@@Ropotopolousyeah i did a bit of testing with it before suggesting it. it’s a nice workaround for not having 360 degree catch ledge anymore like AC1 and the ezio trilogy
Wary Bubbles also mentioned that holding the parkour Up button after doing the wall run or vertical leap while climbing then using the joystick helps do side ejects more consistently without getting diagonal jumps, even when there NSO is way too close

3:11 I don’t know if u know this but in the ac community especially in the parkour section of it there are universal names for buttons ur “parkour up” is called “legs” “parkour down” is called “empty hand” sprint also was originally called “high profile + legs” and re attaching was called “catch ledge” hand more i emphasize in the older games but basically works the same like mirage there can be differences tho but since they removed the high and low profile mechanic stuff since ac3 it’s just basic sprint but sum people still use the terms tho
@damndatscrazyyy940 my brother those buttons do not correlate at all anymore. They switched to parkour up/down 10 years ago and it's been far closer to that ever since. There's nothing "empty hand" about the circle button in mirage and I have never heard anyone refer to those buttons as such for anything post black flag. I'm sticking with my explanation.
@@Ropotopolous in the beginning is typed “I don’t know if u know” basically telling u there are already universal names for the button if u don’t know u could’ve just said that u know and that they are outdated. Like I said was genuine I still fw ur content tho keep that up
@damndatscrazyyy940 they aren't universal. They are specific to the older games. Parkour up and down are the more modern versions and they fit much better with mirage. Not trying to fight with you but if you wanna make a suggestion I disagree with I'm gonna tell you why I think I'm right lol

Dog shit parkour since the ezio trilogy. Unity is janky,inconsistent overly animated, floaty. AC fans need to quit dick riding the unfinished mess that is Unity.

@wajajan697 I do not find that to be consistent, but if it works for you that's cool. Mirage is weird.

I remapped down/crouch to R2 and run to R1. Holding down the trigger to crouch feels pretty intuitive and not straining at all imo.

This works for PC too because I try to do the dives and it doesn't come out like the result in the video.

@jobaki mirages whole situation could be vastly improved by adding some version of hp to it, definitely.
