It’s a black college aged girl with braided hair… bouncers won’t let her in party, she starts saying they’re doing cocaine in there and it’s “weird” they let white people in….sticks her arms out “arrest me” but immediately regrets…. I honestly understand why christian wouldn't leave her even after her constant abuse. Ive had girlfriends like that before, one of them even tried to poison me with bleach by saying it was vodka. Its hard asf, because you want something to happen so the relationship ends permanently, but its hard to leave cuz you're so in love with ur partner u feel like u would die without her. The worst part is even if something happens they usually come back and you can't reject them, because u feel so bad and in love. Also a lot of the time they have mental health issues and you feel like u need to take care of them and save them. You just end up looking past all their flaws and craziness, and only see the good parts. Its like an addiction. The only reason why im not even with the gf that tried poisoning me with bleach was because she ended up ODing a month later, cuz she was addicted to fentanyl and meth, due to her rough childhood and borderline personality disorder. Her mom would also do drugs with her. And honestly even now, if she were to somehow come back to life id jump back to her the first chance i got, even tho i know how unstable and toxic that relationship was. Shit sucks man i wish relationships were easy and not crazy

    • @DrakeOola
      @DrakeOola Місяць тому

      Yep, it's pretty easy to beat someone up if they're not fighting back and men are taught from birth to never hit a woman no matter what, like no shit you'd get injured if you're not defending yourself. You'd get beat up by a freaking ant if you restrained yourself from ever laying a finger on it. Is this some of that male privilege I always hear about, getting laughed at for being a victim? Or how about the male privilege of actually being held accountable for our actions because a man is 100% going to jail if he's ever caught laying a hand on a girl meanwhile girls will rarely ever even get so much as a slap on the wrist even with video evidence as proof. 🙄

      Also you know the next time they interact she’s going to blame him for this experience. You have to put yourself in the mind of an abusive person. He was trying to not involve himself in the situation. How many times in an abusive relationship have we used “you’re in public, do you want someone to call the cops? as first line guard against more punches/, chokes,/tackles. That guy knows the cops aren’t going to do anything positive about the mess he’s living in. He knows she’s unstable, this is his daily experience. There’s nothing more demoralizing than being harmed by someone who you have no desire to fight. Especially as a man, not retaliating against a physically weaker woman even though it’s the morally right way, can be weaponized by an abuser.

      The cop definitely didn't handle the situation good. No matter if the guy was ashamed, scared (even tho he would've been hiding it pretty well) or just it's a dysfunctional relationship where he doesn't think what his gf did is big deal, in the end he is still a victim and the cop shouldn't have threatening a victim with jail and treat him like he's the criminal because that's not help or going to make him want to talk and only shut him more and make him more defensive. Forcing a victim to confess when clearly not ready is just going to make things worse. Sometimes people don't realize at the moment that they're the victim. He could've at least gently try to convince him and earn his trust/make him more comfortable to open up by saying that this behavior is not going to stop and it may only become worse and feel more trapped with time until one day it may be too late, tell him he's not alone and there is nothing to be ashamed of by telling his story or something like that. It doesn't mean it would've worked but it definitely was going to be better than forcing him with jail.

      She was drunk at the time and probably thought it would be a good idea to record it so that she could enjoy watching him suffer all over again.
      I would bet good money that if the exact same crime happened but it was a woman inside the suitcase and a man recording it while mocking her, the sentence would probably be life without the possibility of parole. But since it was a woman, she was sentenced to just 16 years. She’ll probably be released in 10-12.

    Here is part of an article from when it happened in 2017. A Bristol, Tennessee police officer is out of a job after speaking his mind on camera about a controversial department policy and Sen. Jon Lundberg (R), District 4, told WJHL he shoulders some of the burden.
    “I’m not responsible, but I’m involved and I feel badly,” Lundberg said. “I feel really badly.”
    Sen. Lundberg says he regrets calling the police chief after Phil Kiersnowski pulled over his daughter last month. The officer ticketed Sam Lundberg for a window tint violation, but during the traffic stop criticized the police department’s window tinting enforcement and urged Lundberg to get her father involved.

    I agree the beep is interesting, but with the tint card in plain view beside the tinted window, it seems to me, the previous officer that did the first check may have been the one to play favors. The tint is obviously darker than the card. From what I gather this is not a fireable offense. From my point of view there is a hint of him suggesting to the driver to make a phone call to use her influence to deal with window tinting issues. Not necessarily to get her out of trouble. As I am getting more life experience, I can understand why automobile window tinting is an issue of safety. Not only for the driver's who's vision can be more difficult while driving after nightfall for the safety of all.
