A better War Example of the Uzumaki’s durability is actually how Karin was able to bite herself despite being impaled. I’m not sure that the Uzumaki blood in Tsunade really affected her that much, as her durability could also be just a product of training.

Kushina surviving after having the 9 tails extracted and surviving awhile after being impaled through her entire upper body
Karin being impaled by Chidori stream in a vital spot and lingering for minutes and surviving now you could say danzo also lasted awhile after that attack but he had Hashirama cells and hashirama’s dna is used for regenerative healing and then he blew himself up.
Naruto also has extreme durability but people will deny majority of those feats because of Kurama but one thing is he woke up before sasuke after their final fight.

People loved bashing her bc she couldnt fight kabuto well that time but that fight was so one-sided. In fact, all three Sannin were handicapped; Orochimaru couldn't use his hands, Jiraiya had just been drugged by Tsunade and was still weak, and Tsunade hadnt fought in 20 years so she was out of shape and she still suffered from her PTSD and Hemophobia. Meanwhile, Kabuto, who was pretty strong to begin with, took some of those steroid food pills to boost himself like crazy and she still put up a fight against him lol

I know it's been a year, but PLUS, Kabuto STILL couldn't overpower her and had to resort to stabbing his own hand.
(Keep in mind Tsunade's not dumb, she was trying to defeat him with one punch because if she drew blood from him it'd be all over.)

Tsunade’s a legend for a reason. Don’t forget she fought Kabuto after a decade+ of no training and drinking and STILL did serious damage. Madara? She WAS NOT IN HER PRIME! A 50 year old fighting him - and she was already super impressive. She’s got multiple elemental releases, unrivaled chakra control, high chakra levels, high durability, high tajutzu skills, and smarts!!... don’t underestimate the will of fire!

And you could argue that Madara had a lot of unfair advantages, for example having Rinnegan and being an immortal Edo Tensei. Madara at that point did not have Rinnegan when he was alive, only as an old man, and there were plenty of moments where Tsunade completely massacred Madara but he just stood up like it was nothing due to the Edo Tensei. So if it were a fair 1 vs 1 with a living Madara who only had EMS and perfect Susanoo, she probably would've won.

She would one punch literally anything plus her already good sensory ability thanks to her evasion training being a medical ninja, will be augmented by sage mode. She can dodge fast attacks with her sensory ability enhanced just like how Naruto dodged the 3rd raikage with his sage mode. If you add 8 gates then that would give her speed she'll be unstoppable she'll just tank everything you throw at her and speed blitz any enemy then land one punch ans they're dead

As a jonin and one of the sanin, it’s only natural that Tsunade knows how to perform the usual jutsu arsenal (ninjutsu, genjutsu and taijutsu), it’s just that she excels in taijutsu as it complements her superhuman strength. As a medic, she’s one of a few who can engage directly in battle because of her durable body and self-healing powers whereas, other medical-nin are not allowed to do so.
It's almost unfathomable how much chakra tsunade stores in her seal. A ninja with a massive amount of chakra can use all their chakra in one fight in a day and recover in a what a day or two probably? Tsunade already had a large amount of chakra due to lineage. For her to be putting some of that aside for even a few weeks would give her a massive amount but then a month, 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, a decade? She should literally have enough chakra, if she wasn’t healing thousands of people, to fight full out for at least a straight week without tiring, if not longer.

How op would the Uzumaki clan be if they didn't get ganged up on? Would they be stronger than the Uchiha? How strong would Naruto be with all the clan's secret techniques and hidden jutsu?
Seeing as Fuinjutsu is the most powerful of all the jutsu's, without it stopping Kaguya or Madara would've been impossible. Orochimaru even congratulated Kakashi for learning sealing techniques at such a young age. Naruto still wouldv'e been the most powerful shinobi without Karama. Sage mode along with S-rank sealing jutsu, ex reaper death seal.
The Uzumaki STILL wouldn't be nowhere near the level of The Uchiha.
A better question is how the Senju died out too. It's not like they lost the war with the Uchiha.

The Uchiha are by far the strongest clan in the series due to their power deriving from the God Tree.
@Darian Carmichel The Uchiha have been seen with the greatest feats but how strong were they really. Sasuke and Madara possessed the strongest possible Uchiha techniques and both lost to Hashirama and Naruto. Madara was so strong in the war arc primarily because he was modified to have Hashirama cells that ended up being the missing ingredient somehow to him awakening the Rinnegan. Almost all the major Uchiha lost in battle. Plus not all the Uchiha were capable of awakening the sharingan, let alone the mangekyo. The backstory says there were quite a number of Uchiha with the Mangekyo and they knew the procedure to obtain the Eternal Mangekyo yet they were still facing heavy casualties against the Senju.

She's stated to be the best in tai jutsu, can fight for more than a day until she runs out of chakra, even being bisected didn't stop her from healing others.

She's most definitely the most powerful kage of her time and having incredible strength in combat while actually being a medic is plain impressive.

