Dom no disrespect but No, Kobe never said he was better he said hes not a Leader and he's not. If you have respect for Fairness check out Basketball Examined channel and the video..The One Flaw in Lebrons Game. And reapond then....

Big kobe fan here and im pretty salty over the video overall, but i literally cannot find a way to argue with this video, its just so well argued. Props to you dom, you earned a sub
Lol you are an idiot...conveniently dok didn’t talk about defense where Kobe blows lebron out of the water...or the fact that lebron having the big 3 still lost to old spurs...nor did he discuss that lebron stat pads all his games to make his box score look better...and he 3-6 in finals...once he played a team in west he lost...the east has been the weakest conference by far!!!!
There are Lebron fans that say stats don't matter. Some of those people also happen to place Kobe above Lebron because of skill, influence and mentality/killer instinct. There are also people who are fans of both players. Don't speak for everyone, you're one person. And it's a fact that stats don't tell the whole story. "Stats don't matter", well if they did, everyone would be chasing them and you'd see a completely different game from many players in the NBA. It's not always hard to tell when someone is chasing stats, you know, if you WATCH them PLAY.
Zach Falbe you must be dumb to ignore what are all those stats lead to? Championship it is dumb ass, that’s the number/stats matters most right? Or you just hoping to be second best all the time like 6 times? LMFAO
LOL people saying Dom is biased is funny, Dom is a fan of Kobe and has stated there was a point in time he hated Lebron, just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they have a bias
He said he would choose kobe and likes kobe more but all the things he stated says it all, also im a kobe fan, im not a lebron fan but i respect his game.
Deleted Videos that was before he died and Shaq is a monster 7’3 over 310 and you gonna fight him? That’s crazy it’s more of a respect not a disrespect
How? Why do people always forget that Lebron in his 17 years has 6 all defensive....kobe has 12 all defense...so he had elite offense while being a top defender...lebron can have all the stats but they dont equate wins...this year in Lakers first time in west lebron avg 27 8 8 and guess what lakers werent close to making playoffs....missed cluth FTs...this Lebron is so overrated he needed 2 all stars to get finals in east...created the big 3 super team era...lol...imagine Kobe calling people and being like lets dominate the league hed have 10 rings but he rather COMPETE
D Boogie FACTS. Cleveland was in a weird position. They had LeBron that could carry them to the playoffs but they werent good enough to win, but they werent bad enough to draft top prospects.
You make an incredible point in this video, but the one thing that most people seem to forget is what was expected of Kobe and LeBron when they were drafted. Kobe wasn't expected to even be in the GOAT conversation when the Lakers drafted him. The fact that he is in the conversation in that of itsself is a huge win.
"If you wanna see kobe win his 6th ring when he signs with the warriors because they're just getting everybody now" That hasn't aged well has it Oh man I never edit my comments that get a lot of likes because it kills the joke but RIP KOBE
Huge facts. A lot of people hate on the 2018 playoffs, but honestly it was one of the best ever in my opinion. We got to see one of the greatest players of all time silence ALL doubters and drag one of the worst teams in the league through the entire playoffs, dominating all challengers and showcasing why he was just so damn good. I'm glad it's more competitive this season, with Bron on the Lakers and all, but honestly I'll miss seeing the incredible power of one player taking on the entire conference and winning.
Hey Dom I’m a Kobe fan myself and I still am salty but I liked the points that you made in the video like how Kobe’s mentality worked against him sometimes. But overall I think you made a great video. I also respect how you research so much on your topics to make a good video and I respect you for that.
Lebron is a better 3 point shooter than Kobe. He's also a better clutch player. Lebron has more playoff buzzer beaters. Don't care! @Buff kobe Kobe is barely top 15. Carried by Shaq and refs in 2000, 2002, played weak teams in finals in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, Kobe never had any clutch finals moments. He was 6/24 FG this game and is the most overrated NBA player ever. That is fact. MJ owns Kobe and that is fact. Accept it. Kobe is 6-16 against LeGoat in his career. Lebron is his daddy. I'll give you Kobe top 15 all time, thats it. Also he was never a good passer or efficient scorer ever, not a superstar until Shaq was gone, and took advantage of a weak era. Kobe would've dropped 20 against the 2017 Warriors off of 6-29 shooting and 13 Free Throws. Accept it. He's a trash version of MJ, nothing more!!!!!!
yeah kobe single handedly outscored a similar mavs team in 06 dirk will tell you himself how kobe dropped 62 in 3 quarters on jason terry & dirk lmfaooo
I can't say I'm a LBJ fan, but I'm glad you brought up all those performances for LBJ because his clutch-ness is something that has always been a lil bit underrated. While on the other hand, Kobe's clutch-ness has always been a lil bit overrated. I just remember waaaaay more flame outs than signature/defining moments!
I'm going to refresh your memory, game 7 2000 wcf, game 4 2000 nba finals. Games 4 and 1 of the wcac and wcf respectively in 2001. Game 4 wcac 2002, game 6 +7 wcf 2002. Game 3 nba finals 2002. All games 2009 finals. Game 7 2010 nba finals. 60 point performance in his last game.
I know Kobe terrorized a lot of teams, but Dom, since 2010 LeBron playing our Celtics has basically become a question in what amount of games will they be beaten.
I have to give you respect for making this video, it takes some guts knowing you'll get tons of people disliking and hating in the comments. Seems in 2018 you can't share your opinion without starting a war.
KD35Beast I'm not sure, but has LeBron ever been in a postseason game where both teams are playing suffocating defense? I'm not a Kobe fan, it is just that these fans on UA-cam just base their arguments off of career stats without any proper context. It makes me laugh soooo much on how stupid they are.

