I get there’s times protection might have to sneak a hold in, but you’d think in a do or die situation they’d make sure not to get a flag thrown on such a blatantly obvious hold. He lucky they won.

The reactions they had toward the called back TD were favorable toward the play, and the only negative things Peyton said at the end/throughout was his criticism of NO not calling any timeouts during the drive. I don't watch all of these casts but every time I do it seems like both of them are always trying to analyze and look for what both sides could be doing. Eli focusing on what the D can do doesn't come off as him wanting them to succeed specifically against Brady, but more of just trying to comment on the situation in general. I mean just look at Peyton...dude is laser focused the whole time like he's trying to read the plays back when he was playing. MRoberts is right that the competitive spirit in general is still there, you can see it by how focused they are or how upset they get when bad plays or game management happens. But there's no evidence in words or reaction here that really suggest them wishing for TB to fail. Nothing makes their analysis enthralling. Watching peyton carry the broadcast with his “charisma” while Eli struggles to string a sentence together is unbearable. I’d think more highly of the broadcast if they were just grunting and throwing feces.

Love it. I love that their eyes are darting all over the field, not just on the QB and the ball. Like he noticed Evans wasn't on the field. They're looking at coverages, and what they're being given at all times. It's so much more fun to watch than the talking heads in the booth. It makes it way more meaningful instead of trying to sell us on some story line.
Payton LOVES football. His facial expressions and even his breathing was changing during big moments in the game. You can tell he still feels everything about this game.
Also had nine one and done in the playoffs in his career and played in a dome stadium for 14 year's and only won one Superbowl, that means something also, most overrated, overhyped QB in NFL history

I seriously think Brady’s final season, while one of his personal worst, was still one of the best QB seasons that year. 4700 yards, 25 TDs to 9 INTs, as well as one of the lowest sack numbers, all while having no run game to fall back on

Yeah it's the combination of everything. Super quick processing, speedy release, pinpoint accuracy and every throw is an absolute rope so it's hard for the defense to see it and jump it. GOAT.

while it was a hold, it also was a pretty decent double team block. on a game winning TD in the last few seconds of the game I dont know if I like the call... but it ended up just hurting the saints.

This is such a great way to deliver a football game. These two have so much insight, listening to them run through their options in real time as the game unfolds really adds an interesting and entertaining dimension to the game. Never been a football player at any level, but I can imagine many who are would find their on the spot analysis beneficial.
I’m not even that into football and I’ve just been watching clips of them doing commentary like this, it’s so much more interesting to watch with their insight.
It’s much more natural and unbiased since they don’t have to worry about the audience like a normal broadcast; no commercials or graphics to promote. This is somewhat on-demand. Romo seemed cool but he’s become really cheesy and forced. Look at these two - Peyton in command and thinking through every possibility. Eli is scratching his hair, appearing like he’s in over his head and lost but seeing the simplicity. Awesome insight!
U saw how Peyton was lost or called it wrong most plays .. Brady was on another level haha on the Td pass to the running back Peyton was saying he would have all 4 routes in the end zone n keep the back to block fearing the sack but that’s exactly who they threw it too the running back cause the saints were probably thinking just like Peyton was . They were saying New Orleans should've called a timeout. That way, if Tampa scores, there's more than 3 seconds left. With 40 seconds, in a 1 point game, you can get in position for a FG to win it. With 3, you can't. They were wanting New Orleans to take the timeout.
Peyton was saying NO should call a TO, he said early on that you might as well assume TB was gonna score so why not give yourself some time afterwards...
Nah Brady had the offense set for a TD no matter what, he did force them to use a TO but Brady was getting that TD no matter what otherwise he would’ve thrown an incompletion along with a timeout = more time.
I love Peyton's mouth gaping stare. You can tell the gears in his brain are spinning at the speed of sound. He always was a horrendous athlete, but when your brain can see football in slow motion, and you have intuition to know what's going to happen next, you can win without needing to run... And since game knows game, you can see the respect for Brady.
More sports can absolutely use this sort of format and it would be so helpful for the casuals and hardcore fans alike…2 genuine legends of the game who know what they’re talking about. Would love to see this in basketball and soccer

