he also isn’t letting her live her damn life, won’t let her date who she loves, won’t let her go to the college she wants to, doesn’t forgive her for the smallest things she did even after he did a lot worse shit! he was also a HORRIBLE boyfriend to rachel, she deserves better. lee is so toxic they both need to leave him
Elle: absolutely loses her mind over her boyfriend's friend and justifies cheating bc of it Also Elle: ugh my friend's girlfriend is so grumpy at me :( so dumb Like hypocrite much?
@@laisfrederick5470 i totally agree. If he just came clean about spending time with Chloe (instead of lying) I would've excuse it. But hiding it like it was something scandalous makes it scandalous.
I mean that's a bit reductive. It's pretty fair to be uncomfortable with your friend dating your brother who you don't have the best relationship with and it's fair to be upset that your friend is going to a different college after a lifetime of planning to go to the same one. He takes it a little far but his feelings and wants are just as valid as hers.
Why is nobody talking about the fact that Marco literally agreed to do the competition with Elle WITHOUT splitting the reward. Then put so much efforts into the choreography AND did not even get a thank you when they won...
an oroc The plot needed Elle to keep the money for Harvard but they did make Marco a bit of a simp or at least unrealistically nice but he definetly deserved half of the cash because Elle couldn't have won without him
@an oroc ever heard of a thing called grammar, could really help you out you know. Oh and by the way, just because marko was being a generally nice person to Elle, doesn’t make him simp.
Another thing I didn't understand is that Elle kissed Marco ON LIVE TV knowing she TOLD Noah about it and SHE still was surprised that Noah seen them kiss.
You guys know what confuses me? Elle says she can't afford college but she lives in a big house. Also how could Noah get into an Ivy League School? All he did was get into fights.
In movies I think I respect the decision to have a character cheating long term more than one kiss and done. If a character cheats long term, I feel like I could justifiably be mad at them, but like Dylan said (kinda) a simple kiss or emotionally cheating makes it harder for me to be mad at a character for doing it, which kinda justifies it. If that makes sense.
I KNOW RIGHT she spent so much dedication to that stupid ass dance competition and we never get to see her sit for a minute to study? We never see her showing signs of being smart at all? And the fact that what the colleges are asking from her is "wE wAnNa sEe wHo yOu aRe" and then gets accepted into Harvard with that diary note girl bye
they've probably watched trin lovell's vid about tkb1 [please watch it if you haven't done it yet] and added a bit of lgbt couples only to claim they are diverse + inclusive (also the girl with all the piercings on her face??? we can see her kissing another girl in a shot that lasted like a second if im not mistaken) / but really, we do not care at ALL about the couples like what was the purpose of showing them ??? they do not add anything to the story and are just here to make the movie longer [i am not saying that lgbt people should only appear to fill in a part of a plot, but really what was the intention in those scenes??? who even are these characters lmao]
Leonie THIS! I couldn’t get into his character or see him as an option for Elle cause we know NOTHING about him. He’s cute and plays the guitar....that’s it!
To be honest, I can't remember if Noah had any backstory either. All I remember about him from the first movie was that he played football, was extremely popular and good looking, and that he hooked up with a lot of the girls in the school. And that he was constantly aggressive and getting into fights. This movie didn't even explain why he decided to go to Harvard, what he was majoring in, what classes he was taking, what career he is interested in, etc. In my opinion, I just thought Elle wanted to date him in the first movie because he was really good looking. I didn't think he had that good of a personality or was that interesting. I'm actually not sure why they like each other. At least Marco and Elle had some things in common because they both like dancing, video games, etc. What do Elle and Noah even have in common and talk about?
except lara jean, who couldn’t get into stanford even though she is like the only one in this genre of characters that MIGHT have a chance of getting into a school like that
I had to pause and look it up she legit looks 30, I don't know how this shit passed back in 2007 when all highschool characters were like 28 but I didn't work for this movie
Rachel does not suspect her dude cheating on her, she's mad he physically does not spend enough time with her and forgets about her then Elle propositions to him to do smth else. Elle couldn't care less about spending time with her bf, it appears, because she already has a very close and time consuming friendship, and she takes long distance relationship pretty well, except she is afraid that he cheats
The thing I hated about Elle in this movie is how hypocritical she was. She literally flirted with Marco like the whole movie yet got mad at Noah for having a girl bsf.
But Noah never said she was his best friend also the way they were touching and kissing at the bar/restaurant, I would’ve been mad too. Her and Lee never do that shit
Sierra Alice She should have told him about being insecure. I know she kinda did but not really. She could have asked about the earring and meet up with him in person to talk through it. That’s what bothers me.
Nah Noah crossed too many boundaries with Chloe and Elle never got that close to Marco. Until she kissed him at the end ofc but that was after everything had happened
At least In Legally Blonde, they suggested that Elle (Wait, they actually have the same name, holy shit) was studying for hours on end and not doing any bullshit like the Elle in this movie does, which is all she really does, no implication that she's actually studying, all we see is her doing bullshit.
Y’all I’m applying this year as an international pray for me 🥰 lmaoo tho who even expects to get into Harvard?? She has no extracurriculars other than dance-
Those gay characters though... What relevance did they have to the story? They had like 3 scenes. It was obvious that they put them there to have "diversity" that it's not even funny. W t f You could have had them in the backgrounds, chilling, have them kiss at the kissing booth, or anything else. But you didn't have to put the camera on them, and create a weird plot that has no relevance to the story.
@@iiamromika if they wanted a gay character (for brownie points or whatever other reason) they could have made Chloe gay or something. The story wouldn’t be affected and it would be less upsetting than having a super random and unnecessary gay subplot for the sake of ‘diversity’.
At first, I thought their friendship was cute because they were attached to the hip and finishing each other's sentences, but after a good minute, it became so toxic
"The girls are simple creatures: they see shirtless man, they lose all strength. Everybody knows this" That line alone is funnier than this whole movie and the first one combined.
I actually feel bad for Rachel. You see in the first movie that she makes room for Elle to hang out with her and her BF. So she is fine that he has a close friend that he spends time with. The issue is that he constantly prioritizes Elle, even to the point of neglecting their relationship. All she’s asking for is some alone time and he repeatedly “forgets” about her. And instead of talking to Elle, he tries to play both sides. I wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with him anymore either.
Agree. With how much time he spends with Elle, while neglecting his gf, you'd expect this to be a movie where, at the end, he finally realizes he's been in love with her all along.
“That he’s faking his injury so he can spend time with his girlfriend. That’d be an interesting subplot” Dylan questing the entire movie 100% correctly
Sarah Rueda Exactly! And then let his gf go off on Elle twice making them both look stupid🤦🏾♀️🙄 And he also lied and manipulated Elle when he pretended to be hurt😒
*Things in this movie that pissed me off:* • _Elle not bothering to simply ask Noah if he cheated and instead spent the whole movie assuming he did and then kissed Marco and was STILL mad at Noah even though technically SHE'S the one who cheated and kinda never even apologized._ • _Marco trying to pick a fight with Noah on the football field as if Noah did something wrong. Like bruh, you kissed his girlfriend. Why are you trying to FIGHT HIM?_ • _Everyone disliking Rachel even though her actions were completely understandable in this movie. Her boyfriend legit wouldn't make time for her and put someone else above her basically every single time. That has to hurt. She didn't want Lee to cut all contact with Elle, she just wanted Lee to make more time for alone time with her. She was annoyed at Elle because Lee (stupid Lee) made it seem like him and Elle talked and then Elle didn't "listen" so Rachel was like ? But when she realized Lee lied, she was no longer annoyed with Elle (which she said when her and Elle talked!)._ • _Elle being all mopey and stupid about Noah being friends with another girl while she HERSELF is the female friend in Lee and Rachel's relationship.... hypocrite much?_ • _How shitty of a sibling Lee is. Like Elle cheated on your brother ON NATIONAL TV, but all you care about is the fact she applied to colleges on the East Coast. He literally gave 0 fucks about Elle cheating on Noah fr._ • _The fact that Elle was so jealous about Noah hanging out with Chloe while she legit spent so much time with Marco... a boy whose hotness she RAVED about to the entirety of her school._
