Im curious if we could get a breakdown of when/how you take your supps ...... and i dont necessarily mean give us your detailed routine but for example do you eat a meal 1-2 hours before the gym, drink your pre and pump 30 mins before, consume the BCAA during and smash a shake right after? Just bought the program and would like to take this dumpster fire of a body at 35 years of age and feel like im not messing up because my routine of supplement consumptions is dumb AF.
Protein is important to muscle building. But protein drinks are a potential problem. Protein must be broken down into amino acids by protease and HCl which is an acid to build muscle. But when you mix protein powder with a liquid which has a pH at or above 7, you are guaranteed not to fully digest it. Many food-based allergens/sensitivities are very small proteins that make it into the bloodstream undigested. So protein drinks can not only be a poor source of amino acids they can also lead to systemic issues like fluid retention and inflamation.
Best body building vibes videos. Watching it resting from my upper/lower workouts of the week. Keep it coming man. Congrats!! Best regards from Venezuela 👍🏼💪🏼🇻🇪

A “pros and cons” video of working out at home vs the gym would be pretty cool. There’s obviously pros and cons to each. It would be cool, and probably fucking hilarious, to get your take on it.
Hey man I just wanted to say I'm a fairly out of shape dude with a lot of discipline problems when it comes to diet and working out properly... Honestly it's more of the overwhelming amount of information and things to learn that has always made it hard for me to dig into it. Watching your videos has been a blessing. I don't know if it's the sound knowledge, sarcastic comedic entertainment, or easy to digest information. But something about your videos just motivates the shit out of me. There are too many things to list but I'm hitting the gym and I'm pushing myself to failure on every single set till my whole body hurts and I can barely lift a glass to my mouth or squat down to shit without collapsing. It's painful, but the progress I'm seeing and feeling is unreal. I'm actually starting to love the feeling and I can feel the direct connection to each muscle group when I'm doing a set and I know it's working. It's simple and easy to follow basics... When I get comfortable with what I've learned I'll start to actually incorporate routines and target specific muscle groups. I am enjoying this journey and can't wait to learn more. Just wanted to say thanks... Once I think I can survive it, I'll have to give your workout routine a go. God bless my guy.
Great videos! How do you feel about those “super greens” and “super reds” that you mix with water? Are those good supps in your opinion and would you recommend a brand if so?
Hey Ryan. I really enjoy your videos. You mentioned that you recommend creatine monohy as part of your pre-workout regimen. I've always heard that it doesn't matter WHEN you take creatine to get gains as long as you just take it. Do you take it pre-workout just because it is the convenient time to do that, or do you think that it gives you a more immediate advantage taking it before hitting the gym?
No advantage to taking it before/after the gym, the only thing with creatine (and same for beta-alanine) is that you have to take it every day, even rest days. If you take preworkout every day, then it can be easy to take creatine at the same time so you don’t forget. I try not to take pre workout every day, though, so I try to just remember creatine in my morning routine (and I don’t bother w/ beta-alanine myself)
It's most effective intraworkout, with zero water, immediately after your first major compound lift (when the muscles are activated, but not entirely fatigued). 1) put a 4-5inch line of creatine on your bench, and make it straight with your credit card 2) snort it in 1 go with your LEFT nostril quickly (the right one will not absorb as much) 3) aquire those gains homie!!! If you're serious about lifting, do 5.5grams instead of the average recommended 5 grams
@@johnlehman27 wow. That makes so much sense. I never really thought about it but I had a feeling i wasn’t taking it the right way. Thank you for breaking it down and sharing the secrets!
Just take it every day whenever is convenient, they say 5g a day but it won't hurt to take 10g a day if your a big guy. You don't need to cycle it either, that's nonsense 😁

I am 140 years old my skin is flaking off and I eat it as extra protein, your vieos teach me loads!
Another great video! You've changed my workout routine for the better. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
Best body building vibes videos. Watching it resting from my upper/lower workouts of the week. Keep it coming man. Congrats!! Best regards from Venezuela 👍🏼💪🏼🇻🇪
Ryan: On the count of three just say where you buy it from. 1, 2, Costco...Not Good.
Me: Thought he was going to say Wal Mart ,hangs head in shame.
The ON whey they have is perfectly fine. I wouldn't touch the combat protein with a 10 foot pole
ON is the only one I’ve taken that doesn’t give me the shits
1,2, GNC
@@blackgazex5873 Curious as to why?