I celebrated finishing my masters degree by going to this game to see the GOAT play. I was sitting next to an older couple that had season tickets. The husband was telling me about how he had left early twice before only to hear on the radio that Brady had made a comeback. Just before when this video starts, the bucs has a possession where it looked like Brady threw an interception. The old man next to me got frustrated and left, I’m sure to great disappointment later! For me this was the most incredible, once in a lifetime chance too see Brady make one of his signature last minute rallies to win it. Whether or not he did, I was just happy to be there and see him work. As the Bucs inched closer the whole crowd started going wild!! I was yelling like a maniac in celebration after the touchdown (that got called back) and then went nuts on another level when Brady scored AGAIN leaving just 3 seconds on the clock!! WHAT A GAME!! It’s bittersweet to know this was his last great comeback win - I’m grateful to have been there, and will cherish the memories forever Much love to the Mannings - Peyton was my favorite QB growing up ( I hated Brady back then!) it’s heartwarming to see Peyton appreciate Brady’s legendary mastery Sorry for the long post, just thought I’d share! I watched this broadcast. What I always find interesting is that the respect The Mannings have with Tom Brady and vice versa, and how impressed they are at his age of 45 he is still playing the way he is. I am sure if they could be doing the same thing at his age they would have. These three are among the best quarterbacks the NFL has seen. Between them with the 11 Super Bowls all three of them won (two by each Manning) it is just amazing what they all have done in the NFL.
Idk man, just the way he was operating the no huddle offense during the 2 min drill. He's calm, he's focused, the callouts are precise and everyone is on the same page, he's making sure everything is running like a well oiled machine, just a natural leader. It's what makes him Tom Brady.... like a surgeon picking apart that defense in 2 minute, like he knew what coverage they were going to audible into before they even did it, and Tom always knew what play to have the offense in to counter it. And this is despite the fact that they had struggled all game. Just an absolute masterclass and beautiful to watch.

You can tell low-key Payton is at awe in a good way watching his old nemesis play while also putting his money on the Saints. The gestures he makes are not because of jealousy of Brady, but rather how defficient the Saints clock management is through his eyes because he knows Brady damn too well....at the the end, the brothers grew up rooting for New Orleans.

Tbh…Brady didn’t do his thing. He struggled the whole game. Mark Ingram runs out of bounds instead of getting the first down that would’ve basically ended the game.
I was at this game too, and it was crazy because a TON of people left after the Bucs decided to kick a field goal late in the 4th instead of going for it on 4th and short... And I was like "they just made it a 1 possession game, why would you leave now?".. Awesome comeback. It was their first game back after Germany as well and they played Country Roads at the end of the game, which people were into, but the crowd was so small because so many people dipped that it didn't sound anywhere as close to as cool when they pulled it off in Belgium lol.
You can tell Peyton sees what’s coming when Brady gets into that rhythm. That’s why he kept saying NO needs to call a TO. Got to break it up and adjust. He knows what it’s like to get into that passing rhythm, and it’s over for the other team when it happens. NO should have called a TO about 3 plays into this drive to adjust. Brady was picking them apart in that D. This is good stuff.

Even though Brady had a down year by his standards, he still had moments like this game ,and the Rams game. His ability to come through with the game on the line, was unprecedented. Manning,, Montana and, Elway were also great in those situations, but Brady was the best. Even when he came up short, he seemed to always get his team close. Giving opposing teams that "here we go again' feeling.
I was blessed by being around for Ali vs Frazier, Bird vs Magic, Tyson vs everyone else, and of course Brady vs Manning and Manning . Although being Patriots fan for close to 50 years where we were supposed to hate the Mannings, I know they are truly great folks and both bring so much to football in this role.

Hey! I remember this game. I was as sick as I had ever been in my life. I had the game on but I felt like I was in and out of consciousness. I started to come to a bit around this point of the game. Last thing I remember was cheering my boys on a well earned victory. I woke up around 10am the next day feeling a little better. God damn, I love football.
On top of the 7 Super Bowls, Brady possibly could've won 5 more if the Manning brothers didn't exist. Eli beat him in Super Bowl for 2007 & 2011 seasons. Peyton beat him in 2006, 20013, 2015 AFC Championship games. Just imagine the mind boggling insanity of owning 12 rings!

