I don't want to go much into detail if you ever want to watch it later on. It's just a really impactful scene/sub-plot.

I feel like dylan would reallyyyy like season two due to its shift of tone. Season one is all fun, lighthearted, and summer love and then season two takes a shift where its more serious and dramatic. That’s something i really like about the second season was that change of tone. I feel like this show is something dylan can enjoy.

Belly has never had to second guess his feelings like she does with Conrad. He can’t communicate properly but expects people to understand what he’s feeling, and that, for me is what makes him toxic. I don’t think Jere is toxic.
This is definitely a guilty pleasure show for me. The vibes are ✨immaculate ✨ My family makes fun of me for being so into it even though I’m not the target demographic (I’m 25 years old and didn’t read the books)

The first season is insanely good. Not just by teen drama standards, or early 2000s standards, but by TV show standards. And then it very quickly goes to shit. But honestly, the first season is a perfect TWENTY-SEVEN episode story, it’s more than enough content hahaha.
