The 3rd Raikage is probably the strongest non-Konoha ninja in terms of lore and accomplishments. He was the most problematic revived character from the edo tensei next to Madara for the Shinobi Alliance (Pain and Itachi never encountered the SA) and was wrecking them like butter. They had zero answer to any of his techniques.

People ignoring that Minato himself stated that due to his inexperience in senjutsu he can't use it effectively . We've never seen him use Frog Strike and he isn't listed as a user of this particular technique either.

The third Raikage fought 10.000 shinobi for three days. Aside from this being one of the most badass feats in the Naruto-verse, the sheer amount of shinobi makes it likely that a fair amount of them have to be the badasses of the day like the Sannin and other Kage level characters (not to mention top jonin in the present time). Admittedly, it's not 100% certain, but would the other kage really send out that many nin without some really heavy hitters? No they would not. Not to mention, the third Raikage was the only kage of the day that could take on a tailed beast alone, without the use of seals, that's a list that includes the third Tsuchikage and the third Hokage, both significantly younger and more fit. A was an absolute monster.

He is easily the most accomplished ninja in terms of physical combat, speed, and lightning-based techniques in their respective universe history. No one else demonstrates that high caliber durability, attack potency, and intensity of lighting base techniques without the combination of other elements. Much less to the degree where he is able to manipulate the color and range of his secret techniques.
The fact that he got taken down by a clone means nothing, he got taken out by his own attack it took a Rasengan to place this guy's finger into his own chest. The guy died collapsing on his own attack while fighting the eight tails to a stalemate. The Clone argument is invalid!

naruto was able to fight in days cause he got sage mode + kurama cloak mode + six path but third raikage doesnt have any of this and he fought in three days and nights
I’d say he’s next under Hashirama , the guy literally had 1v1’s with Gyuuki , who never even came close to killing him, with the only damage incurred being that which was inflicted on himself by his own jutsu, the 8 TAILS was hit rival , kurama who’s thought to be twice as strong, was only ever able to be beaten in combat/subdued without the use of the Sharingane hax ability to control a bjuu, or sealing jutsu, by none other than Hashirama, who outright just puts him to sleep and doesn’t engage him for a long time, and he was considered the god of shinobi, Ai battled the 8 tails till they were both panting for air and on their stomachs with hardly any energy left, meaning that his chakra levels were comparable to the 8 tails , making hashirama roughly twice as strong, now to be for estimates sake, two times weaker than a shinobi who is renowned as a god among the shinobi of him time, that was unmatched in his era , while not having any Indra or asura reincarnation hax or being able to use sage mode, just pure chakra itself , is a feat and a half

Honestly I’ve been capping for this man for a long time now. He’s my favorite of the non-Leaf Kage. And easily one of my favorite kage period. I think he’s easily superior to KCM1 Naruto. He’s likely an equal or weaker than KCM2 Naruto.

Given that the rumor of the strongest Hokage, Kazekage, and Raikage are their thirds. It could very well be a lie or have build enough legend to be thought so. The third Tsukikage Ohnoki can easily be argued also to be the strongest Tsukikage given that he was 70+ yo already during the War Arc. The Third Raikage is definitely a beast tho.

He is pretty much indestructible. Minus the top tier 6 path/otsutski craziness, he would have to be right below hashirama and Madara. The third hokage is said to have been the strongest kage so maybe he can take him on. I’d also toss minato in the ring but only with sage mode. He just doesn’t have anything in his arsenal that we have seen that can damage the third raikage.

The whole cloud gets down played on how powerful they are. The 3rd could probably easily take down an unaltered Madara. Which is why Madara never darkened the hidden cloud doorsteps.
The 3rd Raikage is the only known character to have regularly fought and subdued a tailed beast. Madara could hypnotize them and Hashirama could capture them by draining their chakra with his wood release, but neither of them could run the fade with a tailed beast and come out with a W.
He is also the only character without an L. He died of exhaustion so the only one who could beat him was himself, hell Naruto needed the 4th to stab himself in order to stop him.

