Shoulder Workout Sets & Reps:
Partial Side Laterals - 3 sets/20 reps
Leaning Side Laterals - 3 sets/20 reps
Leaning Rotations SS Partial Rear Flys - 4 sets/20 reps
Arnold Presses (Mechanical Reps) - 4 Sets/10 slow reps
Wanted to get back in the gym and start filming for the course but also make a video that is useful now so I only used light dumbbells and did shoulder exercises that anyone can do at home.

First day impressions:It arrived in a waist high box. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 Each dumbbell was in its own foam box within the shipping box. Everything was secure and in good shape. No weird smells. The weight changing mechanism is really smooth and straight forward. Changing weight is really fast and easy. Though the handle is plastic, I don't think it will be breaking anytime soon. So far pretty impressed after my first session with them. I was afraid they were going to be too wide at first, but I didn't have any issues with them while doing upright rows.
I love these videos. The fact that they aren’t incredibly long make it so I actually watch them and they don’t end up sitting in my watch later list unwatched for two years.
Josh Firlotte that is incredibly accurate. I have athlean-x or Jeff nippard videos in my folder from about that long ago
bepisthebenis Jeff nippard is pretty good about keeping all his time packed with info, no fluff. I can see what u say about athleanx but nonetheless he helps a lot of ppl for free so i dont mind
Clayton S oh for sure, I love both of those guys. Their videos are long, but not necessarily longwinded. Just a lot at once
Ryan is the only youtuber who isn't wasting my fucking time every 3 seconds.
So accurate
I just did this work out and loved it. Didn't even go past 20 lb DB's and felt it afterwards. I wasnt able to get 20 reps for each of the set so I just added another set of 15 to each exercise.
I’ve used this workout and I’m shoulder pressing 45 pounds now. 20 reps is no joke. Thanks man.
I’ve only just discovered this guy and I’ve been watching a few videos. And I’m completely hooked to the point where I’ve subscribed (which I rarely do) the fact the videos are short and sweet but get exactly to the point with unusually techniques is so different and refreshing than the normal techniques.
I've stumbled onto this channel. Glad I did. The content is concise, no fuss, no ego and different.
Thank you Ryan. All the best.
Your workouts kick my ass and have pushed me beyond what I thought I could ever do. Can’t wait for the course. Thanks man!
Great video 👌🏼. Technique was the biggest thing holding back my delt growth for years - letting go of the ego and fully controlling reps was key
Yep, too many guys go with their ego and try to just move too much weight rather than doing the movement properly.
One benefit to some of these partials -- beyond the usual ones -- is that, if you have a pissed off shoulder, it may be able to tolerate that smaller range better. For instance, on the partial side laterals, by avoiding that lower range of motion, you avoid putting stress on your supraspinatus, which, if it's inflamed, will thank you. Good ideas, here, Ryan.
Amen. I've had issues with pain in my right shoulder and this allowed me to get a great workout with zero discomfort.
The only shoulder workout I will do. I can really get that mind/muscle connection with your approach . Thanks. 🇺🇸
Doing a slo-mo, small movement, Ryan shoulder day always kills. Thanks so much for all you do. It’s much appreciated!
Love this workout. A lot of other shoulder exercises I don’t connect with very well, but your videos really help me feel that whole shoulder development.
Been listening to you for a week or so, already seeing results! Thank you so much 💪🏾
Love your videos Ryan, short and informative and straight to the point.
Thank you man I just had a blast with this work out very much appreciated sets and reps!!
Another AWESOME workout! The right stuff at the right time! Can’t thank you enough Ryan!

Thank you Justin
Thank you very much-this helps immensely!
Because his videos aren’t short & to the point enough😂
@@zacharygrosser4115 it's to get things done faster. Timestamps are better
@@kruxfc9796 thanks for stating the obvious. Like I don’t know what time stamps are.But the whole point of this guys channel is to show you his tips and tweaks on each movement. So it’s not just you doing your same shitty form again and again.
Genius Genuine Ryan, take a bow champ !! Keep sending such tough stuffs with light weight.
Fantastic content from this guy. The best on youtube right now... much appreciated Ryan.
Awesome videos. My absolute favourite go to guy for tips and tricks
Awesome workout as always Ryan! Thank you for sharing bro!
Always love your videos my man 😢💪
been golfing alot over the last year and the right rotator's been talking. those partial side laterals absolutely hit the spot, thank you!
Man, keep doing it the way you do it! Awesome stuff!!
Always looking for killer workouts. You never fail to deliver. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
I would love to see some trap work that you do!
Damn man, by the time I got to the Arnold Presses I could only do 10 weak ones at best. Killer routine man, can’t wait for your next upload!
Matthew Lewin same here bro
Good workout Ryan. I did this routine today and it certainly brought the pain!
Thanks for this! I'm going to give this a try for 30 days haven't had much luck with my delts so happy to try something new! Cheers
Master Wahnish I might’ve done that if these exercises weren’t so hard to memorize. I’d be coming back to this video everyday
WICKED AWESOME set! I'm still working on strengthening my shoulders. Thanks for the continued posts, been having and awesome time following along with the videos and pretending I'm a beast of a man.
I appreciate your videos and the way you explain the movements.
I’ve watched several of your Shoulders videos, and have incorporated at least 4 different exercises to my shoulder workout today. And Wow have I seen gains, specially for rear delts. Thank you!!!
Great to see you hit 300k subs. Hope to see that number continue to grow. Thank you for the excellent content.
Your way of explaining how to do the movement of each exercise and the various body tweaks to get that mind muscle connection is just beyond incredible! Your insight into training blows me away! Thanks also for teaching me that we may have a mind muscle connection on a particular day, but when the day comes around to do that same exercise we may have to slightly adjust our body in a different angle to regain that mind muscle connection. I can’t say enough about this guy!
Breaking down barriers and driving new ideas.
Brilliant.
Probably the best shoulders sets. Makes you feel the delts burning, which is never easy to get. Thanks Ryan.
Keep them coming. Thank you Ryan 💪
Like your style. Keep em coming champ.
Your dbell workouts are saving my muscles in quarantine. Keep them coming and thanks
Wow, you read my mind Ryan. I literally was just now coming to your channel to find a shoulder workout vid & I came across this new vid! Can't wait to try it out this afternoon
Thank you Ryan, for sharing your knowledge. I have been working out at home, my gym let borrowed some equipment and bought some on my own. I have been work on tempo, isolation, and high rep with weights. I'm happy to say I'm happy to say as an employee at my gym I will have access, best part I will have gym to myself. So my question is, in your experience, could I or should I lift everyday?
THANKS FOR THE NEW MOVES AND DETAILS REALLY HELPS ❤
Dang..... Eagerly waiting for the course..... Your recommended exercises plus some that I do, makes the perfect home workout but I still want the lockdown to end...
And you just killed my shoulder. Hats off 🙌🙌🙌

