The cops had absolutely no proof for the charge she was arrested for. The camera that the arrest was predicated on and that supposedly buttressed the witness statements, never showed her shoplifting. The witnesses have zero proof that she even concealed it. She will be booked and the lawyer will have her out in hours. In court, the lawyer SHOULD shred the witnesses, loss prevention, and cops on the grounds that none of them had any proof that she actually left the store with any merchandise. The burden of proof is on the accuser, and the state here has no case and the only reason for the arrest is that it "seemed" suspicious. She should sue the store for public defamation and emotional damages.
The thing that’s blowing me is that they said they don’t put security sensors on a $500 bottle of cologne like huh????