Kobe made me fall in love with basketball, but LeBron is just better! Leaving comparisons aside, we're lucky to have seen them play!
@John Marston im a warriors fan and i got hella respect for lebron and ad coming back 3-1 despite the injury and suspension. Gs had so many chances to close that game. Steph and klay dissapeared in game 7 while dray played like he was about to win fmvp.
Shout out to you Dom, this vid is amazing. Although LeBron is my favorite player ever since I started watching and playing basketball in 04 it is truly ridiculous how people are trying to downgrade Kobe and LeBron and MJ just because of the stupid argument of who the GOAT is.... why can't we just appreciate each person's greatness smh
I agree. This is why I think the GOAT debate in basketball is pointless. I'd say Michael Jordan's the greatest but you may say LeBron James is. There's no clear answer.
Over rated? Lmao 😂 You're talking about a dude that ran away from Shaq to prove how great he was, LeBron ran to Wade and Bosh to try and prove how great he is. Thats not being over rated
but why such great player always need help of MVP caliber players, just think about, Wade, Bosh, Love, Kyrie, Davis, they simply carried him@@SonlyticalYT
Shae Micah Are you sure you dont want some Kleenex because kobe would never even beat the warriors with lebrons team, he probably wouldnt even make the finals OUCH!!!
We got robbed by never seeing LeBron is San Antonio. There could not be a better team for him, ever. That system and the way they played was tailor made for LeBron. Bron on the Spurs would have at least seven rings but realistically he could have had a perfect finals record.
Lebron wouldn't go to San antonio, there he has a coach to call him out whenever he messes up and lebron doesn't like that. Spurs also play team ball, meaning lebron stats will drop and you know lebron is a big stat guy. Dont let lebrons relationship with pop fool you, that team would not do well if lebron joins them. 2011 heat was a great example. Lebron actually tried to get Eric spo fired because he was calling lebron out on plays where he didnt do well but pat riley rejected his wish and won 2 rings there. Then in Cleveland he gets David blatt fired for ty lue? If lebron truly wanted to play for a real coach, why did he get blatt fired? I'm not hating on lebron. In fact I have him as a top ten player all time. But lebron likes puppet coaches, hence is the reason why he wanted lue in LA.
Rocket k nah he’s the GOAT look at this list he’ll go down as the goat especially when all these old heads who are hypnotized by Jordan’s stacked bulls destroying wack ass teams are gone then lebron will be recognized as the greatest. www.google.com/amp/s/www.lineups.com/articles/top-50-nba-players-all-time/%3famp
LeBron will never be Kobe. Bricklayer and has been swept twice without Kyrie/Wade simple. Before y'all say Shaq carried Kobe. Look at those game winners he hit when Shaq fouled out.
I saw a lot of old games recently about kobe and I started to think about other things that it may not be pointed in here. It's a great video and a fine job as I said in other comment, but I'm half way there because now I'm in the belief that prime Kobe is better than Lebron, but he doesn't rank higher and he's not greater. From a guy who played this game (as an semi-pro level in argentina) and won and lost finals of the local and state championships, I think that there are many things to consider when comparing players. For example the system under where they're playing. While I think there's no doubt Lebron is a better passer, Kobe (and also MJ) are underrated because of the system and what the couch and the team ask them was to score the ball, they weren't ask like Lebron to create a play or run the floor as a PG. And I have two examples to support my point: 1) In 89 (correct me the year if I'm wrong) doug made MJ play as a PG for 11 games and guess what? He had 10 triple doubles with stats that would easily top Lebron, 33.6 PPG 11.4 APG 10.8 RPG 2) James harden went from a fine season to a triple double season (almost) with only big change: Mike DiAntoni and HIS SYSTEM who allowed james to handle more the ball and his team to shoot more. Did Harden went from a fine assist player to a Magic or Oscar level in one season? NO. The system allowed him to increase his stats. The same thing can be said about many things that, to me at least, put an end to a nonsense discussion about something that it's impossible to know. For example handchecking, the pacing, and many many more things. I love your videos, but at least in my opinion, having played the game for many years and playing finals and facing many different players (skilled in so many different ways), there's no point in saying one player is the GOAT because you can't compare eras and positions. How can you said that MJ was better than Bill Russell? You can't. Because how on earth are you going to evaluate pacing, rules, context, awards that didn't existed back then, technology, and the simple fact that MJ would have not exist if not Dr. J and all the players that came before him. There's a lot of fun in comparing and trying to put one above the other, but actually there's not a single argument that can be proven to put one player above the other (I mean players that are in the GOAT tier). I've always liked how hubbie brown said it: 4 best SG, 4 best PG, 4 best SF, 4 best PF and 4 best C of all time. And if I had to make it, I would prefer to put the best five from each decade (wich to be fair, it won't be accurate). Love your vids dom, have a nice day sir