This is such a great way to deliver a football game. These two have so much insight, listening to them run through their options in real time as the game unfolds really adds an interesting and entertaining dimension to the game. Never been a football player at any level, but I can imagine many who are would find their on the spot analysis beneficial.
I’m not even that into football and I’ve just been watching clips of them doing commentary like this, it’s so much more interesting to watch with their insight.
It’s much more natural and unbiased since they don’t have to worry about the audience like a normal broadcast; no commercials or graphics to promote. This is somewhat on-demand. Romo seemed cool but he’s become really cheesy and forced. Look at these two - Peyton in command and thinking through every possibility. Eli is scratching his hair, appearing like he’s in over his head and lost but seeing the simplicity. Awesome insight!
U saw how Peyton was lost or called it wrong most plays .. Brady was on another level haha on the Td pass to the running back Peyton was saying he would have all 4 routes in the end zone n keep the back to block fearing the sack but that’s exactly who they threw it too the running back cause the saints were probably thinking just like Peyton was . I celebrated finishing my masters degree by going to this game to see the GOAT play. I was sitting next to an older couple that had season tickets. The husband was telling me about how he had left early twice before only to hear on the radio that Brady had made a comeback. Just before when this video starts, the bucs has a possession where it looked like Brady threw an interception. The old man next to me got frustrated and left, I’m sure to great disappointment later!
For me this was the most incredible, once in a lifetime chance too see Brady make one of his signature last minute rallies to win it. Whether or not he did, I was just happy to be there and see him work. As the Bucs inched closer the whole crowd started going wild!! I was yelling like a maniac in celebration after the touchdown (that got called back) and then went nuts on another level when Brady scored AGAIN leaving just 3 seconds on the clock!!
WHAT A GAME!! It’s bittersweet to know this was his last great comeback win - I’m grateful to have been there, and will cherish the memories forever

I watched this broadcast. What I always find interesting is that the respect The Mannings have with Tom Brady and vice versa, and how impressed they are at his age of 45 he is still playing the way he is. I am sure if they could be doing the same thing at his age they would have. These three are among the best quarterbacks the NFL has seen. Between them with the 11 Super Bowls all three of them won (two by each Manning) it is just amazing what they all have done in the NFL.

Idk man, just the way he was operating the no huddle offense during the 2 min drill. He's calm, he's focused, the callouts are precise and everyone is on the same page, he's making sure everything is running like a well oiled machine, just a natural leader. It's what makes him Tom Brady.... like a surgeon picking apart that defense in 2 minute, like he knew what coverage they were going to audible into before they even did it, and Tom always knew what play to have the offense in to counter it. And this is despite the fact that they had struggled all game. Just an absolute masterclass and beautiful to watch.
Just look at Peyton at the end. Literally so jacked up, like he's there! He's holding himself! Full 2 arm hugging the body or can't sit still. LoL

You can tell low-key Payton is at awe in a good way watching his old nemesis play while also putting his money on the Saints.
The gestures he makes are not because of jealousy of Brady, but rather how defficient the Saints clock management is through his eyes because he knows Brady damn too well....at the the end, the brothers grew up rooting for New Orleans.
This was my one and only time at a nfl game. So happy I got to see Brady do his brady thing with the comeback. Soooooo many people left the game it was hilarious 😂

Tbh…Brady didn’t do his thing. He struggled the whole game. Mark Ingram runs out of bounds instead of getting the first down that would’ve basically ended the game.
I was at this game too, and it was crazy because a TON of people left after the Bucs decided to kick a field goal late in the 4th instead of going for it on 4th and short... And I was like "they just made it a 1 possession game, why would you leave now?".. Awesome comeback. It was their first game back after Germany as well and they played Country Roads at the end of the game, which people were into, but the crowd was so small because so many people dipped that it didn't sound anywhere as close to as cool when they pulled it off in Belgium lol.
Tampa Bay never deserved Brady. Terrible football city.

You can tell Peyton sees what’s coming when Brady gets into that rhythm. That’s why he kept saying NO needs to call a TO. Got to break it up and adjust. He knows what it’s like to get into that passing rhythm, and it’s over for the other team when it happens. NO should have called a TO about 3 plays into this drive to adjust. Brady was picking them apart in that D. This is good stuff.
I love watching the Manning’s analyze football games it actually got me back into watching the NFL. The way their mindset translates to the commentary makes for such a unique & enjoyable experience

Hey! I remember this game. I was as sick as I had ever been in my life. I had the game on but I felt like I was in and out of consciousness. I started to come to a bit around this point of the game. Last thing I remember was cheering my boys on a well earned victory. I woke up around 10am the next day feeling a little better.
