Just found you. I pray you blow up when Wilds comes out. I assure you if you’re releasing guides like these right s the game comes out you will blow up. Great video!
I'm at Sunbreak endgame but felt like trying out LBG for the first time - this was exactly the video I needed! Informative and also hilarious. Thanks!!
I am almost 300 hours into MHR and it is really the first MH that I have ever really played and understood. Been playing with the Sword and Shield for that whole time and decided to give the light bow gun a chance. Thank you for such a comprehensive video as it answered most of my questions and now I just need to start learning and hunting. Great work!
I used to switch between Heavy & Light Bowgun, but after they added the Wyvernheart and Wyvernsnipe on to HBG, I never went back. Still, this is a great guide to help bring me back to LBG. Being able to move without feeling like I'm carrying a sofa might be nice.
I actually just tried a rapid normal build yesterday, and this video just reminded me that I wasn't doing enough damage because I forgot the long barrel lmao. I'll try it again today.
This is, hands down, the best guide video I have ever watched about anything. Amazing editing with good humor with on-point information. Awesome job, and thank you!
No joke, I’ve played this video on repeat for the past 2-3 days now LMAO. Got me through the start of Master Rank to Malzeno. I practiced with the top most, basic, standard dot Kamura LBG but ended up using and loving both the Goss Gun and Golm Gun. It’s insane how much information you put in and how entertaining this video is! The transition at 13:01 always got me LOL! Well done and thank you!
Loved the video, the comedy, in depth details (for me who has never ever played bowguns ans was looking for something to switch it up a bit) job well done. Subscribed.
I was just gonna' watch a segment of this well-divided video, but it started right off by making me laugh, so I got the feeling that I should watch the whole thing. I was not disappointed at all. Nicely done, man.
Great content. Just started playing this and only got into Monster Hunter World twice for 40hrs each and got bored, didnt get really far. This game seems more interesting to me but there is so much to learn I almost gave up.
Few things to consider, afaik critical fire power is 30% on Normals, 20% on spread and 10% on pierce, the issue with spread is how much distance you lose due having to run with a silencer vs a long barrel (which also slightly boost damage) and the loss of valueable size 2 slots for tune up along the time lost if you need to reposition as spread with long barrel has actually a pretty decent distance to deal full damage which helps with your uptime on dealing damage to the monster. Also mech shoot has niche uses for those few monsters were breaking a part can really help the fight, like Barioth legs or metal raths heads, though it shouldn't be an issue as it's easy to keep both of them on different skill scrolls. Also haven't mathed it out but if you are deploying the 3 mines I'm not sure going for the stronger hit is a good idea as you trade time (due being flown away from the barrels) plus charges from your mines due the strong hit, vs being able to detonate your mines 4 times and then let the monster hit them for the 5th for a stronger explosion, I usually deploy mines on head, put barrels on hands or middle body were they won't hit the mines and start exploding the barrels via a N1 shoot that doesn't hit the monster for the 2x damage then switch back to S3 for the head + mines. Lastly which helps with the above, you can arrange your ammo menu as it's based on their order in the ammo pouch, I tend to keep ammo I do not use (such as S1 for crafting) while useful ammo is on the first/second as last/seconds to last slots as it's easy to switch between with just 2 taps, I would also recommend disabling ammo autocrafting as the materials to craft ammo are far more valuable than the ammo itself due how easy it is to farm zenny.
Actually didn't know that Critical Firepower affects the ammos differently. Doesn't change my opinion on it much or the use case. You still basically need it, though I suppose Pierce can get away with not having it. Run ballistics 3 if you're having trouble with critical distance with the silencer, you get plenty of range. The difference between low and average recoil is waaaaay too much to miss out on.
@@VaulickTheCrow I agree. The critical firepower on spread is the only way to reach its maximum dmg output. And also ballistics 3 pretty much negate all distance drawbacks. If you can afford it, critical firepower should always be on
By far one of the best LBG videos. While being humorous at that. Great video and thank you for the breakdown. Gives people what they need to do there own thing and understand the weapon , not just a " build this video"
Incredible, exactly what I was looking for. Shocking that nobody has sat down and explained it like you have here. And it was funny as hell to boot! 10/10, you got yourself a sub
Just started Rise with the release on console. Watched a few videos, with build suggestions all over the place. Now I don't need to worry because I just got a crash course with an influx of knowledge with some juicy comedy sprinkled in. Now I'll make my own build, and I will love it every single time I get my booty cheeks clapped.
I'm a long time Gunner Main, both Heavy and Light, but I figured I'd watch the video because I consider myself very casual of a player. I don't use Spread Ammo much or Wyvern Counter at all! I use the Fanning Maneuver and Vaults with Elemental Reload and Quicksteps to move all over the place and blast Monsters from a distance lol I'm not very fond of being up close without a shield lmao
I generally don't have the time of day for dry 30-40 minute rundowns on weapons in Monster Hunter games, but man, this is just so well presented and concise, I love it. Phenomenal work :)
If you take 40 minutes to beat a monster with ANY weapon, you just suck at Monster Hunter. I beat freaking Primordial Malzeno in 15 minutes... With Gunlance... Shelling only BTW
oh my god I just finished a rakna kadaki hunt with my pierce lbg, lord all mighty it was the most satisfying hunt in my life, beautiful orange numbers galore.
Really fun video, I've been seeing a ton of people playing LBG online and figured I'd pick it up since my Dual Blades are lacking in damage. Thanks for making this guide!
Godamnit! I thoroughly enjoyed your guide! Perfect balance of useful info, sarcasm and jokes (nice editing too). Looking forward to more of your content. 👍
I have no interest in lbg, was looking for a video for a friend to watch and still stayed 27 minutes to watch it all lol. Awesome video mang! Thank you.
As someone with roughly 1k hours playing melee in MH titles, and another 100hrs with spread-shot bow, who decided to try LBG for the heck of it, spread is love, slide dodge is life! Bow is just ridiculous to the level where you never get hit, while having 0 down-time on dmg. Buuuut damn it feels good to plant 3 mines on a monster, slot up shrapnel and see it become a fireworks show. Also slide dodge with evade ex II is absurdly fun. Monster is doing a long-range, high radius attack that's almost impossible to out-maneuver? Just slide to the side.
Except if you make a single mistake in higher level monsters, you get deleted in one shot, that's the life of a lbg main, one sneeze that any melee class would scoff off spells cart.
Absolutely amazing video. I started with MH Generations, so I’ve been around a while to figure things out, but a good weapon guide does wonders for people getting into new weapons. I play mainly blademaster weapons, so this is a great refresher before changing playstyles! Great job!