I do understand your first point. I do however, believe you'd have to take one or the other w/ LeBron. LeBron is a Point Forward for his entire career which bumps his APG stats more but I do believe that LeBron would be scoring on a level similar to Kobe and MJ were it not for him having to play point so much and only looking for his shots. That could also make him spend more energy on the defensive end (his defense isn't lacking like many LeBron haters make it out to be- I think Jordan was greater bc he was locked in more as a defender while Kobe was overrated in that department once he got into his mid-20s imo). Also, if LeBron played under Phil Jackson like MJ and Kobe did, he'd win a lot more in the Finals which would also help his argument as one of the greatest ever. As dominant as Jordan was during that Point Guard period, it didn't come w/o any drawbacks. The Bulls were 34-23 before the Bulls' Jordan-Point-Guard experiment and while it started strong (the Bulls won 11 of the first 14 games), they would go on to lose 8 of their final 10 games. So, while Jordan got incredible numbers during that period, the Bulls only had a 13-11 record in the same span for a 54.2% win percentage. Compare that to their pre-Jordan-Point-Guard period Bulls who were a 59.7% win team. The Pistons also liked this version of Jordan more as they believed that they'd just let MJ score as many points as he wants but let the rest of the team beat them. By the end of that season, there were reports that Jordan found it too exhausting to be the PG while also being a dominant scorer and being an incredible defender simultaneously. Kobe had a similar span (albeit far less dominant and w/ a smaller sample size) in 2013. He averaged 11.2 APG in 5 games but only scored 16.6 PPG. Similarly in the 2003 season, he once averaged 10.3 APG in a 6-game span (the Lakers only went 3-3) and his scoring lowered to 22.3 PPG when he was averaging 29 a game just before that stretch. In other words, playing PG would absolutely lead to a higher APG but it doesn't exactly mean that it's the best thing you can be for your team. In Kobe's case also, his scoring lowered big time compared to MJ and LeBron. It's similar to KG and Duncan- both are selfless, defensive-minded, and high-IQ Power Forwards, but Duncan just happened to be drafted by the best NBA organization of the 21st century while KG was drafted by Minnesota. Had they switched positions, Duncan's stats would be greater while KG would win more championships.
LeBron James is greater then Kobe and thats coming from a Laker Fan who watched Kobe but I hate how LeBron fans (aka Nick Wright) make the narrative to absolute discredit Kobe.
I appreciate your honesty. I grew up in the early above the rim play era. I tend to lean towards the lone gunman, the volume shooter, the killer type. So, naturally I'd probably go with Kobe too. But as a pure player, James is it
This video is relevant now. You have no idea how many times I’ve seen people say the Kobe is better than LeBron. Just because he’s dead as tragic as it is, doesn’t change his stats.
@Henry cherry picking much? lol. 2011 Finals LeBron: 18/7/7 on 54%TS 2000 Finals Kobe: 16/5/4 on 43%TS LeBron’s numbers have only gone up from his first 2 finals and played tougher teams. Look up their overall finals averages and tell me with a straight face that Kobe’s stats aren’t worse than LeBron’s. In case you’re too delusional to bother looking them up, LeBron’s finals averages are 28/10/8 on 54%TS, Kobe’s finals averages are 25/6/5 on 51%TS
@Henry "kobe was 22 lmao" LeBron at 22 led the Cavs to the finals and averaged 22/7/7 against the Big Three Spurs. "he wasnt the first option yet" One of the reasons Kobe is not on the same tier as LeBron or Jordan, who were always the first option. "At leasst kobe isnt afraid to shoot" Yet he has the most missed shots of all time. Small forwards aren't required to shoot as much as shooting guards. There is a lot more to the game than just scoring, yet even in that aspect LeBron still surpasses Kobe in points and player efficiency. "Imagine being "the best player in the world" and averaging 17 ppg on 54% ts" Did you just ignore the rest of my reply?

