- in this vid i picked up my new white harbor freight top and bottom box and un pack it and talk about both the tripple bank bottom box and the top chest

I wanted the hutch but I have so many tools that didn't have a home. I went for the chest and i'm happy that I did.
I don't have too many yet but plan to fill this one so I get that . And so far I'm very happy I got the top chest also! Thanks for watching I appreciate it !

Yeah most people immediately think it's just going to get so dirty but no dirtier than any of the other colors and imo the white with black trim really pops and for me matches well with my shop too . Thanks I really appreciate it and thanks for watching!

Was gonna get the 72" top toolbox, but got the 72" top hutch and side locker instead bc i was able to save more on the 2, and if later on I can add the extension toolbox or another locker. I got everything on salee too...

Both boxes look awesome! I like the toolbox sort of creating the wall next to the stairs to give you the fab table behind it. Do some sort of sealant on the box now to make it wipe up and protect it long term ;)
Yeah, I'm still torn on which way to put it, but the good thing is it's on wheels so I can play with it more once I move everything in and start really settling the space up . Yeah, that's a good idea about coating it with something, I'll have to look into that and am open to suggestions if you have any for a product to try

U.s General 72" triple bank and top chest is same price like 2post 9000lbs car hoist , what is better to have?
Honestly for me having the two post lift was a better more useful thing for me but my bendpak 10apx was about 2500 more then these boxes but in the end both were great investments for my shop and I would buy them both again if I had to do it over and money allowed. Like when I got this box I put part of it on their card to save a little then sold that green datsun 620 that was in the garage to buy the lift . Thanks for watching!
Debating on whether I should bite the bullet or not I’m skeptical about the locking mechanism reliability as I own a us general roll car and the lock seized twice on me.

Yeah I can understand that concern for sure bit I have that with most any purchase from hf haha but in all seriousness it seems like a pretty quality box ( for the money ) and especially that's its coming from hf . I'm assuming your talking about the key lock and not the drawer slide locks and if so I'm not in a position I need to lock my box or my older usg carts being in my home garage but I could imagine they'd be something that could fail over prolonged use . I can say, in my opinion, though, that the full-length drawer locks on the series 3 are much more convenient and easier to use than my series 2 cart . I was interested in getting the top box, but I've heard it's too tall to really see and access the open top area.
Not going to lie I love having the top chest for more tool storage but being 5'10" yes it is borderline too high for me to easily see what's laying on the mat especially towards the back so if you put small stuff like a drill bit or something it's harder to see but for larger things like my cordless tools and batteries there's no issue seeing stuff like that
What size trailer is that? Im picking up my series 3 72 with hutch in a few days and not sure if i should get the 5x9 or 6x12 uhaul trailer
I'm 90% sure it's 5x8 but I'll double check tonight when I get home
Any idea what height the lid reaches when its open? Thinking about one of these in the future but I have shelving that looks like it could interfere with the open lid.

Did you bolt the boxes together?
No I did not, I thought about it but it's so heavy and I don't have any plans to move it around much and even if I do it would only be in the shop so no real risk of the top box coming off

Haha, awesome. I like it a lot, and so far, it stays clean and / or cleans up easy . Yeah I understand why some might need one in the shop they work at but imo having more drawers to put tools is much better . You could always ad a side locker once they release those to take the place of the hutch . Thanks for watching! And good luck on making your decision on yours !

I recently bought the series 3 72" roller in blue, top hutch, side cabinet, and side drawer. The roller was on sale for 300 off.

I hate to say it but I actually sold it to buy the lift I have . It was one of those things I hated to do but after spending everything I had building the shop I felt I needed the lift more , it sucks because it was a super solid truck too . Thanks for watching!

For the Icon the hutch seems to be pretty nice as a clean work area/ office, but on the US general because it is not as deep, the cover sticks out further than it should when open.
