@@CelestialWoodway I can see it going either way. There is a phrase that goes something like "Do You Really Want To Bring The Circus To Town?". Because that is the situation that Luhnow, Hinch and potentially Cora are going to find themselves in through the remainder of their careers in Major League Baseball. While I understand that baseball franchises have shown that they will look past almost anything in the spirit of winning, there is also the case to be made for individuals who have become toxic to the point where they are unofficially blackballed from the game. Barry Bonds would be a good example in that, he expressed intentions of playing beyond the 2007 season but not one of the thirty ball clubs made him an offer for 2008. The steroid allegations, the controversy over his HR records, the circus atmosphere that engulfed Bonds ensured that once his contract was up with San Francisco that he would never play another game of professional ball. We might be at the same crossroads here with these three individuals. It would be very difficult for a team to install Hinch or Cora in their dugout without having their team being under constant scrutiny from opposing ball clubs, media and fans about whether or not their team was on the level day in and day out. Hinch and potentially Cora may have royally screwed themselves over here. Time will tell.

    "it's a joke"
You're right it is a joke, to think that I really liked some of the Astros players. It's a joke that the players took part in this level of cheating or stood by and kept a blind eye. It's one thing to steal signs on the field, but to use media and electronics is just unacceptable. Cheating is cheating, bans or stripping of the championship should be in order to set precedent on this. This can't happen for baseball.