Kobe Bryant was an Ok (not great) player and for people to have him in the conversation of the goat is mental illness at its finest, dude is so overrated that is comical, it’s really pathetic how people are delusional to facts.
Lol lebron took the 2018 and 07 cavs which are the worst finals teams ever. He also took gsw 6 games without kyrie and klove. He care back from 3-1. And remember the game where he was 73% from the field against the celtics. Tell me if kobe was ever that efficient. Lebron is better and if you say “kobe had more skill eye test eye test” lol if we talk about eye test kd is a more skilled player than lebron but he is not better.
Just see the voting of pros who have played against both of them, majority of them picks kobe over lebron. END of discussion, stats doesn't tell full story. If you want to go by stats WILT is THE GOAT!!!!
As a Lebron fan, I believe Kobe is as good as Lebron in terms of his overall game. Kobe is probably the best difficult shot maker of all time. My only issue is that his shot selection sometimes hurt his impact on the game. Therefore Lebron ends up having a better impact. However, when all the hard shots go in, it makes Kobe look so unstoppable and donminant, which LBJ barely did. That impression makes Kobe so lovable. Lebron passes more when he doesn't have a good game. That's better for the team. But always playing so reasonable makes his game less exciting some time for fans who just want to see some fancy stuff. Playing right BBall when being a passer with spacing doesn't looks eyes-poping. Plus, Lebron's stiff form doesn't help much. In terms of point production from a player, adjust to pace and era, there are a few best season. I know this from Ben Taylor, the professional NBA writer. Those are Shaq's one best season, MJ and Lebron's MVP-leveled seasons, and Stephen Curry's 73 wins season. Lebron and MJ are so productive due to the circumstances they're in and their ability to help the team with so many ways. I love Kobe's game a bit more when I was a kid. As I learned more about more NBA offense more I started to appreciate how ball movement works. After that, I start to see how Lebron manipulates both teams. It's incredible. His ability to pass to everywhere with speed and precision is a cheat code that takes a more deep look to figure it out.