her feelings are valid but i still felt kind of annoyed by her. i wish she would’ve talked to elle herself. instead of pushing it to the end of the movie. could’ve been solved so much quicker. maybe then we coulda got some scenes of elle talking to lee about her feelings towards noah and marco, or even talking to rachel. it would be nice to see elle confide in another girl instead of a guy who holds their little kid rules against her.
@@kaepiper Yeah Rachel could've talked to Elle and everything would've been fine between them quicker. But also, she did ask Lee to talk with Elle since they're best friends and he made it seem like he did talk to Elle and everything would be better so I understand why Rachel was still annoyed because it seemed like Elle knew cause STUPID LEE made a mess of everything for them. Jeez Lee annoyed the crap out of me.
Shay Singh girl, you said everything on my mind! I felt like I was the only one who noticed that Noah and lee didn’t even talk to each in this movie and they’re brothers! When lee was mad at Elle I thought he was mad because she cheated on his brother but instead it’s because she had the audacity to apply to a different college. And thank you for noticing how hypocritical Elle is! How can she complain about Chloe with Noah when she’s the “Chloe” in Lee and Rachel’s relationship?? How can she even complain about Noah with another girl when she gave a whole speech of what she’d like to do to Marco and then spent the ENTIRE movie with him.
ana k/ I feel like Elle would have made a big issue out of it. Just fri. The way her character behaves the whole movie I definitely see her not being understanding
The "It's always been you" quote has been used in SEVERAL movies/TV shows "It's always been him" - Bella to Jacob in one of the Twilight movies "It's always been you, Summer" - Seth to Summer in the OC "It's always been you" - Otis to Ruby in Sex Education "It's always been you, Rach" - Ross to Rachel in Friends "It's you. It's always been you" - Derek to Meredith in Grey's Anatomy I mean, it's so unoriginal and almost every TV/movie has it because it's "romantic".
Omg trueeeee 😂😂😂😂 Noah, lacked anger when he should have dumped her ass tbh His brother (Lmao I keep forgetting his name), is unreasonably mad cause she wants to go to another school Although I do understand why his girlfriend was mad lol but even she was mad at the wrong person.
Is no one talking about that this sequel is literally to all the boys sequel. Main girls boy is being a little sketchy so she starts thinking he's cheating and starts developing feelings for another boy who she ultimately kisses but then realizes boy 1 is actually "the one" and goes back to him and everything turns out to be a misunderstanding. The. Same. Movie.
But Dylan literally called the entire plot of these teen romance trilogies. To All the Boys, the book, had the EXACT plot Dylan described. First book: Peter and Lara got together. 2nd book: some random boy gets thrown in who has no chance and third book: Peter n Lara explore and deepen their relationship further. Like that's literally how it went down in a nutshell.
I love how objective Dylan's being though. Like he hates the movie but he's still praising things about it because he genuinely finds the cinematography good
"It's you.... It's always been you" that line is in twilight "its edward it's always been edward" and vampire diaries "its steffan... It's always gonna be steffan"
Elle: “It’s always been you.” Me: *Well obviously not since you kissed Marco two days ago.* I get so annoyed at how tv shows and romantic movies just easily dismiss cheating on someone like it isn’t a big deal or violation of trust.
It is even worse when people take fiction as an example for real life.... These days I think people in general have to separate fiction and real life. Not every movie is out there to teach something and being realistic.
@@shifa444 well maybe... but it is not the films duty to teach children stuff. The parents are. So the parents are failing if they dont teach their kids certain values.
Niki91-HR it’s literally impossible not to. films literally teach us so many things. films are powerful for educating-or indoctrinating-citizens. films influence society by changes in representations, challenging audience's morals and transforming viewers' opinions. they also help to shape and solidify a culture's beliefs. sometimes the influence is trivial, as in the case of fashion trends or figures of speech. also teenagers will imitate their favourite actor and actress to follow exactly their styles such as, dressing styles, hair style, character of the actor or actress act in the movie, language and so on. movies affect teenagers in their attitude so no films shouldn’t be romanticizing cheating.
@@shifa444 But it is still the job of the parents to make sure that their children learn that stuff. The movies dont have to. Especially if it is fiction. And teenagers have to learn to separate real life from fiction. Maybe I am just like that...that I never took movies serious and saw it just as pure entertainment.
What's funny to me is how mad and jealous she got with Chloe but then continued to do basically the same thing with marco. And marco deserves WAY better than Elle
1 month ago yeah but she thought that Noah was cheating because she found another girl’s item in HIS room, under his bed and the fact that Noah acted overly affectionate with another girl he wasn’t even best friends with for a long time, Led her to believe she was probably better off. They both assumed a lot about each other. While it is not ok, this is a movie based off young adults/teens. At that age most young people don’t think in a rational way like an adult would. It happens and that’s how people come to learn and understand relationships.
LMAO IKR i just watched the first commentary and he definitely stated that he hated him and i was very confused. but frankly i thought i liked lee too for some reason?? confused
I hate how easy they get into Harvard, the best Ivy league school, that people have to prepare their entire highschool career to get into. The schools bad boy who got into school fights like everyday, and then a girl who writes a letter about other people's best attributes, get accepted into Harvard like it's a community college.
Navya Thereja Kapoor i remember it having the school superior blaming the girl for getting sexually assaulted and then the movie letting the girl want to go out with the assaulter,,,,,not to mention the serious anger issues noah has
i watched this movie with a couple friends and the only characters we ended up liking or even really tolerating were marco and the basically background gay guys :,/
Agreed, I thought Marco was going to be like another Ladies man bad boy like Noah but he turned out to be the opposite. Really his thing was only that he was the new super hot kid and it was not wrong because he is lol. He was nice and respectful. Tbh Marco was one of the few characters I liked in the whole movie.
Joy Thomas yes that makes sense but we can’t forget this is a movie and all the hot guys have to fall for the “weird” “quirky” “not like another girls” girl, sadly this is how most movies are written. 🤷🏻♀️
The part that really confuses me is Elle always talking about her family not being rich, while they live in a beautiful home and she goes to a fancy high school in LA. Although, you could argue that the property you own and education level isn't always an accurate representation of your financial status. Either way, it doesn't fully add up
Adelya Blooms She got into Harvard without studying, she could also be a scholarship student that doesn’t study. Plus some people inherit nice houses or maybe at one point they could’ve easily paid for the rich people lifestyle but now that there’s only one parent it could be harder to make ends meet and they’re embarrassed. I don’t know why Elle didn’t just ask her 2nd mom that lives in a 40 million dollar mansion that happens to be both her boyfriend’s an best friend’s mom for help with tuition money.
Yeah, same as Dan in Gossip Girl going on about how poor he is, but he lives in a big apartment in Brooklyn, goes to a fancy private school and his dad owns an art gallery 🙄 like, they aren't live-in-a-mansion rich but they are incredibly privileged and unaware of it