Getting back into mhr now that Wilds was announced. Used most weapons in the monster hunter series but never could really understand/get into the bow guns. Decided on using the light bow gun and have been using this vid as my guide! Great video, informative and entertaining! Really fun and well done editing for this video. I thought you would’ve had more subs haha. Earned one here!
Trying LBG out for the first time - this style of comedy and informative content is fantastic. You're well poised to do fantastic work come Wilds my man. I look forward to it!
Yes use shrapnel, if you've got a lot of small monsters around that you need to get rid of so they don't interfere or if the monster has a Wyvern Blast attached to it. Silkbind glide can cut tails. Mech shot has increased mount and part damage of you hit the crystals that stick to the monster, good for people like me whose personal goal is to break the monster rather than get the shortest time. And thank you for including the music titles, I knew I heard a Bomberman track and was able to confirm it.
Prob one of the best MH related videos i've watched, if it wasnt such a niche topic it would of gathered crazy views dude. Whatever shit youtuber needs, you've got it. I was just looking for some lgb sunbreak gameplay, ended up watching entire thing lol.
This was awesome man! I'm new to using LBG in sunbreak, last time I used it was in MH4U lol I've just been mainly using gunlance, swaxe and wanted to get into the gunner genre again with LBG I watched this upload and was definitely well informed on everything 👍
I will say, if you use the LBG fanning vault, the shrapnel will always hit the monster, AND, the bomb you just planted, so long as it's within range of the weapon. If you like the bombs, bring along some shrapnel.
Even though I don't explicitly state the bomb/shrapnel relationship, I do show it in the video. Though sadly enough, it isn't as damage efficient as just shooting the monster in the face :(. Great for breaking the backs of most monsters though.
Nice information, trying out different weapons now that I'm starting to get into the endgame, and my bow builds are soo elements dependent and wirebug and stamina heavy
Yeah, I'm all about dem raw builds. Elemental is technically better especially with the whole Dragon Conversion thing... but I do a lot of rando hunts and I hate having to constantly change. Bow I never gelled with, just too hectic for my taste. I don't like being dancy pantsy all the time. Bowgun is a lot more direct. Glad you like the vid.
Slicing ammo pre sunbreak was so damn good for dps. Used the zinogre lbg with rapid fire slicing ammo and the hunts went by quickly. Mech silkbind is actually a good one for breaking monster parts, helps to do it much quicker and paired with partbreaker makes for really quick breaks.
I've decided that after maining 3 melee weapons, I want to expand my weapon mastery with a ranged weapon, and I'll learn LBG. IDK if how up to date this guide is, but still has a ton of useful info
I play mostly HH and most likely I will probably never try another weapons (I just freaking love the HH) but damn this video was good. The guide made the LBG look easier to play with it now and it was funny too! 👍
When you have sunk way too deep into the Bowgun customizations that you finally are going to use bad deviation to efficiently use pierce/elemental pierce ammos. I'm about to sink into maddness.
Thanks for the video. I think Mech Silkbind Shot comes in handy for elemental LBG. This is because you can't carry a whole lot to craft elemental (pierce) ammo out on the field. Usually I'll have just enough to last the first and second zones that the monster travels to, but sometimes I do run out before the monster moves to the third zone so that I can restock at camp. However, if I pad it out with Mech Silkbind Shot, then I'll always have enough to last the entire duration of the second zone. This is for multiplayer anyway, not sure how I would fare in solo hunts.
That's a good point. There are times in multiplayer that I'll even run out of Spread 3. But I use the Gaismagorm LBG which fires all level 3 physical shot types, so it doesn't matter much. I generally never run out solo, if I run out in multiplayer it's because I'm doing way more than my fair share of the scaled damage.
I played Rise in 2019 and thought I hated it coz I tried 5 different weapons and hated them all, those weapons were Greatsword, Hammer, Lance, Gunlance and Heavy Bowgun... and my main complaint was combat felt slow and clunky... then yesterday I spoke to some new friends about it, they recommend the light bow gun and I'm having so much fun and am obsessed!!
My biggest problem i have with the lbg, and i have over 400 hours on it for rise and Sunbreak, is honestly trying to figure out a build to use i actually run the Kaus Borealis Asterium because the peirce rapid is really good but my skills i run with it is lackluster, all it took is primordial malzeno to beat me up for a couple weeks to end up having to relearn the basics Thanks this really helped
I use fanning maneuver a lot when using rapidfire ammo types, it shoots a lot faster and gives you a chance to either reload quickly after, or to send out another volley. I believe it also negates recoil so while sliding you can just shoot higher recoil rapidfires as if they had none
Very informational Video. Used to be an LS main and then I got bored of the weapon (not in a bad way - LS has a special place in my heart lol) so i tried bow. But then again - u guessed it. I got bored (again not in a bad way xD). Then i tried HBG and LBG and was not surprised with HBG since ive already got to play it back in world but when i touched the LBG - maaaaaan. Also as ive said earlier, very informational video. When i was looking for builds, i never really knew what’s what and what does this and that do for the skills. Always just relied on the builds i saw online thinking oh okay maybe this is the best one out there but then thanks for the info regarding the specific skills. Subscribed. 👍🏾
I'm not new to the lbg, but I still watched this whole video due to your informative yet comedic style. Major props!
:D
Never was any good at it but I can guarantee if you like speed and ranged atks, it's a ballpark win.
Same for me
Just found you. I pray you blow up when Wilds comes out. I assure you if you’re releasing guides like these right s the game comes out you will blow up. Great video!
This is how a guide should be, very detailed, while also being very entertaining 👏
I'm at Sunbreak endgame but felt like trying out LBG for the first time - this was exactly the video I needed! Informative and also hilarious. Thanks!!
That's me as well! I want to main one of the ranged weapon after mastering 3 melee (Gunlance, Switch Axe and Insect Glaive), and I picked LBG.
I am almost 300 hours into MHR and it is really the first MH that I have ever really played and understood. Been playing with the Sword and Shield for that whole time and decided to give the light bow gun a chance. I do occasionally like the HBG, but yeah... it can feel awfully cumbersome to use. There is something freeing about using the LBG.
The Morpheus "he's beginning to believe" took me out 😂😂😂😂
This video was a masterpiece. Finally a guide that I can sit through in its entirety and was sad when it ended.
your editing is so good 🤣 I came for a guide on the Light Bowgun but stayed for the humor, great video!
I actually just tried a rapid normal build yesterday, and this video just reminded me that I wasn't doing enough damage because I forgot the long barrel lmao. I'll try it again today.