1) The Hidden Cloud has never lost a war against Konoha
2) The Hidden Leaf did not retaliate after the Hidden Cloud killed Tobirama, even though the coup was an obvious set up to take down the Hokage.
3) The Hidden Leaf did not retaliate after the Hidden Cloud attempted to kidnap Hinata, even though they had proof.
4) The one time you see the Hidden Cloud face the Hidden Leaf in the 3rd War, the Hidden Leaf was told to fall back. FYI if the fight continued Minato would have died.
5) The one time a tailed beast got loose in the Hidden Leaf, the village suffered massive casualties and with their two Hokages they still could barely seal Karama. 6) The Hidden Cloud was able to tame both of their tailed beast, as well as taught the hidden leaf how to tame theirs

8) The Hidden Cloud 3rd Raikage is the only person in the Narutoverse to face 10,000 people (from all villages) solo and only loss because he ran out of chakra

It really depends on the strength of the S-class shinobi. Some S-class shinobi can take out 1000s. On the other hand, with 10,000 ninja, there is bound to be a mix of genin, chunin, and jonin. If there were even 1000 jonin in that 10,000, that is ridiculous.
Blunt Sensei not saying Tobi was stronger than the third, but I think the two are comparable. We’re talking 20 akatsuki level Shinobi including two tailed beast chakra guys here.

@@gavindang6805 No they were not weakend or injured but their guard was down because it was an ambush. Kinkaku and Ginkaku killed the 2nd Raikage in this skirmish and seized control of the Hidden Cloud village for a short time.

His body flicker is also one of the fastest ever, and he was hailed as the fastest shinobi of his era, even with powerhouses like Madara and Hashirama alive. He also reacted to an attack from alive rinnegan sage mode Madara. The same Madara who sent a limbo clone across the battle field and knocked the bijuu down so fast, Kurama couldn't even finish his sentence. So no, the 3rd shouldn't be faster than Tobirama, however his speed is impressive.

Piccolo The namek god of bitches yes but it was only the weaker version. The Ten Tails second form Bijuu bomb was over 5 times larger then the one that hit the eight tails also the Nine Tails shared some of the damage so that’s also a factor

I think 10,000 regular shinobi is greater cause it’s too many people and you need allot of stamina. I might be wrong but third raikage is beating tobirama but not by that much.

In terms of versatility tobirama is better while in terms of pure might Third Raikage has it kinda like skill vs strength. Personally I don't know where exactly I'd place Raikage but it's gonna have to be below Hashirama but abovt all jonnin besides Guy and Sasuke. Though he's definitely in the upper part of the kage.

Thing that gets me all the time. He fought for 3 whole days to protect his comrades , how come reinforcements couldn’t come to help save him.
no airplanes? People run everywhere. depending where they were in enemy territory it could have been a week or more from home. Shinobi regularly talk about having 1 or 2 weeks of travel home after a mission. Also, if they were in enemy territory during a war they can't just run in a straight path home to get help. There isn't a wall of enemies behind them and an open road to home. During war all borders would be heavily guarded and enemies retreating from your own territory would be attacked and captured or killed.
Tbh he wud wreck most Shinobi ... dude had body hacks! And if it's hard to even damage him ... much less to be able to match his speed... his Chakra levels definitely wud need to be tail beast levels...

the only insane thing is that he kept up with hachibi even tho a tailed beast just shoots his power arounds and does not focus and controll it and the 10k or 1k shinobi's he fought against aint really insane too, bc look at the shinobi alliance. look at the fight against gengetsu, they were completely trash xd.

@@karma1507 The only Justsu Jiraiya could hold him with would be the sage art Gamarinsho, and thats if his Raiton doesn't jolt him out of it. This is of course if he even summons Ma and Pa toad and was given time to even merge for sage mode.

Yeah, kishimoto REALLY should have properly planned out and gauged their strength far before he wrote in their deaths like this because tobirama's death makes no sense and neither does hashirama but least for him we don't know exactly how he died.
I like to think that hashirama died due to overuse of his healing Chakra. Same way Tsunada can't use her healing consistently else it'll kill her
And his body didn't receive any scars from that, the only scar he got was from himself. Now I'm surprised he wasn't an escanor and just prided himself on it. Imma just be honest I doubt he died to the ninjas probably died of hunger/thirst.
