@@joescivicyea no. When it comes to matte paint. They don't glare at all like GT. I have a Flat stealth grey car and Its real matte. Not a wrap. And it does not even show glare. And that's CLEAN matte. If matte starts to glare or shine then it's Sattin... demons do not have sattin. It's matte so granturismo is unlikely to correct it.
Also forza is sort of realistic with the glare on SOME parts. I got a very shiny car myself.

Forza missed the mark on the sound. The most dominating sound on the interior is the supercharger whine.
Only when under load, at idle in neutral you can barely hear it.

after all the bragging and hoopla from the Forza camp about how good FM looks…I just don’t see it. The FM treatment looks so artificial. And the way the cars move on track is like they are hovercrafts. Icing on the cake are the arcade like exhaust flames, they crack me up at how unrealistic they are. How GT7 handles exhaust flames…chef’s kiss. I can really really appreciate what PD has done with GT7 when directly compared.
Yea i was wondering about those flames also, stock vehicles don't do that lol unless it's tuned for that from the factory, i keep wondering if theyre using tuned vehicles in these videos.... but yea, it's IS hilarious.
@@adrianhosein7698 well it’s not that. It’s how the flames look. It looks artificial AF and the same over and over in FM. GT7 really takes care with the small details like this…the flames are so organic looking and realistic in comparison.

The supercharger whine is there...the lighting is as real life. The sound is clear and you hear not only the car but the ambience around you...GT is amazing as ever.

Having tried it in real life, the engine sound is more realistic on Forza
Gt7 is the best and nothing compares to playing in VR (obviously not shown here) but the interior details and sound in VR is incredible!
Don't even have a play station, and own fm7, i can tell gt7 is superior just by seeing them.

They told people they were selling a race game based on irl motorsports with sim/like physics and gameplay.
If they were just honest and said this was an arcade game based on irl motorsport that is meant to be a fun game not be taken serious, they would have way less people trashing the game.
Gt7 is as close to sim as you can get while still maintaining some arcadish elements so lots of people can enjoy.
Also gt7 is sooooooooooooooo much better on a wheel.

@@Christophe.P gt7 sound is more accurate witch was what i was saying the demon has loud supercharger whine witch you can barely hear in forza, fm has by far the worst sounds in forza motorsport to date, and not to mention shifting witch is terrible slow in fm campared to the real thing, gt7 wins this camparsion hands down

Gimmicks and marketing hoopla loke they have for 10 years straight.
Those little backfires in Forza are comically bad. They last too many frames and their low velocity makes them look like a Adobe Premiere effect. Just embarrassing. They look like farts through a thermal camera. Everything in Forza is such a gimmick. I remember trying the latest Horizon for the brief time I had a Series X and literally laughing out loud at how much the windshield wipers shook in the wind. It was so overdone and gimmicky, like the way the avatar dramatically slaps the upshift paddle. GT7, while it has its faults, at least feels like actual car guys made it. Forza is almost patronizing at this point.

Well Forza looks good to man, but GT7 just looks better, it has much better color & the vehicles has better detail, & love how GT7 has license plates on all their vehicles, it just adds to the detail of all the cars. Plus I'm a playstation 5 owner so that's where im playing anyways.

FM’s Demon did not sound like the real thing, it lacks depth and its supercharger sounds wrong too. They need to re-record its sound from the car itself.

as a major Forza Motorsport player, I'm utterly disappointed with the current Forza and not holding my breath for an update on visual/audio on all other cars as its as broken as the first time GT7 was initially released. Sure, it'll take a year to get it all fixed up but really, I have other games to play and got little time for it.
would I give credit to GT7? In its initial state, definite no, but in its current state after a year of fixes, updates and patches, I'll say yes and may get a PS5 this holiday season (if I have the space for it).
easiest way to explain FM is that it's generic in almost every possible comparison. How this game took 6 years to make is beyond me

I use to work at a CDJR dealer and drove a lot of hellcats and 2 demons. Neither games are even close. Shows me neither studio has stepped foot in one.
During the race it sounds better in GT-7, i don't know why but in Forza it always sounds like they had the microphone up to the muffler and it's clipping lol GT-7 again looks better.
I've noticed that clipping/distortion noise literally ever since Forza 5. I mix a lot so I'm really particular with sounds. They haven't gotten it right since.😢

It's so weird, FM7 and GT7 were basically like two sides of the same coin, then FM8 came along and went backwards... I actually went back and forth between FM7 and FM8 and it was shocking how much better the older game looked.
@@TheFishE77Official When a game is aiming for realism, how good it looks is determined by how physically correct the image is, not how nice you think it looks. FM8 throat fucks FM7 _to death_ visually. It's basically a full generational leap in rendering fidelity. Of course, you would actually have to understand 3D graphics rendering to understand how and why, and how it translates on-screen.

I play both, as much as I wanted FM to succeed, in my opinion, I think GT7 has better looking car models. I do like the Forza sound over GT7 however

GT7 wasn’t designed to be raced in chase cam like Forza was.
T10 should just give up and fold they were looking to be the main competitor of gran turismo way back when they started out making forza look more graphicly appealing then gt games at first but gt already had its good physics and enormous carlist and even with a generation gap in consoles between gt6 and fm7 forza couldnt win ...
But seeing the result of better graphics had on the forza fans it made PD step up its game Kazanori went all out on that shit and actually rebuild a game from the ground again up and thats what you see today the most beautifull simcade racer in the world with car models so precise you could fool people in fotomode it was the real thing

Forza Motorsport wins here IMO. Another great video. It comes down to lighting and the type of sunlight. In this case FM wins but ive seen GT previously win. They are closely tied.
