Rose's personal success shows that she knows what's she's talking about.
Not really. This is the logical error a lot of people make when modelling successful people. A person does a bunch of actions, becomes successful then retroactively attributes success to action A or B. We write our own life story backwards and often edit out bits that don't fit our narrative or accentuate things that do. Rose's success was the result of a certain set of conditions at a certain point in her life. Another person in the same situation would end up completely different.

It’s important to have a financial plan. I work with a portfolio manager and fixed income planner in the USA. The fixed income portion of your portfolio won’t simply serve as a buffer to the volatility of the equity portion of your portfolio, but will provide legitimate income.
Very true, people downplay planners role, until burnt by their mistakes. I remember just after my layoff 3 years ago amidst covid outbreak. I needed to stay afloat, hence researched for licensed fiduciary advisors. Thankfully, I came across someone of practical knowledge and decades of experience. I liquidated 200k of my 340k from my 401(k) it has yielded nearly 1M usd after subsequent investments so far.
But there is illegitimate people impersonating Rose and she is not doing anything about it:

What I would add about Dr Joe's work is that yes, it presents scientific evidence for his theories. But those theories are totally based around the amazing results that can be achieved through meditation. The idea is that you break the habit of being yourself by deprogramming your subconscious of past ways of thinking, and setting new ones for your future. All through meditation.

Totally resonate with your book recommendations! My own turning point wasn't a book but a bold choice. Hello from Seattle I just wanted to ask you Rose what about putting your money in CDs? Would that be a good idea?

I know you asked Rose your question. But I cringed when I read your question. Banks love to push, CD’s and Annuities. Worst investments you can make. I had a CD account when I knew nothing about investing in my younger days, and realized I lost money the whole time the money was locked in the account. At the time inflation was 2% and the CD account was making I believe 1/4%, I was losing money on that account for the whole term. These days you will still lose money in a CD account, is my opinion. Rose can explain more to you, or do a search on UA-cam for a “CD accounts”. I recommend to new investors is to open a Roth IRA, or regular IRA and invest in a index fund. Research that also on UA-cam. I wish you all the best in investing. Remember to have patience, and hold long term.

Hi Rose, can you recommend a financial literacy book for my 16 year old niece?
The single most important concept to learn is what happens in 5, 10, 15, 20 years when you contribute to an index fund based on the s&p 500. You can learn this in 5 minutes of playing around with a simple investment calculator. I use the one on Dave Ramsay's site but I am sure there are many out there. Teaching a 16 about saving via compound interest is #1 priority. For example, saving $1000 a month will turn into 1 million in 20 years.

I have a real problem with the law of attraction. One should take credit for their success from their own focused thought and efforts. Not because "the Universe has got your back".
