They really do gloss over just how loyal everyone who didn’t plead Not Guilty by virtue of Imperius Curse was to Voldemort. It really does take a different kind of unflinching will to look down the barrel of demons/undead that can literally drain every last drop of joy and happiness from every waking and sleeping moment and say “I knew what I signed up for, come Hell or high water.”
Now that I think about it, this kind of video would fit super well with Palpatine from Star Wars, I am surprised it hasn’t even come up as an option in a pool knowing how big Star Wars is
@@Nomsynho I mean, you could always break it into parts, and there is the fact that someone else pointed out that Palpatine does electrocute himself at the end of each trilogy. So maybe three videos for the trilogies, a video for clone wars, and a video for rebels
Like FR, I know Rowling tries to portray him as some calculated and unstoppable monster but really she just puts the JK(Just Kidding) in Harry Potter. It largely feels like it's less about how strong Voldemort is but how stupid and arrogant the Wizarding world is
Hey, Love the POV videos, but i have one suggestion. just using the colour outlines can be a little confusing when trying to differentiate who is speaking especially when you are switching back and forth rapidly between multiple characters, in the harry potter videos in particular it can get confusing when voldemort himself or the horcruxes are speaking. have you considered using some other visual identifier like a hat or change of clothes or something? either way, love the videos keep them coming!
Ah okay I thought changing the location would be fine, but yeah I'll avoid using the similar colours in future, but the idea was that Nagini and Voldemort should be largely the same except voice
@@Nomsynho The colours worked when it was basically just two characters having a dialogue, but here it was so many characters, inclufing Voldemort basically talking to parts of himself, that it got confusing.
Just found this channel by sheer chance and these POV videos have been a marvel. Revisiting familiar stories some of us have read or watched dozens of times but from the villain's point of view only enhances the absurdity of their defeats even more. Keep it up!
2:40 I mean, that ring is a family ring. It's basically symbolic of his direct bloodline tie to Salazar Slytherin The ring symbolizes his wizard blood (As opposed to his father's muggle blood) None of his Horcruxes are random (Maybe except for Nagini sort of, and Harry by accident, lol)
That's actually the entire joke mainly because I wanted the Slytherine horcrux to be jealous of the Gaunt family ring, but also that the stone is the stone of resurrections, which is like one of the three most powerful objects ever made..
@@Nomsynho I had to look up the Resurrection Stone because I was like "Didn't Dumbledore hide that in the Snitch?" I had no idea it was in Gaunt's ring, lol. But now that I'm thinking about the interactions between the Horcruxes, it's also interesting that Slytherin didn't even refer to Gaunt by name, just as "Ring" That is some major shade being thrown here
These are great man. Im definitely going to need a part 3, but much longer please! Like a good 35-45 min of your calmly voiced characters and whit. A video each for the remaining 2 books would be great!
So the plan is to do all of the remaining books individually then package them into one mega video afterwards that'll probably be the length of a full movie...
12:36 the reason he doesnt die instantly is because in the books, it wasnt avada kedavra but he died of falling through the veil. they kept the veil part in the movies but also made it avada kedavra which made it confusing.
Next part is gonna be hilarious. The Ring curses Dumbledore, so he has no more than a year to live. But then The Ring disappears from Voldemort's inner conversation. So naturally, Voldy decides to sit there doing nothing. Snape already agreed to kill Dumbledore, but no, let's give the job to Draco, who can do some funny attempts for a year. A little competition between him and The Ring's curse!
1:11: Voldemort knew Crouch Jr. though. He even went to his house to save him from his father together with Wormtail in Goblet of Fire because Voldi needed a better servant than Pettigrew. So why wouldn't he know one of his most loyal Death Eaters?

Voldemort "considering how incompetent the adults that we have are at fighting teenagers, maybe we could use this to are advantage..... Yes bring the boy"
As someone who has only read the books and seen the first movie, this is actually really interesting to see. Especially Sirius just...backing slowly into a ghost hallway thing? In the books he was blasted 10 meters back into a magic door that destroyed his body(if I remember correctly, it's been almost 10 years).
In the books he was hit with an unspecified spell and just kind of fell back into the veil. I'm guessing they changed it in the movies to make it more obvious he died, sort of like how they do pregnancy test commercials with women with huge bellies that obviously would know they're pregnant. I recommend the movies. I finished watching the last few only a couple years ago. It's interesting seeing how they adapted the story.
I really like these! It was a bit hard hearing what you're saying, though. Even with the volume up, your mic can't quite handle you being so close to it without reducing the quality.
AMAZING! Love these things, keep ’em coming❤️ Question: did you only include the whole “Voldy’s never heard of Barty Crouch Jr, his most competent follower” thing because you forgot him in your previous video? Also, I would appreciate it if you could give your characters name tags or something? It’s getting a smidge confusing.
3:24, Among the best aspects of this is Tom here shutting down the notion that Umbrage, despite being as cruel and sadistic as she is, is not as bad as he or his Death Eaters because she cares about order and rules while he endeavors to change the world to reflect his wishes. 0:40, Also, love the running gag of Tom not remembering any of his allies' names besides Severus.
I mean, she cares about rules in so far as they serve her agenda. They're a tool to manifest and empower her whims. Someone who truly cares about rules should be shown abiding rules they dislike, not enforcing ones they do.
@ , Pretty much, yeah. And unfortunately, the corrupt system in which she had station gave her the authority do use it how she saw fit. But again, Tom's aim was even higher than hers. He didn't want to be a person within the system dealing judgment on those beneath her, he wanted to be above the government, above even death itself, and he would exploit the corruption in that system to do it.