Bridgid O'Connell there’s also the fact that we don’t know anything else about what she did to get into the school. The amount of work real people put into getting into these type of schools is crazy whereas she spent all her time being at the center of every drama in school and doing stupid arcade dances. But this movie is tryna tell us she got in because of a stupid cheesy essay?
I mean they had the arcade. Noah had obv his university and going out with his friends. The only one we didn't much about was the girlfriend. She was awful ngl.
Lee jokingly voting against when they asked if anyone was against the kissing booth is the same energy as people who think it’s funny to say “Not here” during attendance when their name is called
"The first movie was so successful, and all the actors are so much more committed to the cringe...and I don't like that confidence that they have." That was commentary gold.
No, Marco does *not* look just like Noah but ethnic. Honestly, in my opinion Marco (Taylor Zakhar-Perez) is much more handsome that her boyfriend, Noah. While Marco/Taylor is tall, he's 5 inches shorter than Noah, so he doesn't tower over Elle in a creepy way. Marco has a more angular face, beautiful eyes with intensely long eyelashes, darker curlier hair, and a brilliant smile. Oh, and he looks better shirtless, being more cut than Noah, while not over the top muscular.
Half the movie was about “is noah cheating on Elle???” and then elle cheats on him and they don’t even talk to solve things, she didn’t even apologize or explain herself 💀 it’s like nothing happened... okay
Right! This movie went in circles, AND they also didn’t make Noah address why he lied about going to the concert with Chloe. Still not healthy...even if you want them to be ‘friends’. Elle cheating wasn’t right, and Marco doesn’t seem to have resolve. Kissing Booth 3? They paid that Actor for a reason according to Dylan 😆. Also how the heck was Lee redeemed at the end?!

