No, try Aces High. Try Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Alexander the Great, Blood Brothers, 2 Minutes to Midnight, Flight of Icarus.... and many, many more better songs than Wasted Years. :) But of course WY is one of the greatest. Classic.

This is definitely one of their best . The guitar rhythms are on point. This song was released on their 1986 album “ Somewhere in Time”. Yes they are still together. their most recent effort is “ Book of Souls” which is a tremendous album. My favorite song on that album is “ Empire of the Clouds” which is 17 mins long. The song is based on the true story of the “ R 101’” which was the largest airship ever built that tragically crashed. Maiden is my favorite all time band . Your reaction vids are adorable. In the nearly 40 years of being a Maiden fan I've never heard them being called "cute". I can live with that though, can you?

The song is from 1986, in the album “Somewhere in time”. The band was created in 1975 by the bassist Steve Harris. Iron Maiden still kick ass from 1975 to now. We are waiting for a new album. Great reactions girls, keep on!
That skeleton is their mascot Mr.Eddie, has been on every album since the beginning in 1980 (i dont remember Blaze era though) and the song is from 1986 from album Somewhere in Time i belive its called and on the same album there is a little track call Alexander the Great the story of Macedonia, you should check it out, one of their best titles to this day
He was on the Blaze era too. On X Factor he was attached to some metal object and had all kinds of machinery digging into him. And it also wasn’t regular illustrated artwork, it looked more like a figure of an action figure or something. And on Virtual XI is had a kid sitting on the ground with like a virtual reality gaming headset on, and Eddie was reaching for him and surrounding the environment he was sitting in.
This is one of my personal favorites but you need to check out Rime of the Ancient Mariner or Fear of the Dark from Rock in Rio

From their 7th album in 1986. Early-middle era.
It’s not one of their later songs, this was still during their classic era. But I’m glad that you guy picked up on the fact the video was showing older stuff. It wasn’t just the pictures, but a lot of the random stuff that was in the video are from past Iron Maiden videos or moments of their on camera, so it was supposed to seem reminiscent. This was a good reaction, I’m glad you guys enjoyed it.

On the video you notice they show years ago when they were young, different tours and countries, such an emotional song, very beautiful.
Alexander the Great is amazing as is Rime of the Ancient Mariner live from Flight 666, check them out, all the cool kids are doing it.
The message is don't live in the past, make the present the golden years. Great song, love the guitars in the beginning and middle.

Love Maiden. This was their peak IMO. Nothing was bigger at that time. I almost cry every time I hear this. Great song but more of a moment in time for me...not trying to cry everyday....lol

They used Eddie because they didn't want themselves on the albums and with Eddie you'd always know it was iron maiden, this album came out in 1986, absolutely beautiful song and it's about their extensive touring, always away from home and the people they love back home but this applies to each and every one of us, living right now!
