrors and the clocks in the dashboard. They even managed to replicate the small details on the dash itselfs and the vent holes are 1:1 😮 . Absolutely perfection from PD
I’m tellin’ ya, after watching the GT7 replays and paying close attention to the car models in the game I am amazed by how lifelike and beautiful the graphics are. Forza on the other hand, well, let’s just say they weren’t trying to make it a realistic car game.
The amount of detail on the cars in GT7 are just in a league on their own...
I've never payed Gran Turismo, because I don't have ps5, and damn I feel cheated. Forza hasn't made a great game since Horizon 2...😢

Car reflections in GT7 look very beautiful. At the moment Forza Motorsport is my favorite racing game. somehow I like the driving experience better. But GT 7 is also a great game and replays Looks much better.

Clean sound for GT7, it feels like an actual car, and while it may not be instantly pleasing like the one in FM (cause of its mixing) its definitely better overall and especially for long term playing as its not an annoying badly synthesized mono sound like the one in FM.

sound is better at FM, but the car models..... who the hell at T10 is responsible for modeling the 190E? looks like if someone tried to describe a 190E by the phone with bad reception

that's certainly what happened in 2010 when they were making it for FM3

GT7 is definitely better. Also, the camera angle on Forza is weird, too wide angle (probably to get more sense of speed), car looks "stretched".
It has adjustable FOV, so that depends on the setting the player chose
Give it a year when forza has had as many updates as gran turismo has then we’ll see.
When you have a main competitor you go against but you can only have a little number of high detail models, you can at least focus on the ones your competitor has made in HD...
Otherwise this comparison happens and you look like PS3 game.

Grab turismo looks like a retro game where the track goes past the car. Forza looks like the car is going round the Track. No real sense of speed in gran turismo either.

This track has dynamic time of day and weather in GT7 so that excuse wont work here.
@@neomaxmlc not an excuse, it's just closer comparison. Afternoon in GT7 has lots of shadow, low light and can see more detail. I'm Forza it's very bright. 1900 is close to GT7 lighting. I compared myself on my TV. Got lighting it's closer comparison.

I don't see the point of this comparison, isn't the behaviour of the cars and physics the most important. I have both games and forza is definitely my favorite when it comes to pure racing.
I played GT7 for a few hrs today, it's like I'm driving a brick around the track. Fired up FM played for a few hrs also and the cars just feel much better to drive.

That's because you prefer Forza
Seeing it being inferior to GT in aesthetics will make you question why this comparison even needed.
Some people want a good looking product more than anything else.
If i wanted a good Forza without looking at the graphics, I'd play Forza 4
@sureyeah3678 it pains me that Turn 10 really peaked with Motorsport 4 in 2011 and hasn't even come close to matching that polish and quality since
For people that want more than just physics and want to be immersed in the experience, graphics (more importantly the interior model if you drive in cockpit) and sound are incredibly important. The FM8 car sounds like it's bass boosted to hell and back, completely unmuffled. Don't get me wrong, the racing experience is probably great in Forza. But I can't just "get into it" and enjoy on my wheel in cockpit cam when the interior looks like it was taken straight out of FM2.

I don't actually agree. I get some mobile game vibes there. Very generic. This guy has a very low veichel sound on too in the settings for GT7. You can boost that up!

..have you driven a real car like ever? Gt7 has really good physics. Not Assetto Corsa good but MILES ahead of forza
