    A great video.
One thing you should always do is if you are going to remove the axle tube from the spring plate mark where the three bolts go because it is adjustable from front to back.
Thanks for sharing the knowledge man ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.

I have the same issue with mine, there’s lots of lowering videos but hardly any to raise the car up. Thank you for this detailed how to video!

Learned a lot. Building up the nerves to lower the rear of my 73. Thanks for the fire.

Looks like a pretty straight forward job. I know this is on a swing axle set up, but I’m sure the process is the same on the IRS set up as well.
I know I’m going to be running a set of sway aways on mine and run stiffer springs for my Baja build.

Same process. Spring plate connections is different, but it’s still a splined torsion.

Bet it settles a little after all the interior is installed. Will be nice.

That oval looks like it has a wide track on the front?, do you know what beam it’s running? I’ve got a 62 bug that I was going to fit a later pan with the wider torsion housing and 67 front beam. That looks a nice car but a bit odd at the front, might be just because it needs settling?

It’s a stock 57 beam. Just needs settling. In the video it was not running.