Beg to disagree!! Your arrogant self centered self proclaimed “goatee” needed to proclaim himself to be included in the “conversation”! The truth is he is nothing but a FAKE and a BIG JOKE!!
I agree that Lebron is greater but, hes done more with less talent? He had to create a superteam in Miami and then another super team in Cleveland when he went back. And dont say Kevin Love is trash because hes an amazing talent, more versatile than Pau Gasol. I just think most of his teammates decline when they go to play with him because they get turned into spot up shooters.
he's not a superstar but hes still an all star for a reason... ppl act like hes trash but have probably never seen him play in Minnesota. He isn't used correctly

Yung Savage didn’t Kobe say he had to play the spurs in the west every year and the mavs went through the heat and Lakers so we can’t ignore that you can say Kobe is better than lebron or vice verse but be a little complicit
Dylan Crow their favorite quote is always “stats don’t matter” I seriously wonder if these people have just tuned out of the last 5ish years of basketball.
So if lebron gets to the finals this year, what's gonna be the excuse, "Oh the wind was blowing at a 48 degree angle to the left of his hairline ofc he's gonna win" that's what people who critic lebron sound like
not for giving credit to LBJ, he's a beast but it seems that whenever there's a comparison with Kobe involved, that comparison turns to a trash-talk about Kobe (i'm not talking about this video, but in general)
Id give Lebron credit he is in the line up of GOATS but he not better than Kobe and Kobe aint better then Mike. Thats just how it is. Rings dont lie and those clutch genes dont either. Lebron is not a clutch player he is the last GOAT i'd pick for the last 2 minutes of a game to win it.

Kobe is a once every 10-15 years type of player, Lebron is a one in a lifetime type of player. We've seen players like Kobe before and we'll see players like him in the near future. We've never seen a player like Lebron. 250 lbs. with that type of athleticism is unheard of. You can put Lebron in any team and they are automatically making the playoffs. As talented as Kobe is, I'm not so sure you can say the same about him.
That's not true. Lebron missed the playoffs is first 2 years in the league and he didn't even make the play-in tournament this season with the Lakers. He isn't automatically making the playoffs on "any team".
@@koolkai4299 He had a trash team during his entire first stay in Cleveland, and he's older now and yet still playing at a high level. Without him, the Lakers don't even have a prayer
As a Kobe fan I used to look for any reason to put Kobe over LeBron. Over time I accepted LeBron was better, although him joining the Lakers may have influenced that.
@@joesanthosh5315 You could make a very good case for Kobe as the best player in 2006, but that's about the only year where I could argue Kobe being the best player.
No signature playoff games? Torching Orlando for an entire series? Gm 7 Portland 2000, Gm 4 2000 Indiana, Game 4 2006 Phoenix. And go ask the Spurs how they feel about that statement.
And the same can’t be said about Lebron? His comeback versus Detroit, 2012 game 6 vs Boston, 2013 Finals Games 6 and 7, the 3-1 comeback in 2016, and the utter dominance of the Raptors and comeback versus Celtics in 2018 match up very well against Kobe’s playoff performances

lol Lebron has played less 50+ win opponents than jordan and substantially less than kobe. Lebron has faced 50+ win opponents 53% of his playoff career. Jordan played a 50+ win opponents 73% of the time, and kobe played a 50+ win team a staggering 86% of the time. Also, lebron played 400 more games than jordan and counting. He played 100 more games than kobe and counting. Also, lebron played with more all Stars per year to make it to his finals, then kobe and many more than jordan. All of that to win less than either.
whether it be lebron kobe or mj, learn to respect greatness! on a side note, seeing the classic wade no look assist to lebron at 7:37 gave me some hard hitting feels
Why Lebron was losing so much at Olympics and World Championship and with Kobe team USA never lose a single game? in playoffs Kobe beat most 50+ win teams in history , got more rings against tougher competition in less tries with less help. Kobe had 10 prime years in NBA (2000-2010), Lebron joined in 2003, for 7 years of that time Lebron was around, while Kobe got to three finals through nightmare West conference where every team had 50+ wins, Lebron did what? Right, he was crying for help and then joined to bunch of other super stars to win his rings but even in super teams he was losing more than winning