You Are the BEST COACH on the NET Brother‼️👊🏽
So happy to have found this guy. Train well. Take care of one another.
I like your video than any other video out there is because you make it short and informative. No trash talk no anything. Please keep it that way. Also i would like to see more videos on diets as well.
This video has completely changed my experience in working my delts. I have NEVER had so much soreness (a good kinda sore) until I implemented what I saw here. I have always struggled for mind muscle connection with my rear delts and wow... I'm in love.
Congrats on 300k
Love the video man all ways telling me the best way to get results keep going man :)
My favorite body part to work and these exercises are the icing.
I love how he has the gym all to him self. Check and Mate.
That is so brutal on the shoulders, love it!
Congrats on the 300k!!
This was fantastic! Unreal connection to delts.
Great video Ryan changing my perception that heavy weight always equates to gains. If possible a training request for males 50 and older.
I added some high volume dumbbell shrugs and this was awesome! Thanks Ryan 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Beast! I learned so much from you Ryan!Thank you! 🙏💪
been struggling with shoulders for a while, been looking for a light weight workout to really feel the contractions and this just killed me!! thanks man
I just start watching your videos dude and I got to say awesome job man, straight to the point no bullshit
My shoulders 🔥 after those exercises. Thanks Ryan!
The best trainer by far 💪
These are my favorite videos
No grunting show of ego in play here. I checked out the all your shoulder workout videos today. And I was satisfied completely with your work. Performing these exercises will give both growth and the accompanying strength increase and no reduction of shoulder mobility as the angles vary that much . Thank you. As usual I am gonna try these rountines each for a month.
this is a seriously good shoulder routine.i can feel every muscle is tight and pumped after this.getting growin
Your videos really inspire..especially choice of BG music..kicks energy to jumpstart even if we are lying on bed..you look focused and speaks the purpose
I just gave the rotation around the same plane plus the shoulder press a go and it connected like never before. Thanks my man!
Just found this channel. Can't wait to try all of these variations on everything. I've been suck for years doing the same old things will little to no improvement.
Hey Ryan just started watching your videos glad to see someone who knows what they're doing out there in the UA-cam world. I'm a commercial driver I'm 54 years old. I've allowed my career to destroy my body. I just bought a collapsible bench that goes into every position possible and two 90 pound Bowflex adjustable dumbbells. I have a jump rope but I'm too big to be doing that right now. I understand what you're saying about the Arnold press that's a great move I used to work out quite a bit when I was younger I'm not overweight terribly but my endurance has dropped greatly and I definitely need a routine that works for me out here on the road. I've been driving even since before the beginning of the coronavirus been doing it for 20 years. Thanks for sharing your video hope to see more and implement your knowledge into my routine which I greatly appreciate
After the last routine my shoulders were done. Thanks for that 💪🏼
Man, your videos are off the CHAIN!
Your videos are very intresting because it is different from other trainer and its also effective. 💪💪
you're amazing man! Thanks for this vid
Your vids have been helping me stay fit in quarantine thx
The main man! No 1
After those first side laterals I just brought my arms down, relaxed and they just floated up in the air. Great.
You always have some good tidbits 👌👌💪
Shoulders tomorrow! Reading my mind again pal. Keep em coming!
Great routine. I like the idea of the partial movement with the lighter weight - it's easier to get the right feel and isolate the proper muscle and get a good burn. I have done this a couple of times and added one doing a partial front lift to get a little more on the anterior deltoid. I'm 66 and have been weight training my entire adult life and wish I had access to information like this when I was in my prime. Has really helped me to re-energize my workouts. Awesome content Ryan....including the punchy rye humor.
Wish I could train with this guy!!! The best on UA-cam.
Amazing videos 👍🏽
Something Different... Superb 💪
Wow , this is class . So glad I found you . I am 54 yet old ex boxer , and these videos look so well informed . Thank you
Ryan, what's the proper form when throwing a brick to get into my gym? I just want to make sure I hit all my shoulder heads...
Full range of motion is essential
Don't make the mistake of going for too much weight - half a brick in a sock allows for greater control and higher reps
For variation, try using a brick bat.
This thread was clearly meant to be
@@robbaldwin2402 good points!
300k Iso happy for u Rayn, one of the best here in UA-cam, plz workouts with bands🙏🙏🙏
Ryan perfect timing I got shoulders today and I need these stubborn things to grow I have the width just not the roundness that cap look 👀

Finally! Someone my age who's jacked, but unlike me, actually knows what he's doing!
