I feel angry with those who defend FM8, the game is the weakest in the franchise, everything is recycled, with a lack of content and mid graphics, the tracks have details that doesn't actually exist, the cars still have old models, Forza still doesn't have 3d motion blur on the wheels, they made trailers and marketing as if Forza was incredible and they simply delivered something extremely below expected...I never played GT7, I always played Forza, but I can see how GT7 is better crafted

Lol. True. Just a few weeks ago on UA-cam someone kept harping on about Forza's trees were of better quality than GT's. In Forza can you sit in the tree, customize it, paint it, tune it? Yet that's what's important to some people. The cars the star in both games and car dimensions, visible engines, headlight details and paint colours are better and more accurate in GT7. Another funny one is how people keep going on about Forza's chase cam is better! The worst, most unusable, camera view in racing games is better in Forza like that is a dealbeaker? GT's interior cockpit view is much better and in VR mode it is at a completely different level entirely. What next? Forza has a prettier load screen and that somehow makes it a better game?!

In particular with this type of cars i feel Forza Motorsport having more enjoyable physics, sometimes the GT7 feels really grippy and is not too realistic.

The grip really depends on your setup, you can always set handycap for yourself. Example I always use RH to make it more challenging if I will play with sophy or bot.. except on online race though

@@trolski1618 GT7 tracks are also often not laser-scanned so I don't see the point. Sure FM could have even more tracks, but at least they are adding real tracks and cars instead of invented tracks like GT. Many of the real racing cars in GT7 are just fictional and the others being added are road cars we have FH5 for.

True, played Gt7 on a friend's and the Evo 4 handles close to the real thing, in Forza it understeers more.
Evo 3 doesn't have Ayc yet though.

Forza Motorsport(2023) is like Forza Motorsport(2005) with additional cars and HQ Graphics. I can confidently say this because I do still play the 2005 FMS on my OG Xbox.

I have a 3080 and played at 4K and it didn't look as good as GT7. Not even performance wise, also maxxed graphics at menus didn't match GT7 menus/showroom.
But yeah, each game has its strengths and I really wanted Forza to be much better at features and PC Performance...

You mean the sun gleaming off the paint? Have you been outside at a track in the hot sun? My last visit to a track was last year at COTA for the F1 race. They had a Porsche cup race and I was getting blind from the sun reflections half a football field away from the track.

GT is like an expensive fountain pen that not everyone is comfortable with, forza is like a normal and common pen. The GT is a winner in every way: camera view tracking, car interaction in the corners of race track, real and lifelike sound under the hood in open area of track! Now look at Forza: unreal graphics full of shaders and blurs, exaggerated and unreal car sounds to attract players! Forza is just a fun game not a racing simulator, GT is still on top 🔥

GT7 caters to a mature audience, adult men, with class UI and menus, and well-chosen music, jazz and non-obvious genres. Its photorealistic visuals, correct lighting model appeals to those seeking realism. In contrast, FM8, leans heavily on exaggerated graphics and over-the-top visual effects.
I'm glad that even in today's snowflake world, Kaz and his team haven't given up on this style of creating their games.

Physics in gt7 looks very unrealistic in this video. Maybe its because of the shitty static chase cam.... Forza has the better chase cam and the physics looks much more dynamic. Okay, the driving skills here in both videos are not the best... Graphicsides Its hard to vote a winner. Both looks good.
GT7 is better in almost every way.
I have an RTX 4080S config on pc and FM8 look absolutely crazy with everything max out. The Series X was already obselete when it came out. The new Forza game engine can do much more than what you guys seeing on Xbox.
Plenty of videos show that it isn't a power thing. It's the inferiority of the car scans and rendering that the Forza engine has. You can pump all the bs detail you want but the model has to be scanned correctly or it isn't gonna look good. As of right now, Polyphony has the highest scans of vehicles in the industry. Manufacturers have used their CAD data to update their own scans. Back in the early days of GT5, ferrari used Polyphony's scans and engine for media event reveals. They've always been ahead of the game in that regard and I doubt they will ever be overcome unless Yamauchi-san passes away and GT truly becomes just a cash cow recycled mess like FM.
wtf is wrong with gt7 steering wheel??? Graphics, for me, GT7 wins. Car sound and abs braking, GT7 wins. Gearshift, Forza wins. Rev limiter, GT7 destroys it.
This has to be one of the worst models added into FM. At 0:04 and 0:07 you can see they didn't bother to model anything behind the front wheel and it's blatantly obvious.

