@@fafafagat I just wanted to be able to watch all the cool fun videos and thought it was so cool that anyone anywhere could upload their own personal stuff. It wasnt long after I had an account that it got bought by google and gradually went more mainstream over the years. I thought maybe I might upload my own stuff eventually but I got the account back then to watch videos. It seemed like such a unique window to the world, to the coolest things of everyone's every day life. Although back then the sports highlights that appeared on here were far and few between and some leagues initially banned all clips of their games from youtube and werent even uploading their own. Took forever for mlb highlights to get on here. But in the 2000s it was fun to see seemingly random people with crazy personalities like boxxy here blow up without too much editing or technical effects. There was a lot of those. The early videos were more niche but I feel like its only natural that it developed into what it has. I just wish the leagues could ease up more on letting us peasants upload sports content.

I'm 23 now, but boxxy's style does match what we wore (the punk girl thing or whatever you consider it. It was HotTopic all the time, dark eyeliner, her hair even matches the year). In the future, I'll be back for a refresher on the memory again.
