I'm not so quick to jump on the space laser train but this isn't the first time we've seen fire demolish building while leaving the trees standing next to the rubble. I want to understand this phenomenon.

Though you can clearly see most of the trees in the fires path were burned to a crisp, some of those trees absorb and hold so much water due to the environment that it would be hard to totally burn them down unless targeted for long periods of time. That said, structures are hollow, allow a lot of air flow and of course the materials will all ignite near instantly. Insolation, interior curtains, etc. Structures stand zero chance, but hard wood trees and palm trees are much more resilient than a hollow structure. It's mostly just in understanding the building materials. I hope that helped!
I'm from a place that has many high wind wild brush fires in summer. First of all, almost ALL are started by people. 2nd, when the fire spreads it CAN miss spots, but the places in LaHaina that burned look absolutely incinerated and THAT is unusual to be right next door to an absolutely untouched spot. And buildings very rarely burn all the way down to the ground like that. How on earth did it spread in that parrticular, peculiar, way, over cement? It makes no sense. 🤷 and I've seen MANY raging fires & grass fires & property damage- but there's something QUITE ODD about the patterns here! It actually looks bombed.
My thoughts exactly. Why are homes burned to the ground and are ash, but the teees adjacent to them are still standing. Why didn’t the trees burn to the ground? It looks like there was an accelerant on the homes and cars that are completely burned out. Those poor people. May God bless them through all of us helping them, but not through the Red Cross or any of those large organizations who will eat up the donations in their administrative costs. At 01:52 you can get a good look at the Kingdom Hall. There is a gentleman who filmed his entire experience escaping the flames who parked his van at the Kingdom Hall and then walked the beach out of danger. You can see that his van must have survived because it is not burned in the parking lot. If you want to watch the video look up "Jonathan Herzog Maui Lahaina Wild Fire Escape" on UA-cam. It is one of the best I have seen that shows the terror of that day.

As an ex-firefighter, I can tell you that immediately I can see many irregularities. The fire, if completely left to itself, would have consumed everything right up to the sea. Yet I see several very expensive-looking mansions left completely untouched, but surrounded by smaller dwellings burnt to the ground. Some small dwellings are burnt to the ground, yet completely surrounded by larger buildings that are completely untouched by the fire. There is a large area of expensive-looking houses completely untouched, right next to a community of smaller dwellings that are burnt to the ground, as if an imaginary line is drawn between the two areas. This needs a thorough investigation, as something is afoot. God bless the poor families affected by this terrible event. May justice prevail.

Indigenous people, federally in the US have protected rights. There is nothing to stop the Elders on Maui to be present amongst the Fema or Gov agencies that has cordoned off areas of the Island. Being a Fire Marshal for many years, I see many disturbing things here. First of all, the burn paths (patterns) are very irregular. A fire doesn't go from house and skip the neighbors house and get yours. Tornados do that. Houses that were burned to ashes by very intense heat and flames and houses 20 feet away the tree leaves and grass are not even singed. I hope the people there doesn't stop until they get to the bottom of this fire.
California here. You know i thought it was strange when we had our houses turned to powder and yet the trees sometimes only feet away remained green. To now see an exact replica of our residential remains is more than just a little suspicious. The fires in Chile didn’t look like that. Heartbreaking. I am not a firefighter, but common sense tells me a wildfire urged on by hurricane force winds does not stop to skip a house or hotel and decimate the remainder of the neighborhood. That's not common sense. Just do a quick internet search of wild fires to see homes standing, surrounded by homes and properties burned to ash. It's common that fire doesn't burn everything. It does skip things based on conditions and luck.

I live just north of Lahaina and I can tell you that the neighborhood in the north part of town that is entirely untouched, visible in this video, is called Kahoma Village and it is new construction. It was made with high quality modern materials for its roofing & construction, which for sure ensured its safety. The conspiracy theories are ridiculous. Our region on the leeward west side of Maui is VERY vulnerable to fires, they happen every year in the dry foothills of the West Maui mountains. Generally they are manageable when there are not high winds, but when the winds are strong and blow in the direction of homes, homes do burn down. All of us living along the West Maui coast are vulnerable to these fires that happen in the dry former sugar cane lands. There is no need for any conspiracy theories to explain these fires, and why some neighborhoods survived and some did not.