Looking to start a bowgun class this is PERREFECT
your editing, voiceover, humor, and flow are so excellent. definitely deserving of a sub!
Thanks for the comprehensive video, I've been messing around with LBG in MR after watching this and have been having fun with it!
My computer will not accept any controller anymore so I'm starting over with KB+M and I figure light bowgun is my best shot. Great video!
probably one of the best editiing and informative tutorial on light bowgun, thanks
The FF7 OST during heavy information cuts really rock, mate. Subbed
Been a monster hunter fan for years but this is the first time I’ve encountered one of your videos…. And this is easily my favorite. Good work
I was just gonna' watch a segment of this well-divided video, but it started right off by making me laugh, so I got the feeling that I should watch the whole thing. I was not disappointed at all. Nicely done, man.

Rise is my first monster hunter, I thought I didn't like the game, but then I switched to bowgun and it's been smooth sailing ever since.
Yeah, it's a bit rough the first time 'round.
The other weapons can be pretty rewarding once you get the hang of them though.
I'm learning the light bowgun and this video has helped me and I haven't decided on which ammo type to go with so that part is hard for me
I always recommend Spread ammunition. Highly mobile, highly damaging. It is high risk, high reward though, so be sure to be up to date on defense.
I recently started my LBG journey. This video gave me all and even extra info I didn't even know. Thank you for making this video.

