Great video and wonderful work! Let's work together to end amphibian extinction!
Here for school. Thanks for making a mandatory video actually interesting :)
damn. 1:17 - 1:32 is straight ASPCA-tier, i'm over here tearing up over the frogs!
This is the last time I do bio homework while eating lunch
I was eating orange chicken. Frog legs taste like chicken, ironically.
It appears this is the first of several emergent fungal diseases. P. destructans (white nose syndrome) is another one that comes to mind, as is O. ophiodiicola (Snake fungal disease)
Cool Video!
I would be interested to know which species are more tolerant against it than others, and which are the most vulnerable ones. Great video!
Can boiling all my aquarium decor with boiling water completely kill the Chytrid Fungus including the spores or what would be the best way to combat this horrible disease because I have two African Dwarf Frogs and one just started showing signs of a Chytrid infection and I was wondering on the most effective treatment plan for getting rid of the Chytrid?
Yes, boiling water will kill chytrid fungus. Also, a solution of household bleach is also quite effective at killing chytrid.
My poor babies both have this !! I’m trying so hard to fix it because no vets will see me! I am giving them salt baths because I have no choice it already seems to be helping thank GOD
How can I help?
what about a dsney prmncess
Yeah cool but how do I treat it
he just grabs the frog specimen with his bare hands
He actually has on a very light brown glove...
where did Chytrid come from?
Does anyone know which species of frogs that they have treated in the Sierra Nevada?
Eric sombody Mountain yellow legged frog and Rana sierrae
@0:28 - @1:45
I really wanna know what type of microbes can cancel out the Chytrid's effect :D Plus how? Do they hinder the production of zoospores or basically just cover the frog up like a shield hahahahaa
how many warts do u guys get?
Eric Kroeff haha you're so stupid I'm embarrassed being a human