I am responding to hopefully push this video out to more people. Please watch the whole thing undistracted and imagine what you would feel like if this was your home. This is truly awful and should not have happened the way it did. Don't stop pushing for more investigations. I don't know what happened, but there are far too many "mistakes" for this to just be a tragedy. This is criminal. Edited to add: I am an activist and will help you in the near future. This breaks my heart so deeply. I am from the mainland, but have been so privileged to visit the beautiful islands of Hawaii 3 times and loving Maui the most. I spent a lot of time in Lahaina and to see the devastation is almost too much to bear! My heart goes out to these beautiful people who never deserved such destruction and pain! May God watch over all the sweet souls who perished and all the missing! May God bring peace to those whose loved ones are left behind, and may the rebuild give Maui and it’s people something to look forward to in such a devastating time! I in no way mean to disrespect those souls lost,tragic,but there was a street where many in cars were told to go back towards the fire,they showed video of lines of unopened car doors of burned cars,meaning those souls did not leave thier car,they seem to be removed,hopefully for identification purposes, May God give those who survived this horrific event,stenghth,hope and peace.and most of all justice, to the victims.
I've watched this heart-breaking drone video of Lahaina several times. I noticed that many of the buildings that were untouched by the fires had solar panels on their roofs. (ex: The large hotel with the red roof covered in solar panels: "Shores Beach Resort".) Could it be that the solar panels act like a mirror, reflecting the blue sky, and thereby deflecting the lasers? I also noticed quite a number of green objects seemed untouched (ex. a large propane tank). Could this be due to the color blue being a component of the color green? Hopefully someone can answer these questions.

If this area had been a forest then I could understand how this kind of “wild fire” would wipe out an entire town. But…how? None of this makes any sense!
Hurricane winds, flying embers, gas lines erupting, fire hydrants not working, drought and extreme temperatures… Downed power lines is the leading theory but in my opinion it had to start in multiple areas to grow that large. Speculating does not solve anything sadly, but I think this very well could have been a human caused wildfire due to negligence by the government in overseeing infrastructure. Plus negligent police and other government officials on decision making during extreme emergencies. Whatever the cause, potentially over 1,000 people may have died… I am heartbroken for those in Lahaina and I will listen to them. They know their truth and I have faith that they will tell their stories when they are ready.
Haunting, those images are and will ever be. Inexplicable how among many burned buildings, a house or business here or there appear untouched. I think it's safe to say that all Americans, especially those of us who have been to Lahaina, grieve with you over this enormous loss. Hello, it is so odd how fire is, some structures were skipped while those right beside were burned, almost like it picks what it is going to burn. But I'm so sorry you all had to go thru this, and it's very cool Eric & friends, that you are spreading awareness. I haven't seen any vids about native Hawaiians and what they feel & think, will you make some? Maybe I missed them. Here in BC, Canada, we had a bad uncontrollable fire in the area Adam's Lake & it spread to North Shuswap. It's a huge lake where we go camping every year. They had the exact same situation as you all. The police wouldn't let them pass on the highway, and they wouldn't let those bringing in supplies by boat go through. It's just devastating. How can the same things happen on different parts of the world at the exact same time, same situation. And those cars burning like that with no burnable ground around them, that really makes one think, esp. with all this UAF stuff goin on. I believe that could happen or some contracted people did it to start fires or they are sending a message that they are here. Only theories now. You should keep the mobile phone get it tested or take dirt samples and car samples keep them stored away for evidence later. It’s still surreal to me. I’ve been to Maui 8 times since my honeymoon in 2013 and it’s always been a special place to us. The people and the culture, the food. We’ve spent two Halloweens there on front street and it’s was the best of times! My son has grown up going there. Our thoughts and prayers for all those affected, especially the children. 😢 I hope everyone will be taken care of properly. With all the billionaires that go there or live there, and our government that has billions to give to other countries. We shouldn’t have a problem getting everyone the help they need. 🙌

My mom, niece, and I drove past Wahikuli, and what went through me was shock. I didn't expect to, but I was bawling. I was mourning for Maui. Everything and every place that I grew up knowing and going to often is no more. But more than the places, so many people gone. My heart is hurting. Thank you to the person or people who shot this video. I am fully convinced that days of gold are ahead for Maui and her residents.