Crowds are there during races. GT7 even goes the extra mile and has real common places on the nurbergring lit with camps and camp fires. They aren't just randomly placed.
FMS looking so much better since launch. Forza for the win. Still give in game car models to gt7. It's close but the interiors what does it for me. Overall graphics with track detail and el dynamic nature of Forza, I'd give it to Forza. Now can we get the best of both worlds please!

Mira el que habla, las fisicas del forza estan super exageradas, el juego todavia esta en beta, los modelos de carros son reciclados, las modificaciones estan HORRIBLES. En cambio el gt7 tiene fisicas reales, las pistas son mas detalladas, los sonidos del carro no estan tan exagerados, las modificaciones son decentes pero no buenas, el juego es mas viejo que forza y totalmente se ve mejor en PS4. El GT7 es mejor, porfavor juega Gt7 y no te arrepentiras.

The trees are much more of a detail, and the trees actually follow your car. And it matters in a graphical sense. Forza has a better lighting engine does raytracing in game basically doing more things in game than gt7, and in most areas it looks better. Gt7 is a gen and a half game. A closer look at multiple things tells a story. In the rain, in photo mode on gt7 there is no rain. Where did it go? Could gt have what everyone was accusing forza of having? Fake rain effects? I think so. Go into photo mode in forza and you can see the rain droplets, they are actual graphical assets. None of the foliage moves in gt at all😅😅😅😅you have moving flags, but the foliage, proper ridge racer levels of detail. The surrounding track and environments adds to the atmosphere, for the most part gt is stale as fuck, and doesnt look as good as most of you make out and its showing.
The car model, the tires, the engine sound/sounds in general, all feel like theyre in a tottlay different league on GT7... GT7 sounds soo much more realistic when put directly against Forza.. Your brain goes "oh yea, thats what it actually sounds like in real life." GT7 has sound depth, almost like you can really notice the sound dampening/reverb of all the different materials and layers... This car in particular shows the difference big time imo.

GT7 wins almost every aspect, apart from brightness inside cockpit view. On a lot of the cas the dash and dials are difficult to see as they've made it too dark in the shadows. Such a shame as the effort they made in the detail is second to none. Apart from that minor issue, no other car racing game comes close in my opinion.

The cars are incredibly inaccurate, undetailed and ugly in Forza. The track is so-so but the lighting is again way more realistic in GT7. The Forza devs simply didn't care about actually upgrading the game for a new generation, this is still using Forza 5 assets from 2013. A laughable disgrace compared to GT7.

How many Suns does GT7 have ? Its on the right bumper, turns the corner goes to the roof and the moves to the right of roof and then down to the right bumper as car turns the corner. Which seems natural but then disappears and appears on the left side of the bumper as if track is on the Star Wars planet Naboo.

Nope. The GT model is missing the mudflap/side skirt bolts on both ends of the side skirts. Forza isn't. The window frames are supposed to be a black weather strip, not just the yellow window frame like in GT. They've added things that aren't there, like the safety print on the lights. This model of evo doesn't have them. And the dashboard in the GT model is not correct either.

Has ido a coger el coche que peor se veia en Forza, para ver si asi Gran Turismo gana jajajajajja Es ridiculo que compareis graficos, Forza es casi 2 años mas moderno, gana en sonido, en graficos y en conduccion, en lo unico que gana Gran Turismo es en el sistema de penalizacion online,. nada mas... y lo dice un fan de Gran Turismo, que su primer juego fue el GT1 de PS1 pero no hay que ser fanatico y negar la realidad haciendo videos ridiculos intentando comparar tecnologia de hace 2 años con otra actual.

This is why the MGTV channel had to opt in actual single race mode in GT7 because this video we're in is actually a time trial mode.
Everything on the track except some spectators are empty in that mode. Compare it with actual race where the track is lively.
Most of the stands are empty all year long, except for F1 and MotoGP, so GT7 adds realism with that. Forza looks arcade