It makes more sense for Lee to be mad at her for hurting his brother. I know they weren't close in the first one, but that makes WAY more sense than the college thing. Especially if you play off the first movie where he was SURE his brother would cheat and use her, then let him be disappointed that SHE hurt him instead. Also, he's been blowing her off for weeks for his gf, so you could show him also contemplating going to the same college as his gf, while she contemplates joining his brother and show a scene near the end where they both go to confess to each other that they want to go elsewhere. Build up to this and have him be mad at her for the cheating.
idk if it’s just the movie style, but how do Jacob and Joey’s acting skills go from S tier in Euphoria and The Act, to so cringe that my body caves in on itself?
I think it’s actually the direction. there are scenes with set up and dialogue that’s,,, not the best,,, but still could be pretty realistic if the actors were just given better coaching for motivation and intent n stuff
@@ranaemusic it is the script and direction, you may have good actors but if you're story is bad the whole movie will be bad. The reason the ACT and Euphoria is good is because without the good actors the story is still good on its own while the kissing booth is not, and well a lot of actions and reasonings are incredible toxic for youths and are romantiized
It was the same thing with Twilight. Lots of great actors and actresses in that. But, the writing was crap, so everyone thought until recently that all of the people in the movie were shit at acting.

Let’s not forget the reason she does that contest is for the money for college. Yet she doesn’t get like a simple minimum wage job to help raise the money. And wastes all her money on visiting her boyfriend across the country and other dumb shit like the money going into the dance game. And I’m not even going to bring up that she’s already rich by going to a private school and living in Southern California in a huge house.
Fiona that’s true but doesn’t really matter. Yes he’s rich but she’s not poor. If she’s smart enough to get to an ivy league she’s also smart enough to apply for a scholarship, a Job, sell her old stuff that’s in her huge house... which she did not do any of that😂
I wasn't really hyped about the act because of TKB, but the moment I watched it I couldn't stop asking myself why she was so cringey here when she's this good on The Act?
And also, how is no one talking about how many illnesses and infections a kissing booth could pass to people. At least glee finally showed two people getting sick from mono, but how did the other girls not get it from Finn after Santana gave it to him.