A few days after, my family were low on supplies and weren't able to rely on the drop offs at Honokowai Park. I took three big bags strapped to my motorcycle to head to Kahului. I was struck with overwhelming sorrow while passing Hawaiian homes and Waihikuli, I had to pull over and just sob. Couldn't believe my eyes.
I find it amazing how random buildings survived the fire even though they were right in the middle of the burn zone, maybe it was the roofing materials and the fencing that surrounded a property that made the difference. The drone work was perfect . May God wrap His arms around the people of Lahaina, and I pray that the residents overcome this trying time. This song touches the heart and soul. Maui was the island I visited on my very first trip to Hawai’i. I fell in love with the island, the small towns, (Lahaina included), the people, the culture . The hospitality everywhere I went always felt like a warm embrace, like everyone was part of one big Ohana. I am so sorry that this happened to the lovely people of Lahaina. Sending the warmest of hugs to all the people who have lost someone, something, and/or are still searching for family.
So there's a lot of different knowledge fields you'd need to fully understand how such a result could occur but I'll try help. Buildings create a unique wind flow system compared to nature, this is studied in cities and is known to affect temperatures and wind patterns. The flames wouldn't flow across evenly like a wave, certain wind paths would be created that save some buildings.

I figured these weird fires out. If they are geo engineering by spraying nano particles of aluminum what they are creating is thermite reactions....thats how everything is burning at such high temperatures and turning metal to powder and white dust.
As I recall, there was also a strange wind that accompanied those fires in California that burned in a very strange manner. I think whatever they use, that is part of it and they used the hurricane as an excuse or as a cover. I think your project to pay the mortgages off is a great idea. Wow, this video REALLY shows the devastation in Maui. I am dumbfounded that there are no authorities or military aid conducting any type of survey of search. Why are they just abandoning the city? Watching you walk through Front Street sharing how wonderful Lahaina is & sharing it's beauty. It's gut wrenching & I don't live there. I can't image how difficult this must be for you & your family. Rest In Peace to those who perished. I still want to know how those were killed by fire whilst in the ocean ? If water can put out fire… then how was over 80 bodies washed up on shore? Then on top of that how was only certain parts touched and others weren’t? Like the right side of the island is completely destroyed yet certain homes are still standing whilst other homes surrounding it are completely gone. This looks more like a sacrifice than a wild fire. Especially when you see the pictures of the fire around the island, it was a complete circle. Even on water… that’s weird as hell.
How can it burn in perfect squares melt cars on property, and not melt the ashfalt on the roads. How can this be anything other than man made fire. Even the property at the beginning of the footage where it didn’t burn in an perfect angle of a property left untouched by fire. This is not natural.
You have not seen the base of an office chair burn like a welder's torch. Because there is Magnesium in the Aluminum. Once it manages to ignite it is a very intense fire. Only on the base. So similar things happened in Lahaina too - the materials themselves can burn but the surrounding areas seem to be affected very little. From what I saw in my few visits to Lahaina the last few years most buildings looked like flimsy build 1970s structures with ageing facades etc. Yes they will readily burn while a tree nearby will burn but still stand.

theyre building 15 min cities all over canada, meaning you can walk to anything you need within 15mins....its not good because they want everyone in these cities, in high rises condos apartments etc etc. the reason the fires are happening all over the forests and off grid areas are because the government wants everyone to be UNABLE to live in the forests, or farms, they want us all huddles into these 15min cities, by the way these new condos and apartments theyre building in the 15 min cities, have NO PARKING meaning they want us all to walk or bike to get what we we need, trouble with this is its total government control. google it, many are opposed to this bullshit idea. these fires are NOT climate change, theyre INTENTIONAL.
I'm not so quick to jump on the space laser train but this isn't the first time we've seen fire demolish building while leaving the trees standing next to the rubble. I want to understand this phenomenon.

Though you can clearly see most of the trees in the fires path were burned to a crisp, some of those trees absorb and hold so much water due to the environment that it would be hard to totally burn them down unless targeted for long periods of time. That said, structures are hollow, allow a lot of air flow and of course the materials will all ignite near instantly. Insolation, interior curtains, etc. Structures stand zero chance, but hard wood trees and palm trees are much more resilient than a hollow structure. It's mostly just in understanding the building materials. I hope that helped!

First of all, almost ALL are started by people. 2nd, when the fire spreads it CAN miss spots, but the places in LaHaina that burned look absolutely incinerated and THAT is unusual to be right next door to an absolutely untouched spot. And buildings very rarely burn all the way down to the ground like that. How on earth did it spread in that parrticular, peculiar, way, over cement? It makes no sense. 🤷 and I've seen MANY raging fires & grass fires & property damage- but there's something QUITE ODD about the patterns here! It actually looks bombed.

