That's amazing! I splurged. I flew down to Texas and booked a fancy yurt in the Hill Country. It was cloudy but still got lucky and was able to capture the totality.
I was so lucky, I just live 12 miles from the cross of the two eclipses in southern IL. Was able to see over 4 minutes from our city park. 1/4 mile from my house so no traffic or anything.