@@JamesChessman you've completely missed the point. I am not homophobic. I think their effort was weak and uninspired. It's like they used a gay storyline just to try and be edgy or something. @@aspen_clouds You’re right that people are people, and I thought I was being nice about those guys. I think what’s funny is how awkward they were portrayed for no reason, lol.
LOL Lee blatantly lying to Rachel at the kissing booth, saying he never wants to make her feel less than the most important person in his life. Um, I don't doubt that he'd still drop her in an *instant* for Elle. Just run Rachel. Lee is too codependent on Elle to have any kind of stable relationship with anyone outside of her.
If I were Rachel I would of run for the hills ages ago... heck I wouldn’t of hit that in the first place😂😂 Nothing wrong with having a female best friend, but (like you said) his co dependence is a problem. In fact the moment I would of heard him say he’d dump me if his best friend asked him to, I’d have bailed. That was your first red flag honey..😅🚩

Well to be fair the relationship between Miles and Ollie is considered the best thing about this film due to not only it's wholesome as well as heartwarming too but compared to the dysfunctional junction of the three main characters who're unlikeable as well as overall toxic which is fans wished the film series focused on the relationship between those two boys than the relationship we're forced to watch play out despite the trio being unlikeable for different reasons.

Chloe is the Elle of Noah? Mmm interesting...Elle is the Rachel of Noah? Mmmmm
She got jealous because Noah gave her reason to get jealous by lie to her

@@laisfrederick5470 i totally agree. If he just came clean about spending time with Chloe (instead of lying) I would've excuse it. But hiding it like it was something scandalous makes it scandalous.

I mean that's a bit reductive. He takes it a little far but his feelings and wants are just as valid as hers.

Dylan: "I'm not even going to be mad if they kiss."
Also Dylan: "I hate when movies justify cheating!"
And the fact that what the colleges are asking from her is "wE wAnNa sEe wHo yOu aRe" and then gets accepted into Harvard with that diary note girl bye

I feel like the gay subplot is just here to be a more “diverse” movie, just to show us that the writers are not homophobic
PROBABLY. sorry caps. probably. if you're gonna add a gay couple then do it naturally
they've probably watched trin lovell's vid about tkb1 [please watch it if you haven't done it yet] and added a bit of lgbt couples only to claim they are diverse + inclusive (also the girl with all the piercings on her face??? we can see her kissing another girl in a shot that lasted like a second if im not mistaken) / but really, we do not care at ALL about the couples like what was the purpose of showing them ??? they do not add anything to the story and are just here to make the movie longer [i am not saying that lgbt people should only appear to fill in a part of a plot, but really what was the intention in those scenes??? who even are these characters lmao]

The fact that i'm 16 and THAT'S how we're portrayed.......