@@blackgazex5873 im assuming thats Muscle Pharm right?
Beta-A gives me a funny feeling in my face. like your content Ryan.
This guys raw humour is best part of these videos 😄
I prefer Optimum Nutrition Whey Isolate with PB powder and some oatmilk for recovery and I drink C4 preworkout before because I love the caffeine boost and it gives me a pump. Just stay hydrated if you use a pre-workout!!
You lost all credibility at c4
@@divingwithsully6222 yeah because "credibility" is why I drink it.
A “pros and cons” video of working out at home vs the gym would be pretty cool. There’s obviously pros and cons to each. It would be cool, and probably fucking hilarious, to get your take on it.
He did one when Covid hit and another about hotel gyms not having any equipment and shows what you can use at home to get a good workout
pros of a gym, there is going to be a fit girl there, cons of a gym, you realize its all men looking for elusive fit girl.
God bless my guy.
hope you're still on the workout stranger, and if not, jump back on it
i bloody love an early morning Ryan video! 1, 2, 3 .. coffee spat on screen
I've never seen your content before, but you definitely have a knack for this sort of thing dude. It's nice to see and hear a bit of humour for once!
This dude has best comedy act on you tube! Oh, and he seems to know a little about training. 🤭👍
Great videos! How do you feel about those “super greens” and “super reds” that you mix with water? Are those good supps in your opinion and would you recommend a brand if so?
I’m a 99 year old man and i’ve watched you my whole life, thank you for this incredible knowledge
😂😂😂
Your dry humor has me cracking up. Subbed within 3 minutes lol. Great video!!!
Is the ISO 100 A good Protein brand? I've been using it quite some time
Take creatine in warm water
No advantage to taking it before/after the gym, the only thing with creatine (and same for beta-alanine) is that you have to take it every day, even rest days. If you take preworkout every day, then it can be easy to take creatine at the same time so you don’t forget. I try not to take pre workout every day, though, so I try to just remember creatine in my morning routine (and I don’t bother w/ beta-alanine myself)
It's most effective intraworkout, with zero water, immediately after your first major compound lift (when the muscles are activated, but not entirely fatigued).
1) put a 4-5inch line of creatine on your bench, and make it straight with your credit card
2) snort it in 1 go with your LEFT nostril quickly (the right one will not absorb as much)
3) aquire those gains homie!!!
In the last year, you have become huge. Congrats, wtg! May we have you do a video on getting started, what motivates you, and what keeps you going?
He is on the juice...
@@selvmortsydd Probably not orange juice. 🤫😬
Even if he is on gear he still looks better than 90% of the people who take the shit. And if he's natty it's even better
@@selvmortsydd Who cares? He has great content, and is pretty f-ing funny. I'm 'natty' and have learned alot from this guy. Quite a few laughs too.
What about creatine HCl, like Creactive? I don't feel as bloated as I do with monohydrate.
Same! That’s why I use HCL
when you click on the “where to buy” bookmark tab, it’s just him briefly saying Costco! Love it lol
LOL. I love your honesty and dark sense of humor .
Whoa ... what about the highly caffeinated RYSE pre-workout supplement you recommended last year? Is that still worthwhile?
Yessssss
Dude, Costco has The 5 lb version of Gold Standard Whey Protein for a great price.
Gold Standard is overrated.
How much they sell it for?
He just said a whey isolate. Not whey protein. There's a difference
@@bobbygeorgopoulos683 Whey isolate is the primary source in Gold Standard.
Just saying it’s worked wonders for me both when I was an idiot on gear and now that I’m off that crap.
@@kyhlekable8088 about $35 for a 5 lb bag
Ryan,, thanks for the advice and how much almond butter do you take with your protein powder to slow digestion?
I tend to just have a perfect bar - almond that seems to help, so I mean that's not much at all
I just turned 15,695 days old recently, and I've been watching you since I dunno, a couple weeks ago. Love the videos.
I dig your delivery of information.
Ryan, if UA-cam doesn’t work, go into comedy. Your delivery is fucking genius.
Videos never get old. Great to have 5 minutes of just guy time.
"Guy time" 💀
"What do I take for recovery?"
Deca, Trembolone, Dianabol, Sustanon 250....... 😂
Your on Point! Like your transparency.
