- It was time for me to grade to a new tool box because I'm running out of space. I went with this toolbox because the size, quality and price was right for me. It took a long time to move everything around but doing it right is key so you can be ready for any job that comes in shop.

My favorite saying, you never know when you're going to need something.👍
Two questions? 1. Did you tip the man at least a C-Note for helping you and 2. What are you doing with your Old Husky tool box. Maybe a raffle it for one of your subs!
I am happy you've not fallen for the snap-off trap
HF US General tool chests are FANTASTIC! Hold up extremely well, and GREAT PRICE! Hats off JIMBO!
Congratulations on your new addition! I love how organized you are, it's a small shop yet you make it work. Not only I'm developing fabrication skills from you sir, but how to be more organized as well. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Have a blessed day.
That's funny. It's been almost 10 years Jimbo. I upgraded from my husky 52 to just last year. Matter of fact your review on the the husky box was how I found your channel and the reason I bought the husky 52 back in 2016 not long after you got yours. I didn't upgrade to the u.s general 72 I stuck to the 52 box. Everything I had in the entire husky 52 could fit in just the bottom of the u.s general 52. That was epic to see. U.s general boxes rock though.
Congratulations on your new tool box Jimbo. Hopefully it works well for you for many years to come and fit many more tools. Can't wait to see more videos soon my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab on. Weld on. Keep making. God bless.
Pretty excellent. It's good to clear out some cobwebs now and then. It also makes you feel more productive to have a well organized workshop or office (at least that's what I've been told!). When the video started, I thought yep, that would take me a month of Sundays to get done by myself. Good to have a helping hand. Enjoy the new setup!
Very nice... I'll have a tool box someday...
Nice Job Jimbo ! I'm holding out for the full ICON rig as my retirement gift to myself. I've had very good luck with all of my USG tool boxes over the years.
Looks nice and clean!! Congratulations on the new toolbox, I wish I could have one like this 🙂
Great addition - that thing is a beast.
So cool man !
I never even thought of taking the top lid off. Learned something new today
Great job. I've been logging a notebook of your thoughts and ideas for my new shop. 👍
Nice tool box and great video
I have the same box in blue.. I sold my snap on to buy it.. my snap on was a 53 and I out grew it.. only bad thing about the us general is the lack of a power supply in it.. but they sell a magnetic surge protector power cord that I installed in it and it works great..
Very impressive tool box. Great video im looking forward to more top class videos.
Add 4 feet to the back half of the garage as a 2 nd story loft space for storage
HF boxes are awesome. I have several, no complaints
Beware the expanding theory of stuff.
I thought being a big YuTube star you were going to go with the Icon tool box. LOL! I have several US General boxes and they really are awesome. And for the money they are unbeatable.
Nothing better then a new tool box...maybe new tools!
The general toolbox at Harbor freight is probably their best item..
That job looked pretty overwhelming at first! We are a lot alike when it comes to keeping everything. It is just the way i was raised. Nothing goes to trash if i think it might come in handy one day! Nice to have a helper on hand to make things a lot easier. Well done boys!
If you haven't used in a year you probably never will.... If you try that theory you will probably find you will need it days after chucking it out

Congratulations jimbo. From Anaheim, Ca
Holy crap.
Enjoyed this video. I need rearranging in my shop but so hard for me. I can build and have built just about everything but organizing is difficult for me.
You should do a tool box tour. I would love to see it
I searched all tool boxes and those boxes are built better than most tool boxes. I’m not spending money on a snap on which is insanely priced. I have had a large US General tool box for years and it has held up well
I always try to toss everything under 2’. I love to keep everything as well thinking I’ll need it some day when chances are I’ll go buy it or find something different
Nice😊
Yep, have a US General, too...
I got a husky its already half broken drawers after 3 years. US general is still like new 5 years later. Good purchase.
I'm having good luck with all of my US Generals as well.
I have 3 co workers that roll around in the Gravel pit with US General top boxes in their trucks, open to the wonderful MI weather, pit dirt and STILL work fine. Crazy.
Very nice! I've used a few us general boxes and find them to be outstanding. I recently did a big reorg myself and split my tools up a bit rather than buying a bigger box. I separated my machinist tooling and precision measurement tools into two single bank Kennedy boxes, my welding/fabrication/layout tools into another single bank Kennedy/Craftsman box, my mechanical tools into a used snap on double bank box, my household/woodworking tools into a single bank box with overhead shelving and added a workbench between that and the mechanical box for basic benchtop repairs. Liking the flow so far but still mentally reprogramming on grabbing tools from the new setup.
I'd love to see a video on how you store your hardware. At my hobby shop I use a combination of plastic organizer boxes, a small drawer parts cabinet and a LISTA cabinet. I work in aviation structural testing we use a giant locker with the plastic Akro bins, a LISTA and organizer trays. They've asked me to put some time into organizing the hardware there and don't have the budget for additional LISTAs so I'm looking for ideas on organization for basic and specialty hardware including MS and NAS fasteners.
Good one Jim. Thanks for posting. Something all of us hoarders need to do. You are in good company. As much as you grind in the shop, I'm surprised you didn't have tons of buildup on those old shelves. Any advice on the knee replacements?
Wooowww nice )

Damn I thought I had a lotta stuff lol
Just made a few gifts bending words and other objects from junk drops. Trash to treasure.
Por favor , qual o site oficial da HUSKY BOX ?
Если новый шкаф на колесах, зачем вам нужен домкрат? If the new cabinet is on wheels, why do you need a jack? 15:25
How thick is your floor?
I was not expecting the Harbor Freight special. The upgrade looks great and fits in well. Good work.
🇰🇬
Aaaaaaah shouldve got a snap on thatll never last lol
it'll last just fine, lmao. Craftsman boxes from 30-40 years ago aren't built this well/heavy and are still kicking. Plus that Husky he has obviously held up with no issues and those are built extremely light vs a U.S. Gen....
If you think DIYers to mid-level users (video poster refers to themselves as homegamer) need to be dropping 4-5x as much on SnapOn you're dumb as a rock. Next you'll say people need to slave away on Facebook market place finding these magically "cheap" used tool truck boxes that don't actually exist, or if they do, they're long gone before you ever get a chance at grabbing it. (orrrrrr you just end up getting stuck with a small box with less storage space for the $$ vs this one...and GL finding matching accessories/additions for it anyways...)
Money saved for people in this segment is better spent on higher quality tools, power tools, specialty tools/equipment. Wasting your budget on storage as a DIY-level type would be stupid af. Prove me wrong. (you can't)
guaranteed you throw it away you need it next month
Nothing wrong with US General. Just like any other tool box it's there to store your tools. People that waste their money on tool truck brand boxes aren't better technicians. they're just idiots.
Insanely nice box but kind of unnecessary at this stage of your life in my opinion