Tsunade can whip part 1/2/3 Kakashi, plus you forgetting alot of stuff on the character. Jiraya "It was because of Tsunade's action we was able to win the 2nd war" the same war Lady Chiyo poison everybody. You can also say she was the reason they became known as the Sannin, because when they fought Hanzo, Tsunade/Orochimaru was cool Jiraya was on the verge of collapsing. Plus during this war there werent many medical ninjas, reason she made a plead to the village,but they was in middle of war and the training/resources would be a problem. Tsunade's striking/lifting strength is similar to Sage modes. but better since it's not time limit and she can heal from any wounds. Tsunade's summoning Katsuya is a beast able to spit acid slime, separate and reconstruct as well as heal. Jiraya "no one at the time, can match her combat/medical powers" stated to Naruto in the pub.
They are underestimating tsunade just because her character was treated poorly in the series but if you judge her by her actual abilities , you will see she can do better .

What if Tsunade with her 100 healings justu and Superior taijutsu strength learned to open the 8 Gates? Would her automatic healing be able to counter the damage?
Depending on the gates she opens. 1-7 gates would probably increase her speed to raikage level and physical strength combined with her hensei no jutsu (chakra enhanced strength), her damage would be similar to Sakura. But both Gates of death and Byakugou no jutsu wouldn't work together, because both of them shorten users life. After she uses gates of death, she won't be able to heal herself, cos all her cells are not able to doublicate themselves anymore, they are destroyed, burnt to ashes. Only Naruto with his Asura mark can heal such staff.
By the way I think the best extra power that suits her is slug sage mode. I believe that Hashirama owned that (there no proof), cos his marks where different from other users of sage mode.

Her durability is so strong she can drink more alcohol than anyone in the series and her mental strength is so strong that even after losing every gamble in her life and going thousands of dollars in debt she still had the strength to keep gambling
i think all underestimate katsuyus battle power, even orochimaru was frightend by her acid, and who know which kind of offensive combination she has with katsuyu

The creators did her dirty. She was a senju and uzumaki. We needed to see all her jutsus in the anime and not just her super strength
The healing power of her released seal neutralize the recoil damage from her attacks, allowing her to hit even harder than usual. She is not naturally durable like the Raikage, so she probably has to pull back on punches without constantly healing them.

Yup Sakura did surpass tsunade but point to be noted tsunade was at least 50 years old while Sakura is in her heyday if Sakura fought tsunade in her earlier day Sakura would be flat on the ground and what's more legendary about tsunade she was able to do some serious damage to another legendary sannin ( jiraiya) even if he was not fighting tsunade at full strength lol

Yess I've always loved Tsunade!! I felt heartbroken over her backstory and have loved her as a character since! And yes even Madara said she's stronger then the raikage but not as fast, and in filler it showed the only reason he won against her in a arm wrestle is because he cheated

Very much appreciate the overview and reasonable extrapolation (i.e. Fuinjutsu) of Tsunade's abilities in this video. Great work! One thing though: didn't Tsunade recover much of her chakra first through Dan and then by biting Karin? Yeah, she's a Senju and Uzumaki, which naturally gives her a ridiculous amount of chakra (her Seal honestly just being the tip of the iceberg), but it does make this 2:52 a little less impressive. Not a 100% sure though.
Yeah um you would be out of chakra two if you where fighting for hours healing 4 other people then using the 100 healins to go toe to toe with madara. Then summing a giant slug to heal the other kage.
I was always facinated with Tsunade. I have always believe she is the strongest of the 5 kage's and has so much more to offer. I like her and Unohana so much. Healers that has scary hidden combat skills. ❤❤❤

The idea behind Tsunade's grandmother possessing the reserve seal is nice, but it was said Tsunade invented it. Thus, it was simply modeled after it, which in turn is modeled after some hair on Buddha's forehead or something

I know I’m late to the comments but I’ve been rewatching all your naruto vids haha. I actually didn’t like Tsunade all that much until after rewatching the series as an adult. I never noticed how “human” Kishi made this character. For a man who isn’t all that great at writing female characters he did a brilliant job with Tsunade I feel. Also awesome video man.

They did her so bogus in those games... they even gave Sakura the strength of 100 markings when she powers up... but not Tsunade, the creator. Also her tilt move is garbage and her special isn't that flashy... she deserved better

Sakura supposedly has surpassed Tsunade per the anime, however I think this is only in combat. Tsunade is still the greatest medical ninja of All Time and Sakura has not shown any feats of surpassing Tsunade's medical prowess.....
During the fight with kabuto Tsunadae was also impaired due to hear fear of blood
One of my favorite kage.
Kishimoto should have given Tsunade both Wood Release & Senjutsu.
This could have her Senju heritage more helpful in her character development.
Same should have been done for Tobirama too.
A wood release Jutsu user becoming a Hokage could have made her the perfect choice for redeveloping & re-strengthening the Konoha.
Just like Yamato helped in recreating Konoha after Pain's assault.

Sadly we never get to see the Jutsu versatility Naruto was supposed to be based on but Kishimoto wanted to turn Naruto into another DBZ, Bleach or Yu Yu Hakusho and threw away any semblance that this show had about Ninjas, strategizing, characters displaying multi level Jutsus.
They instead became one dimensional spamming the same attacks over and over again.
