@@thezig2078 Bland and basic modern shooter? You clearly don’t know what your talking about, MoH Warfighter is far from a bland and basic shooter, in fact It took alot of what was good about Battlefield and Call of duty and found a middle ground to work of which I think worked really nicely, not to mention the game included features that Battlefield would later end up using down the track such as being able to resupply yourself with meds and/or ammo just by pressing the interaction button on the back of certain allies in Multiplayer, plus it incorporated a lot of cool “kill streaks” known as support actions, but with a twist with there being given the option to use an offensive kill streak, or defensive kill streak never seen done in a MoH game before. The game also featured a highly customisable weapon bench which let you customise almost everything on the firearm even more than what Battlefield 3 offered a year prior and definitely ahead of what Call of dutys weapon customisation offered at the time. You could also play from a range of tier one operators from around the globe, which is still yet to be seen in any other modern shooter to date, as alot of the times your stuck playing either US or Russia, in some cases China, but never Australia, Sweden etc so I’d say it was far from an “bland and basic shooter” of the time.
warfighter might have been a pretty terrible game overall, but the one thing i always liked about it was the reload animations, because they're made in such a way that they convey - better than most other games - the sensation of pulling out the second mag out of a pouch on your operator's plate carrier. circa 2012, mag pouches were still generally mounted pretty high up on plate carriers so you really had to pull them out at a quite severe angle
I find it criminal I never had the chance to play Medal of Honor Warfighter and as a Filipino-Canadian I felt it was an obligation since the Philippines was included in that game.
Warfighter is my favorite MoH game. Good reloading animations, good graphics, good optimization and good gameplay with good Campaign. I don't know why people didn't like it.
It was extremely generic and came out in a time when everyone was making brown/grey military shooters. So it just kind of disappeared in the masses. I liked the MP quite a bit, but the campaign was so bad
