Great video, both of my rear doors were stuck. I took the first one off and sprayed the spring with WD-40 and it started working again. After examining it closely I realized that I could lift that flat black rubber behind the handle and access the spring. So on the other door I used a flat tip screw driver and got under that flat black rubber, stuck in the straw attached to WD-40 and started spaying. Couple minutes later the handle was working again. So maybe someone with same problem can try that first and see if it works for them. Thanks, great video
Men.you saved me. I did spray wd 40 right now and my car door is working again. Also i did spray a little engine oil with a Gering too.thank you so much for the idea 💡.
Great video! It helped me with one of the back doors on my 2000 Nissan Pathfinder. Following the advice of Kevin K. I grabbed my can of WD-40 but instead of going thru the black rubber holes behind the door handle I just sprayed thru the holes of the hinge of the handle itself. 3 minutes later it opened. Thank you so very much for the video and the advice. I hope it helps someone else.
Great video. I repaired my stuck door following your advice. I replaced the exterior handle, interior handle and lock mechanism with parts I found off of a Pathfinder at a junkyard that weren't rusted like the one in your video and the one I removed from my car. Cost about $30.00 I added a metal lubricant like you did for extra protection and less friction then reinstalled it. It's working like new again!