Lancer here, wanna try the LBG since that is what 90% of the people joining my lobbies have. Thanks for the informative video!
By far one of the best LBG videos. While being humorous at that. Great video and thank you for the breakdown. Gives people what they need to do there own thing and understand the weapon , not just a " build this video"

Dude this guide is the best I’ve seen yet for a mh guide, never thought I would laugh so much from a guide too
This video made me smile, we need more smiles. Also, after seeing this video and in the best matrix sense: i Know Light Bowgun
Man i was so excited for the scarface switch skill, at least it turns your damage into mounting damage
Not an lbg noob but come back to this guide regularly just for the comedy
Just started Rise with the release on console. Watched a few videos, with build suggestions all over the place. Now I don't need to worry because I just got a crash course with an influx of knowledge with some juicy comedy sprinkled in. Now I'll make my own build, and I will love it every single time I get my booty cheeks clapped.
Came to this video for a guide but ended up getting a good laugh while also learned about the LBG. Good stuff

Bro this guide was phenomenal, the structure, the straight forward explanations and the tempo and combined with your stupid humor, I f*ckin loved it!
Great video thank you , I used to run duel blades but recently got into lightbow gun some would say I’m having a blast!
You deserve way more subs. This was a great amount of information and your sense of humor made it entertaining throughout as well.