he's just there for eye candy ig which sucks

• _Marco trying to pick a fight with Noah on the football field as if Noah did something wrong. Like bruh, you kissed his girlfriend. Why are you trying to FIGHT HIM?_
• _Everyone disliking Rachel even though her actions were completely understandable in this movie. She was annoyed at Elle because Lee (stupid Lee) made it seem like him and Elle talked and then Elle didn't "listen" so Rachel was like ? But when she realized Lee lied, she was no longer annoyed with Elle (which she said when her and Elle talked!)._
• _Elle being all mopey and stupid about Noah being friends with another girl while she HERSELF is the female friend in Lee and Rachel's relationship.... hypocrite much?_
• _How shitty of a sibling Lee is. Like Elle cheated on your brother ON NATIONAL TV, but all you care about is the fact she applied to colleges on the East Coast. He literally gave 0 fucks about Elle cheating on Noah fr._

Joy Thomas yes that makes sense but we can’t forget this is a movie and all the hot guys have to fall for the “weird” “quirky” “not like another girls” girl, sadly this is how most movies are written. 🤷🏻♀️
@Joy Thomas He better take 25k out of that prize money lol
"She has a brother?!" My thoughts about this movie summed up nicely 😩
Maybe the mom had a great life insurance policy before she died 🤷🏻♀️
assyrianprincess that’s a good point
Yeah, same as Dan in Gossip Girl going on about how poor he is, but he lives in a big apartment in Brooklyn, goes to a fancy private school and his dad owns an art gallery 🙄 like, they aren't live-in-a-mansion rich but they are incredibly privileged and unaware of it
Wait till they find out what’s actually poor 💀
Do I watch the whole movie? Of course not.
Do I watch the commentary of Dylan? Hell yeah
Same, I only watched 15 min of the movie ajd I got bored
Regina Irigoyen same lmao- it was so bad
HAHAHA SAME I JUST SKIPPED TO THE END TO SEE WHO SHE PICKED
Right! I didn't even try to watch it. Waited for Dylan.
I don't watch bad movies I watch people torture themselves so I don't have to
i don’t wanna be there when dylan finds out that the kissing booth 3 was already filmed...
wait really? so why was jacob elordi being questioned about whether he’s coming back for a third one in interviews....
I want him to react to the teaser trailer
Vee B they filmed both movies already before coved
They filmed all 3 at the same time actually. They didn’t announce it until after 2 came out but it’s since been confirmed by producers, directors, and the main actors.
@@bethanydorarose4004 Nah I think they only filmed the last two at the same time because Joey talked about how it was hard to film the sequel with Jacob since he was her ex, but they were still together in the first one.

Noah Flynn: Probably didn't do well, gets into fights and gets into Harvard

one of the things that pissed me the most was the fact that lee was more mad about some stupid college applications that the fact that elle cheated on HIS BROTHER
Like i get they aren't close, and don't really have much empathy for each other, but then he is family after all, and a friend, who is also a great part of their family, cheats on him.....he should have called her out for that or at least said SMTHG however he is toxic as heck so, no expectations at all
honestly, everything that lee did in this movie was just meaningless and toxic
Elle: 'I wanna be Rachel's kindness, Noah's courage'
Harvard and Berkeley, the top colleges in the United States: 'Damn this hit me in the feels 😔😔'
*Accept*
Tbh, the boston woman she talked to litterally said she's more interested in who Elle is, than who they expect her to be. Soooooooooo.....
@@Starrrby I felt like it was so cliché tho. I know we didn't get to hear the whole thing so maybe it was better than I am picturing in my head, but the first part of the essay is suppose to be a hook and you want to read more. And it made me feel the opposite lol. My comment was suppose to be a joke so sorry if I seemed to be taking this part of the movie so seriously
Also Harvard and Berkley: Oh, we know who Rachel and Noah are. Who are they, again?
Bridgid O'Connell there’s also the fact that we don’t know anything else about what she did to get into the school. The amount of work real people put into getting into these type of schools is crazy whereas she spent all her time being at the center of every drama in school and doing stupid arcade dances. But this movie is tryna tell us she got in because of a stupid cheesy essay?
@@ZielonaPastela true tho 😂😂
The worst thing is that the characters don’t have any background (interests, hobbies, motivations), they only care about the plot.
Their interests we’re taken into the plot.
InezzenI Then what are elle and lee planning to do in the university? Nobody knows
That's what you consider to be the worst thing 😂
@@nnng9 oh i thought u meant interests as in hobbies. Dont mind me then🙃
I mean they had the arcade. Noah had obv his university and going out with his friends. The only one we didn't much about was the girlfriend. She was awful ngl.
Lee jokingly voting against when they asked if anyone was against the kissing booth is the same energy as people who think it’s funny to say “Not here” during attendance when their name is called
"The first movie was so successful, and all the actors are so much more committed to the cringe...and I don't like that confidence that they have."
That was commentary gold.
Elle getting into Harvard from her cheesy, generic essay is the biggest injustice of the film.
LITERALLY
Should’ve been rejected tbh
Also that whole “we want to know the real you thing” is such bs. They want something me that will give them money and make their school look good.
She really said “What, like it’s hard?”
Legally Blonde I just realized how big of a slap in the face that had to have been to Warner. He deserved it though.
at this point i don’t even watch the actual movie, just Dylan’s commentary 😂
Same here! 😂
😂😂😂Same
Same lmao
Right?
It's wayyyy more entertaining
Is it just me or does Marco look just like the boyfriend but ethnic? Like same jawline and nose just ethnic...? Its freaking me out
omg I can't unsee it LMAO 😂😂😂
He does
I couldn't get over this when the movie first came out!! Like was this supposed to be intentional or were we supposed to not notice?!
We now know the casting director has a type.
@@itsagabbfest he said that he lied cause he didn't want her to think he's cheating on her though (something along those lines)
Which I thought was really stupid and made no sense but ok
And she told marco she had feelings for him and when Noah asked if she did she lied to his face againnnn 😖😖😖