Respect ur points but I dont agree many things u said are opinion like memorable performence that is opinion because I vividly remember Kobe closing out the pacers while shaq was out all that with a messed up ankle how about the magic series how about when he destroyed the suns in 2010 the spurs in 08 the nuggets in 09 these were all stacked teams and the celtic series in 2010 he had 1 bad game by hes standards but even then he posted 23 15 6 so yeah.....he killed the celtics the games prior to that and coutless other performences so.....
Respectfully disagree. He's had memorable performances but not nearly at the same rate as LeBron. I like Kobe but Kobe has at times been a detriment more times than LeBron has
You don’t even know how to explain LeBron being better than Kobe. In big moments he’s performed better? Please. You say Kobe hasn’t had better big time performances than LeBron, then you say LeBron has been unfortunate and that’s why his Finals record is so laughable? Jeez... I wonder why LeBron had big games. If he’s alone and that’s why he loses, then admit that’s the same reason his stats are way better than many all time greats like Kobe himself.
Wouldn't your stats and efficiency be worse if you were alone? LeBron is an efficient triple double machine despite having awful teammates and still manages to drag them to the finals. Kobe has never had to do anything like that.
Consider this: Kobe beat the Magic and Celtics in back-to-back finals, the same teams that LeBron lost to in the playoffs. Kobe also had much tougher competition and much less teamate help than LeBron. Sure, he had Shaq and later Pau Gasol, but LeBron's played with D-Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, and now Anthony Davis. If you look at their FG%, relative to their era and positions, they were about as efficient as each other. When it comes down to it, Kobe was a winner who didn't need to jump ship to win a championship.
@@cherimoneeboone7127During the 2008-2010 seasons, I would honestly say LeBron had the better team, but the difference is so close that it's negligible. Comparing the early 2000s Lakers to LeBron's Heat teams and 2nd stint with the Cavs, LeBron easily had more help surrounding him. Having D-Wade & Bosh, Kyrie and Love, and AD with great depth are each without a doubt more help than Shaq, even if none of those guys were better than him.
well if you'd ask me I'd say LeBron definitely the best overall player, hell even than Jordan but the reason why I think a bunch of people always tell that kobe mj > lbj is because they don't find lbj that entertaining to watch. Hell, that's my reason too. So if I have to pick which lbj is the best lbj I'd take young lbj on cavs up to heat.
@5:41 Bias. I clean remember Bron trying to close against the Bulls with Noah gaurding him around the FT line. Easy shot, instead he drives on Noah, Taj Gibson, and Boozer. Misses. Game over. This instantly came to mind
This video is a great point that the person that did it first isn't the better player. I would rather appreciate players as being great but because people have to circle jerk about the greatest player, team, franchise of all time, we have to have a number one of players that can't even compete against each other.
In the vid, you mentioned Lebron dishing out these all time performances like nothing and that Kobe didn't do it nearly as easy or often. But you have to consider the competition that goes into it. The context behind those performances. Lebron is amazing no doubt, but he's putting up those numbers against some of the worst teams ever in the East, also why he's ALWAYS making it to the finals. As opposed to Kobe who's facing a real championship contender almost every round in the playoffs. And I also wouldn't say 04 for Kobe was the same as 2011 for Lebron. The 04 Pistons were one of the best teams of all time, Miami was clearly the better team in 2011, and Lebron was no where to be found. Other than that, I do agree Lebron has surpassed Kobe on the all time rankings list. #respectgreatness
Those teams that were led by them were 50+ win playoff teams with legitimate chances to win the whole thing. The West has superior teams to the East. Kobe had to face great teams in the playoffs every year no matter what round. Don't deny the facts. Lebron has had one of the easiest paths to the finals of any player in history.
Keith Howards Dude from 08-10, Kobe and the Lakers played and beat strong teams every round. San Antonio, Utah, Houston, Denver, OKC, Phoenix, Orlando, and Boston were all great teams. And Shaq was part of none of it. And compare those teams to the ones LeBron plays against every year. That says it all.
Lol yeah the Lakers got swept, but they also won back to back championships before 2011, and which Suns team are you talking about? Because 06 and 07, the Lakers had one of the worst rosters ever going up against best Suns team of all time. Or were you talking 2010 when the Lakers beat the Suns? I'm confused?
U didn't just say 04 pistons is all time great Lmao. They were supposed to get swept but instead beat them in 5. Kobe shot them out of the games. Lebron 2011 was passive.
Something I want to point out is that you’re pointing out the best moments from lebrons championship runs and the worst moments from when Kobe lost in the finals
That's because the review is quite biased really, and is created to glorify Lebron while depricating Kobe. Yknw, nobody can take away Lebron's greatness. He is a marvel and we are incredibly lucky to have gotten to watch him play at this kind of level for this long. However, we were very fortunate to get to watch Kobe too, and I'm sure in time he will be held in the correct regard that he deserves.
There’s really no need for opinions. Watch LeBron vs Kobe. The Lakers lost the majority of the time but when it was one on one Kobe dominated. LeBron avoided Kobe at all costs. Kobe hunted LeBron to prove his dominance. No need to compare stats or careers they played each other plenty of times. Kobe proved he was the better player.
@@youngblackandgiftedOkay. If you're gonna make that argument, how many times did they actually defend each other? What was the success rate between them? The best players usually don't defend each other all throughout a game.
I couldn't run from this topic forever, also, I made need to do a part 2 so that's a thing.