My thoughts exactly. Why are homes burned to the ground and are ash, but the teees adjacent to them are still standing. Why didn’t the trees burn to the ground? It looks like there was an accelerant on the homes and cars that are completely burned out. Those poor people. May God bless them through all of us helping them, but not through the Red Cross or any of those large organizations who will eat up the donations in their administrative costs. At 01:52 you can get a good look at the Kingdom Hall. There is a gentleman who filmed his entire experience escaping the flames who parked his van at the Kingdom Hall and then walked the beach out of danger. You can see that his van must have survived because it is not burned in the parking lot. If you want to watch the video look up "Jonathan Herzog Maui Lahaina Wild Fire Escape" on UA-cam. As an ex-firefighter, I can tell you that immediately I can see many irregularities. The fire, if completely left to itself, would have consumed everything right up to the sea. Yet I see several very expensive-looking mansions left completely untouched, but surrounded by smaller dwellings burnt to the ground. Some small dwellings are burnt to the ground, yet completely surrounded by larger buildings that are completely untouched by the fire. There is a large area of expensive-looking houses completely untouched, right next to a community of smaller dwellings that are burnt to the ground, as if an imaginary line is drawn between the two areas. This needs a thorough investigation, as something is afoot. God bless the poor families affected by this terrible event. May justice prevail.

Being a Fire Marshal for many years, I see many disturbing things here. First of all, the burn paths (patterns) are very irregular. A fire doesn't go from house and skip the neighbors house and get yours. Tornados do that. Houses that were burned to ashes by very intense heat and flames and houses 20 feet away the tree leaves and grass are not even singed. I hope the people there doesn't stop until they get to the bottom of this fire.

California here. You know i thought it was strange when we had our houses turned to powder and yet the trees sometimes only feet away remained green. Heartbreaking. I am not a firefighter, but common sense tells me a wildfire urged on by hurricane force winds does not stop to skip a house or hotel and decimate the remainder of the neighborhood. I live just north of Lahaina and I can tell you that the neighborhood in the north part of town that is entirely untouched, visible in this video, is called Kahoma Village and it is new construction. It was made with high quality modern materials for its roofing & construction, which for sure ensured its safety. The conspiracy theories are ridiculous. Our region on the leeward west side of Maui is VERY vulnerable to fires, they happen every year in the dry foothills of the West Maui mountains. Generally they are manageable when there are not high winds, but when the winds are strong and blow in the direction of homes, homes do burn down. All of us living along the West Maui coast are vulnerable to these fires that happen in the dry former sugar cane lands. There is no need for any conspiracy theories to explain these fires, and why some neighborhoods survived and some did not.

Definitely, there is a need to hire private investigators to work for the people on this, as there is much more to the underlying cause of this tragedy. I've watched this heart-breaking drone video of Lahaina several times. I noticed that many of the buildings that were untouched by the fires had solar panels on their roofs. (ex: The large hotel with the red roof covered in solar panels: "Shores Beach Resort".) Could it be that the solar panels act like a mirror, reflecting the blue sky, and thereby deflecting the lasers? I also noticed quite a number of green objects seemed untouched (ex. a large propane tank). Could this be due to the color blue being a component of the color green? Hopefully someone can answer these questions.

Hurricane winds, flying embers, gas lines erupting, fire hydrants not working, drought and extreme temperatures… Downed power lines is the leading theory but in my opinion it had to start in multiple areas to grow that large. Speculating does not solve anything sadly, but I think this very well could have been a human caused wildfire due to negligence by the government in overseeing infrastructure. Plus negligent police and other government officials on decision making during extreme emergencies.
Whatever the cause, potentially over 1,000 people may have died… I am heartbroken for those in Lahaina and I will listen to them. They know their truth and I have faith that they will tell their stories when they are ready.
Haunting, those images are and will ever be. Inexplicable how among many burned buildings, a house or business here or there appear untouched. I think it's safe to say that all Americans, especially those of us who have been to Lahaina, grieve with you over this enormous loss. The burn patterns _are_ in fact quite irregular and inconsistent with what one would expect from a natural fire. Moreover, photos show pools of molten metal coming from parked cars. Since when did natural fires burn hot enough to liquefy metal?! These oddities - among many others - give ample reason to conclude D.E.W. systems were used.