Movie 1: Noah was the worst . 2 : Elle is the worst
But Lee mastered by being the worst in both movies
wait Noah was the worst in that movie???? I feel like Lee did much more toxic shit than Noah did, idk
@@DeeFightingDreamer both them sucked, Noah was just a little bit worse because while they were both controling,Noah treatened other guys to not date Elle

lol so true!
The friendship between her and Lee was kinda toxic ngl, like you can't do shit without your best friend? You can't change your mind about your college? You can't do nothing without telling your best friend? Kinda controlling
Lee’s the worst in both movies. How does he even have friends?
I feel like it’s because they made all these decisions when they were little and they made a promise and they want to be like there moms
@@anniegrubb7306 she already broke the rules when she got with Noah, they should be more mature and be like "ok I know we made a promise but our lives are different and we need to knowledge this"
I DON'T KNOW yes I get that I wasn’t disagreeing I just feel like sometimes all friends can be toxic but yes I do feel like they should change them
ikr?? like Chad let Troy change his uni with no issue whatsoever!!
The same way Robert Pattinson is a great actor but was on twilight
It was the same thing with Twilight. Lots of great actors and actresses in that. But, the writing was crap, so everyone thought until recently that all of the people in the movie were shit at acting.
They got range, darling
The fact that this girl has two overly attractive guys at her disposal and two spectacular colleges to choose from physically pains me beacuse what a life that is when your only problems are “which one of these hot guys will I pick and which one of these amazing colleges will I go to"

I really can’t get how people who act like they’re 12 can get into Harvard. She doesn’t study, they forget to do the simple proposal, always at the arcade again not studying, writes a crappy essay, and gets into Ivy League. That adds up...
Let’s not forget the reason she does that contest is for the money for college. Yet she doesn’t get like a simple minimum wage job to help raise the money. And wastes all her money on visiting her boyfriend across the country and other dumb shit like the money going into the dance game. And I’m not even going to bring up that she’s already rich by going to a private school and living in Southern California in a huge
house.
@@LindsayLohanHuh Noah bought the ticket, she didn't.
Fiona that’s true but doesn’t really matter. Yes he’s rich but she’s not poor. If she’s smart enough to get to an ivy league she’s also smart enough to apply for a scholarship, a Job, sell her old stuff that’s in her huge house... which she did not do any of that😂

Has anyone actually ever seen a kissing booth irl? I swear they are only in movies
Ofc not, thats illegal, boredeline prostitution
Sounds like a 1 way trip to get stds
I’ve seen “kissing booths” where they give out Hershey kisses. That’s about it.

So true.
If I were Rachel I would of run for the hills ages ago... heck I wouldn’t of hit that in the first place😂😂 Nothing wrong with having a female best friend, but (like you said) his co dependence is a problem.
