Was struggling for a while with the second hand but I figured it out in the end. I actually decided to go for the second hand that came with the dial instead of the one you have linked, since the blue of that hand matches the blue on the dial more. Really looking forward to my next build, thanks dude!
Thanks for the video and the links. I just finished mine! Only disappointing thing was the second hand color was dark blue but that’s not a big deal as I can change it later on and I stupidly cut the stem too short but that is what learning is for. Thanks again!
Ive changed the link for the hands as I've seen a few people say the same thing! Yeah, thats a good learning curve, thats why I always keep spare stems :)

The dial and handset originally linked were the ones I used. They must have since changed the hands as ive seen a few comments like this. I've updated the link for the handset to another supplier which I use and know to be good. Thanks for letting me know and good luck with your build!

I bought all the stuff from your links, but I didn't get the sky blue second hand ... I got a dark blue (maybe a blued steel?) hand with the white dot on the long side and a small blue dot on the short side. Kind of defeats the Yacht Master look ...

Yeah thats the correct thickness, for me it doesn't feel to chunky or high at all, comparable to a seiko 5 in thickness. Im guessing the extra thickness is due to the size of the movements
Stupid question, if on ali they only show the sterile dial will it still be shipped with the seiko branding? They mention something about it having a s logo so im assuming that they would?

The dial you have linked in the description doesn't seem to have the sunburst effect on the picture, but I understand that they will send it with the logo. Also, it doesn't seem to have the blue yachtmaster etched onto the dial? Im planning on buying this as my first custom, so insight would be great. Love the vids, you've earned yourself a sub!
Could be the bezel rotate direction. As its normally one way. But on a yacht master is bidirectionail (so both ways to rotate to). Maybe they mean that!? I got The case in this video and linked in the description, and its only 1 way rotating. But that's fine for me but isn't like the real yachtmaster model.

Buy them anyway, the sellers delete some parts so that the sites don't get deleted, but if you choose one of those that are deleted you will get the dial with all the drawings at your house, don't worry😊

I built a watch nearly identical to yours except the dial was darker gray in color and I didn’t use a blue colored seconds hand. I purchased my dial from a different seller though. Yours looks amazing and I may have to build one like it😊 I checked the link you provided for the dial. I’ve ordered from that seller, in the past, on AliX and will never give them money again. I ordered four dial/hand combinations and two of the dials arrived damaged. They were damaged due to improper packaging so I sent photos to the seller. They were shipped together in the same container with only a thin layer of tissue paper between them. The dials rubbed together during transit and arrived with scratch marks visible to the naked eye and, were beyond repair. They argued with me and said I damaged them during installation although I took the pics right after removing them from the packaging and examined them. I argued back and forth with them for about two weeks and got AliX involved also. They were no help either so I wrote off the dials and refuse to purchase from them again. If any of you watching this video wants to purchase a dial from the seller he provided a link to, caveat emptor. I hope you have better luck than I did.
That sucks to hear that they weren't willing to help you out! Ive purchased 9-10 dials from this seller and have had good luck so far. But it can definitely be hit and miss using Ali. Appreciate the word of warning though!

@@amedeofazzio4792 No problem :) 1 - It definitely sounds like the stem is still a little too long. 2 - It depends on the case your using, some cases will require the use of a spacer and some do not (regardless of the style of case) But yes, it is normal to use a spacer

Nice video ! Do you always have to use 28.5 dials? regardless of the case size? Will 28.5 dial be perfect for both 36mm watch and ig 40mm?
It really depends on the case your using, but most of the date just style cases will use the same 28.5mm dial regardless of it being 36 or 40mm