Hello, it is so odd how fire is, some structures were skipped while those right beside were burned, almost like it picks what it is going to burn. Here in BC, Canada, we had a bad uncontrollable fire in the area Adam's Lake & it spread to North Shuswap. It's a huge lake where we go camping every year. It’s still surreal to me. I’ve been to Maui 8 times since my honeymoon in 2013 and it’s always been a special place to us. The people and the culture, the food. We’ve spent two Halloweens there on front street and it’s was the best of times! My son has grown up going there. My mom, niece, and I drove past Wahikuli, and what went through me was shock. I didn't expect to, but I was bawling. I was mourning for Maui. A few days after, my family were low on supplies and weren't able to rely on the drop offs at Honokowai Park. I took three big bags strapped to my motorcycle to head to Kahului.
I was struck with overwhelming sorrow while passing Hawaiian homes and Waihikuli, I had to pull over and just sob. Couldn't believe my eyes.
Praying for all those involved to find peace and comfort in the difficult times. 🙏
I find it amazing how random buildings survived the fire even though they were right in the middle of the burn zone, maybe it was the roofing materials and the fencing that surrounded a property that made the difference. The drone work was perfect . May God wrap His arms around the people of Lahaina, and I pray that the residents overcome this trying time. This song touches the heart and soul. Maui was the island I visited on my very first trip to Hawai’i. I fell in love with the island, the small towns, (Lahaina included), the people, the culture . The hospitality everywhere I went always felt like a warm embrace, like everyone was part of one big Ohana. I am so sorry that this happened to the lovely people of Lahaina. That's just the way it is with fires blown by strong winds. Something similar happens with tornado damage.
So there's a lot of different knowledge fields you'd need to fully understand how such a result could occur but I'll try help. Buildings create a unique wind flow system compared to nature, this is studied in cities and is known to affect temperatures and wind patterns. The flames wouldn't flow across evenly like a wave, certain wind paths would be created that save some buildings.

As I recall, there was also a strange wind that accompanied those fires in California that burned in a very strange manner. I think whatever they use, that is part of it and they used the hurricane as an excuse or as a cover. I think your project to pay the mortgages off is a great idea. I'm just thinking that part of the reason for blocking people in with so there wouldn't be anybody left to pay off the mortgages. Wow, this video REALLY shows the devastation in Maui. I am dumbfounded that there are no authorities or military aid conducting any type of survey of search. Why are they just abandoning the city? I’m sure the friends and families of the 1,000+ missing persons on the island are wondering what happened to their loved ones. Why is there no urgency?
On a side note, what drone was used for this video? The range of the drone is impressive!

I still want to know how those were killed by fire whilst in the ocean ? If water can put out fire… then how was over 80 bodies washed up on shore? Then on top of that how was only certain parts touched and others weren’t? Like the right side of the island is completely destroyed yet certain homes are still standing whilst other homes surrounding it are completely gone. This looks more like a sacrifice than a wild fire. Especially when you see the pictures of the fire around the island, it was a complete circle. Even on water… that’s weird as hell.
How can it burn in perfect squares melt cars on property, and not melt the ashfalt on the roads. How can this be anything other than man made fire. Even the property at the beginning of the footage where it didn’t burn in an perfect angle of a property left untouched by fire. This is not natural.

You have not seen the base of an office chair burn like a welder's torch. Because there is Magnesium in the Aluminum. Once it manages to ignite it is a very intense fire. Only on the base. So similar things happened in Lahaina too - the materials themselves can burn but the surrounding areas seem to be affected very little. From what I saw in my few visits to Lahaina the last few years most buildings looked like flimsy build 1970s structures with ageing facades etc. Yes they will readily burn while a tree nearby will burn but still stand.

Ahh yes, i love how selective the fire was when destroying the town. It doesnt strike anyone as odd that the houses that are "Nice" are pretty much completely unscathed while everything else around them is in ruin? Hmm. Very Very Interesting.

Nothing odd about it. The hotel is reinforced concrete, which doesn't burn when it's hit by glowing-hot embers. Conversely, wooden buildings do burn.
Homes burned to the ground to ash and a tree next to it still green. No way. I pray that those who are responsible for this are held accountable. This wasn't a 'wildfire' out of control. This looks like a very 'controlled' burn.
It is so weird how there was so much destruction on the houses but there's still green trees
