  • Seattle Seahawks cornerback uses his post-game interview with Erin Andrews to rip San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree.
    Sherman: "Well I'm the best corner in the game! When you try me with a sorry receiver like Crabtree, that's the result you gonna get. DON'T YOU EVER TALK ABOUT ME!"
    Andrews: "Who was talking about you?"
    Sherman: "CRABTREE! Don't you open your mouth about the best or I'm a shut it for you real quick. LOB."

    @Shakester71 9 років тому +84

    As a 49ers fan, my initial reaction was that I was upset but after a while, I thought to myself...was he lying? Is he the best corner in the game? Its a matter of opinion, but I think most people would agree that he's ONE of the best in the league. Is Crabtree a sorry ass receiver? Well, he's not a great receiver and Sherman didn't lie when he called him a mediocre one which Crabtree is. He displayed poor sportsmanship, but if you're going to interview someone right after a big and hard fought win, you're going to get an emotional answer and thats exactly what Andrews got.

    • @Shakester71
      @Shakester71 9 років тому +6

      Nick Abernathy I think people have to be football fans first, then a fan of their team next, but thats rarely the case. I'm a Pac-12 (10) guy and went to Cal so I paid close attention to Sherman among other players that played in the conference along the way like Lynch, Desean Jackson and Aaron Rodgers. Sherman wasn't that good at Stanford and he knew it and was humble. He worked his ass off to become the player he is now and as a football fan, you have to appreciate that.

    • @amoses11
      @amoses11 6 років тому +7

      I thought I was the only one. Some of today's NFL players don't have the heart to be politically incorrect. They stay giving teams and players waaay too much respect and props. Like I get it it's a professional football league and one must carry themselves as such but these players needa show some personality and talk shit and back it up. I feel like that will elevate the targeted players game and provide quality matchups week in and week out. But if players talk too much shit then they'll get fined or get into a fight on and off the field which could escalate to something else smh.

    • @TravelwithPavel

    This interview will forever be legendary, and will be iconic to not only Richard Sherman's legacy, but also the Legion of Boom's legacy as well. The raw emotions Sherman was evincing after that game, especially from the disrespect he got from Michael Crabtree, really showed you the emotive mentality Sherman played with in his prime. He and Seattle's defense were unbelievable at their peak. This interview exemplified it.

    • @macabree5856
      @macabree5856 2 роки тому

      perfectly said. Forever be legendary. Such a huge Conference championship game. His emotions were pure raw. Its rare defensive players get interviewed after high level games especially after playing a massive part in the outcome of the game..very rare. I would find it an insult to have the ball thrown towards his direction on the final play of the game despite him being the best corner in the game. The ball was hardly thrown in his direction the "entire game" and "now" they want to throw it to him so Crabtree can be labeled something like the "giant killer" by beating richard sherman so they can waltz to the superbowl smh
