Most impressive thing to me is, that Might Guy Literally has to figure out everything by himself. How to Train, and how to open the 8 gates. he had no real Master who teached him all the skills he has now unlike all the others on the show.
That’s why he’s one of the best characters in my opinion. No special powers, no natural born talent, no great teachers to learn from, he’s not ninja Jesus, he didn’t have a tailed beast sealed in him, wasn’t the son of a Hokage or had a special bloodline/wasn’t from a strong and famous clan. All his accomplishments came from hard work.

Most people also don't mention that when Guy kicked Jiraiya, he thought it was Itachi. The reason why this is significant is that he was willing to go in alone to fight him, it means he was confident he could beat him and maybe even Kisami too on his own. I thought Guy was as goofy as he was tough, thus he was easily Sainin level and tougher than most Kages.

Do people really doubt how powerful Gai is? We are talking about a regular ninja who was able to stand in the middle of a battle between genius Sharingan masters, A toad sage, and a few Bijuu. And was literally almost the deciding factor in the battle. Gai with simply one enhancement (Sharingan, Byakugan, shit Ten tens tools) would be beyond a Madara level threat

Kakashi can only open the 1st gate. Dosent train hard enough. Expecailly at his current age. Better chance of Cho Cho learning it.

So definitely Sakura. Imagine if the damage from the 8th gate could be healed with the Mitotic Regeneration. I believe the added Chakra from the 8 gates would synergize well with the Byakugou Seal. If Tsunade can survive the time space warp with just her regen I think they could survive the stress from at least the 7 Gate. Not even to mention adding the strength of the gates with her Chakra enhanced strikes. 100 times Sakura's base, if the Eight Gate strength increase was apply to Sakura's already arguable 7th gate strength would easily bring her to like Mid God Tier

I think Sakura could benefit the most by adding her 100 healings mark to it so could reap the Benefits of the inner gets but also have a constant healing of her body negating the damage done.

2. I think people will hate me for this, but I want either Sakura or Sarada to learn the 8 gates. Mainly because I feel like it should go to other taijutsu users. Her speed increase alone would make her dangerous just by training with Guy in base mode.
3. How DID Guy train the 8 gates if the gate of death kills you? How was he able to perfect his gate-only techniques?
He either winged it from what he saw of Might Duy using it, practiced up to the seventh gate, or both.

I would of loved to see Neji learn the inner gates up to 4 or 6. I think the inner Gates with the Hyuga abilities would be nice especially the way Neji would have use them. It would of been nice to see both Neji and Lee opening the inner gates at the same time to take down a strong opponent but using it differently

I'd personally like to see Tenten with the 8 gates. I don't think it would make any difference, it'd be hikarious.

Honestly, might guy vs madara proves a point that og naruto failed to capitalize on, the power of hard work. Guy is a jonin level shinobi who has neither ninjutsu, nor genjutsu, and eventually was acknowledged by someone in par with the god of shinobi as the strongest, and that is why the message of early naruto was proven in this fight.

Lee! Outside of gai lee is the most underrated yet lovable in the whole bang bang. His development is ducking crazy.

Imagine 100 healings jutsu combined with Sage mode, AND the gates, the durability of a sage mode enhanced 100 healings would probably be enough to chill at 7 gates and survive a significant time usegae of the 8 gates, just imagine how op anyone would be with sage mode AND Tsunade punch amp, and top of 7th-8th gate. There is no difference in power between perfect and imperfect sage mode. The only difference is that imperfect sage mode has toad features and perfect doesn't. There is no evidence to support that perfect is stronger than imperfect.

@@stevencraigie5994 Jiraiya didn't know about the other bodies and let his guard down after defeating the 3 paths. This is mentioned by Pain himself in ch.383. Naruto caused the 3rd Raikage to hit himself with his own one finger stab technique. It's not like Naruto overpowered him. He beat the 3rd with Intel, something Jiraiya lacked in his fight with Pain.

Tsunade and Sakura should definitely learn the 8 gates. Their 100 healings seals could heal them simultaneously and they could continue to wreak havoc for far longer than Guy could. If Sakura or Tsunade broke a bone they could just heal it and maybe survive the 8th gate by fully releasing the seal on their foreheads. This would give them both added value which is much needed for them in the Boruto series if Sasuke and Naruto are going to have any help.
They don't have what the most important rule to learn 8 gate.