appreciate the humor inserted throughout, quality guide, will def keep eyes open when mh wilds comes out
I only ever touched that gun in the Arena Quests. Now I learned alot about it. Thanks for the knowledge.
That sweet sweet Bomberman Hero music is chef's kiss. Lol.
Haven’t played since Valstrax came out so I’m easing back in. Thanks for the refresher homie 😘
Easy to follow, great explanations, very well structured and the right kind and amount of humor, you deserve way more subs dude
just tried to use LBG for anomalies, and this is the first video of yours that I see, love your style and vey informative! keep up the good work
I’m way late to the party but this editing is top notch. Fuckin hilarious too.
Going a long way toward pushing the channel forward
I'm doing my part!
"Because it's easy. And it does a lot of damage." Man those DS cartoons were so good.
I love the tone, the humor and the explanations are clear! You deserve a lot more exposure!
I know I'm late to the party, but you deserve more subs. The info is hugely appreciated and you did a hell of a job making this!
Really fun video, I've been seeing a ton of people playing LBG online and figured I'd pick it up since my Dual Blades are lacking in damage. Thanks for making this guide!
I can’t tell you enough how good as funny this was. Thanks :)
Godamnit! I thoroughly enjoyed your guide! Perfect balance of useful info, sarcasm and jokes (nice editing too). Looking forward to more of your content. 👍
Thank you, I really appreciate that. Once I do a couple more Elden Ring videos, I'm probably going to make a Switch Axe guide as well.
I have no interest in lbg, was looking for a video for a friend to watch and still stayed 27 minutes to watch it all lol.
Awesome video mang! Thank you.
This was brilliant. Your sense of humor is golden.
God dammit I love hearing the Wall Market song in here that shit gives me major serotonin.
Thank you for this video. I was thinking of maiming the LBG. This has helped me confirm my decision and how to use the weapon
No problem my dude.
Wow. This is the first video every first try gunner must see!!

You know its bad when a lobotomized lance main (me) has the Abyssal Hailstorm and zero other non-lance weapons in my inventory.

I don't use light bowgun but thanks. Plan to use it in the future.
Thanks for the guidance. I really needed a shoota for soloing rampages.
Props for making an actual beginner's guide, where you actually explain shit. Other guides don't do half as much.
Great video! Thanks for taking the time to put it together. Enjoyed the humor as well!
I play mostly HH and most likely I will probably never try another weapons (I just freaking love the HH) but damn this video was good. The guide made the LBG look easier to play with it now and it was funny too! 👍
No one will blame you for sticking to the doots. Everyone appreciates the buffs.
You really help me how to use a bow gun because I really don't know how to use a bow gun to be honest
When you have sunk way too deep into the Bowgun customizations that you finally are going to use bad deviation to efficiently use pierce/elemental pierce ammos. I'm about to sink into maddness.
Lol, I bid you good luck with your mad adventures.
You must learn to curve the bullet.
Incredible content! I see much success in the future.
Hilarious and informative. Great video! Will definitely look into the gaismagorm lbg.
Great Light Bowgun video!!! Made me a subscriber. Keep it up!!

"... Because it's what's on the inside that counts, specifically these bullets and getting them inside a monster"
bless, i loved lbg in world but ive been too lazy to research all of this on my own for rise/sunbreak 😂
i love your video editing bro !
My biggest problem i have with the lbg, and i have over 400 hours on it for rise and Sunbreak, is honestly trying to figure out a build to use i actually run the Kaus Borealis Asterium because the peirce rapid is really good but my skills i run with it is lackluster, all it took is primordial malzeno to beat me up for a couple weeks to end up having to relearn the basics
Thanks this really helped
I use fanning maneuver a lot when using rapidfire ammo types, it shoots a lot faster and gives you a chance to either reload quickly after, or to send out another volley. I believe it also negates recoil so while sliding you can just shoot higher recoil rapidfires as if they had none
Damn, I've always been an LBG hater but this was VERY convincing. I'll probably give it a fair chance myself now
Thanks for the tutorial. Time to risk it all for the spread pew pew
Subscribed. 👍🏾
That was the goal, too much how and not enough why in so many of the videos.
I appreciate the feedback.
ABSOLUTELY HARD EARNED SUBSCRIPTION BROTHER + the crow is the best creature in existence (and turtles)