I'm not sure, but has LeBron ever been in a postseason game where both teams are playing suffocating defense? I'm not a Kobe fan, it is just that these fans on UA-cam just base their arguments off of career stats without any proper context. It makes me laugh soooo much on how stupid they are.
Kobe made me fall in love with basketball, but LeBron is just better! Leaving comparisons aside, we're lucky to have seen them play!

We got robbed by never seeing LeBron is San Antonio. There could not be a better team for him, ever. That system and the way they played was tailor made for LeBron.
Bron on the Spurs would have at least seven rings but realistically he could have had a perfect finals record.
I kept wishing he'd sign after his contract with the Cavs was up. Derozen might have finally seen the finals.
Yea that would have been an amazing team to watch.
Eugene Irwin he could’ve convinced kawhi to stay
@@Chris-mr5nj nah Kawhi would've hated being in his shadow like Kyrie did.
When Lebron retires we are going to realize how great he is.

TheNamesDitto it's just not true that's why. None of yall actually play that's why
RIP LA 504 Nola i play and i know that lebron is the superior player. Kobe won more cause he had better teams.
He had 10 triple doubles with stats that would easily top Lebron, 33.6 PPG 11.4 APG 10.8 RPG
2) James harden went from a fine season to a triple double season (almost) with only big change: Mike DiAntoni and HIS SYSTEM who allowed james to handle more the ball and his team to shoot more.
TLDR?

Get a life
I do understand your first point.

Yet he has the most missed shots of all time. Small forwards aren't required to shoot as much as shooting guards. There is a lot more to the game than just scoring, yet even in that aspect LeBron still surpasses Kobe in points and player efficiency.

Kobe is a once every 10-15 years type of player, Lebron is a one in a lifetime type of player. We've seen players like Kobe before and we'll see players like him in the near future. The one thing I can say confidently about Kobe is I don’t think we will ever see his work ethic again.

Why Lebron was losing so much at Olympics and World Championship and with Kobe team USA never lose a single game? in playoffs Kobe beat most 50+ win teams in history , got more rings against tougher competition in less tries with less help.

And who had a better team Kobe or lebron?
@@cherimoneeboone7127During the 2008-2010 seasons, I would honestly say LeBron had the better team, but the difference is so close that it's negligible. Comparing the early 2000s Lakers to LeBron's Heat teams and 2nd stint with the Cavs, LeBron easily had more help surrounding him.
Having D-Wade & Bosh, Kyrie and Love, and AD with great depth are each without a doubt more help than Shaq, even if none of those guys were better than him.

This video is a great point that the person that did it first isn't the better player. KOBE IS BETTER PLAYER, MORE SKILLED THAN LEBRON JAMES IN 1 ON 1, BUT OVERALL LEBRON JAMES IS BETTER... SIMPLE AS THAT. END DISCUSSION.
I love the video. My only thing is. How can I put two people in the same convo if one player is clearly better than the other.
THATS WHAT DELUSIONAL BRONSEXUALS DO
There’s really no need for opinions. Watch LeBron vs Kobe. The Lakers lost the majority of the time but when it was one on one Kobe dominated. LeBron avoided Kobe at all costs.
