- Orochimaru was introduced as the first major threat in the Naruto series, being so powerful and so evil that the third hokage attempted to seal his soul away, but only managed to seal away Orochimaru's ability to weave hand signs for his jutsu. However, how strong is the legendary sannin in the Boruto era? Is he stronger than he was at the end of Naruto Shippuden? Has he grown weaker or is he closer to the power of Hashirama Senju than we might believe?

@honobu yonezawa he wasn’t nearly as quick witted as itachi that’s true but he had more overall knowledge than itachi, he know about kaguya, 6paths, kaguya clan, otsutsuki, etc. before pretty much everyone else.
If Orochimaru wants to master all jutsu, then he's eventually going to have to learn the sexy jutsu from Naruto.

I also wouldnt be surprise if his "son" was his master plan to be his next vessel plus if he took over his body he would have sage mode then. In alot a ways hes like mayuri from bleach hes sadistic for his own purposes he could help the heroes at one point but also turn on them if it helps him with his constant research and to develop or master new jutsu

Orochimaru is the only one that has ever achieved true immortality, and is currently in his real prime, he‘s re-surpassed Kabuto in the war arc, Im guessing his current power is very close to Naruto and Sasuke, if not on par, and the most frightening thing is that he has unlimited time and potential to keep reaching new heights, Im betting he will be the only human to ever reach Osutsuki level~

Mitsuki was named after "Tsuki" (杯, Literally meaning: Vessel) and the sixth sign of the Chinese zodiac calendar, "Mi" (巳, Literally meaning: Snake) then you have "Mitsuki" (巳月, Mitsuki) by replacing the second character with "Tsuki" (月, Literally meaning: Moon).
So part 1 Orochimaru scaled a little below full power Hiruzen and Boruto era Orochimaru scales closer to Hashirama than any other Kage. He sure came a long way

We can't really argue against many of facts and feats orochimaru's done here. Technically he is still growing stronger if we look at what he has done in the past. He probably has DNA samples of just about everyone, even all the new kids in Boruto. He possibly could be immortal....well since Naruto himself stated he looked younger to him since the last time he saw him, he might possibly be already. Think about that. All you have to do is wait people out. No need to fight or do things by force....eventually they will die. All he has to do is collect samples. Plus, if you try him he can put you away in host of different ways with his fighting abilities and several different techniques.....and then still make you an experiment. Remember how casually he killed Garas father. He is actually a pretty scary character. One so scary the writers can't really think of how to kill him.

Orochimaru Clearly is the most powerful, wise, and gifted only in comparison to itachi. Comparing the two; one has 1 focus (Itachi) while the other has multiple (Orochi), We haven’t seen his full power and no one pushed his limit of interest to do so, not to mention none of the bodies he processes can handle his true power. He also rather give his foe the upper hand to see how fascinating they can be. He can escape any situation.. even still found his way to keep living outside of being sealed by itachi which to itachi was considered the only way of stoping him (Orchi). And the final war with Madara He was unfazed by the battle and was more fixed on his own path at the time. They’re so many indications hinting towards how great he is and how stronger he gets with knowledge there’s a reason the hokages who all meet him give him praise he’s the biggest threat Overall, So much more to say.

I'm about 99% positive, despite Sage Kabuto being FAR STRONGER than what people assume, Orochimaru is still superior due to having continued with his training and research, but also having had several amps granted to him during the time he fought in the 4th War.

In terms of Power after the past few years, I know he can now be a Godlike, his knowledge is a plus, he can invent new jutsus even a forbidden jutsu... He can regenerate too fast so even if you are stronger than him you still can't kill him unless you are Sasuke or just like Sasuke, you also know how to seal him. Even Sasuke admitted that he managed to seal him because he is weak and sick at that time...

ClUtCH Papie I love them two. Orochimaru is my fav old character while Mitsuki is my fav new character. Mitsuki is a great character because he’s really kind and non-threatening (opposite of Orochimaru) but also a super strong prodigy with even more potential to grow as a human/shinobi.

The most powerful jutsu in the shinoby world was Orocimaru creation - Paralising jutsu... He used it against Hiruzen, against Anco, againts Sasuke, against Kakashi(2 times) and I can't remember others at the moment - but the point you get is clear... Paralising Fear jutsu was one over the top killing justsu (not shity rasengan and clones)... just he always chooses not to use it for kill but to impress his opponents only and flee away.

Z A K the reason he couldn't master sage mode was because his current body was too weak. But now he's completely made up of Hashirama cells and white zetsu's body is honestly no joke. Sage mode definitely isn't off the table especially since his base is stronger than Kabuto.
There's a recent episode where Orochimaru shows up to save the day against someone who's supposed to be Jounin+ level... and the lady just gets deleted. Like... 1/10 of a second *poof*'d. :) So satisfying to see Orochimaru who a sliver how just how strong he is in that moment.

Lord Orochimaru is my favourite anime character of all time. He's so weird, creepy, enthralling, and has such incredible presence. His theme music was top notch. Gives me chills every time he comes up in Naruto! I'm not sure why people underestimate him so much, probably because they used him as comic relief in a lot of filler and at the end of Shippuden.
He got what he wanted and has been laying low since, and it's definitely not because he's scared of Konoha. I think he really did have a change of heart after dying and seeing how Kabuto was destroyed by power(power that Orochimaru literally stole back in seconds). I would very much like to see more of his capabilities in the future 🖤🐍

And Jiraiya's wounds were consistent with what happens when flesh touches the 4tails chakra cloak. Jiraiya was drugged prior to the fight by tsunade and was mostly in base and tsuande was literally afraid of blood and wanted to take no part into the fight
James Ali however orochimaru had no ninjitsu no genjutsu and barley and taijustu and was still finessing both of them

@@tmd-w1552 The fight was never shown and Gaara beat his father with little effort so based off that we can assume Gaara is stronger. But a large part of the fight depends on whether Orochimaru uses staked edo tensei's.
