Hi Arber, Thanks for great videos. Here are some more reasons to switch: 1. Ability to adapt old Canon, Sigma DSLR lenses with adapters and Panasonic IBIS is great to stabilize them. 2. All Panasonic f1. 8 lenses are having same filter size thread , size and weight if I'm correct. Easy for travel and no separate NDs. 3. Cost is most important and value Panasonic cameras gives is huge. Need not to buy CF express type A cards as Panasonic codecs are easy on machines and file size with quality is great. No need to spend on extra type A cards and expensive readers. Panasonic is first one to give consumers external SSD recording from GH6 for high data rate videos. And for Panasonic S5 mii black model to release in May is having that feature. One time payment and enjoy high data rates on external SSDs all are having. 4. Live crop is a great feature in video, no need to buy sliders. These are my few points Arber.
As someone who ordered 2 and is excited, not only did you answer questions I had about the kit lens, but you also gave us downloadable footage!!! You earned a sub, a like to this video and a super thanks. Can't wait to go through your channel!
@@ArberBaqaj my name is Shaun! The service you provided with your video is unique and much needed in terms of some of the things that all the other UA-camrs hadn’t covered. I’m so glad you provided the footage as I had never worked with full VLOG (I’ve worked VLOG-L from my GH5 Mark II) so I did a quick test grade and really got to dig into the quality straight out camera. This was the next best thing to having the camera in hand, so thank you again. And providing all the resolutions is super awesome so others can try different things!
The new 14-28mm lens might be another reason. Together with the 20-60 and the F1.8 primes of choice it's possible to build a system that is kind of the same size as a comparable GH6-system. For me, the S5-II is also a reason to keep the MFT-System because my expectations to get a better AF in the foreseeable future has now changed from "just hoping" to "being pretty sure". I expect more competitive small MFT cameras from Panasonic that will get better market share and keep the system alive longtime.
Excellent video! Did you notice moire patterns on the s5ii due to the lack of AA filter to the sensor? And if so is it going to be a problem on professional work?

Nr 13 Audio is the most important as I think Panasonic is the only brand providing good audio on mirrorless. The others manufactures does not take this important factor in video seriously.
Great video. I have an S5 iix with the S Pro 24-70. I love the camera for many reasons. I have a question about something I ran into this morning. I recorded 4K 60fps for the first time and the video was split into 1 min clips. Is this a setting issue or is this how the S5 iix records 4K 60?
Usable dynamic range is usually one stop ahead on the S Series in comparison to the Sony A7s3 and A74. Way less noise reduction and way more usable and cleaner shadows. IMATEST is a synthetic benchmark than can be manipulated by strong noise reduction.
The some more reasons to switch are good 2 reasons to buy this camera ;-) Not overheating without opening all protective covers is my main reason for buying this camera! Was this recorded in Antwerp?
Hi! Amazing video! I’m looking for a good camera for video, so what do you think about the lumix s5iix and the Fujifilm xh2s? Which for you is better for video? Thanks
Ive haven't shot with the XH2s unfortunately, I like Fuji for photos but I would actually prefer full frame, and as of wright S5II is probably the best bet, the S5II X will of course be great but I don't expect image quality to be much difference then the normal S5II. The raw recording however will have much more color. Hope this helps =)
I don't really see the advantage of open gate. If you have a object that needs to be completely in frame, then it will need to be within your horizontal 16:9 frame markers and centered within your 9:16 frame markers, so at this point you might as well frame up on a 16:9 file and stop the guessing on the open gate file.
A lot of times you don’t know you are going to need both orientations, I have had customers asked be for vertical version after I shoot only thinking of a 16:9 horizontal edit. It’s more common everyday, by shooting open gate you have a nice blanket to provide both.
@@9adriano21 you shoot 16:9 4K with vertical frame markers youll have enough resolution for social media anyway - no point guessing two compositions in open gate
It allows you to pull your vertical social media from your primary footage all at once, no remounting the camera and trying to recreate for socials. If you are making money from UA-cam this is the most valuable feature on any camera period. One shooting session gives you YT, insta, YT shorts, and ticktock, without ever changing your camera setup, or reshooting a shot.
Thanks for the video, just wondered if you can bake LUT in on one SD and record VLog unbaked for tweaking to the other SD with dual recording? Thanks 🙂
Hi Arber, amazing video! I have a question, how do you find the warping/wobbly stuff for vloggin at 16 or 18 mm? I was thinking of getting the 16 28 sigma for vlogging but some of the comments about wobbliness are worrisome. What are your thoughts?
Greetings! Are Your files v log, v gamut? Cant understand why they are so noisy, like really, really noisy, even huge noise reduction do not eleminate it. I am comparing it with my smartphone's slog3 8 bit and 10 bit that i recorded on my android phone with external program and 240 fps looks way better in terms of noise and details than Yours 100 fps on V log. I really liked specs from Panny, but those noise scares me.... Just want to clarify it from You. May be overexposing helps?
I really love to film very slow-mo, 240, 480 pfs and more, and this footage reminded me sony fs700r, without 2-3 stops overexposure noise is iremovable.... thus just use my phone for now, want to find good slow-mo camera without paying more than 5k
Woah the pulsing in your sample clip of you outside is terrible! What gives? Downloaded the footage and zoomed in on the background and it’s pulsing worse than the original s5. I’ve never seen that in any other clip of the S5ii so it must be some weird reason specific to that shot.
The perfect camera, IF IT, HAD 4k60p UNCROPPED!!! I don't think it will have a good course, because the almost 6-year delay of PANASONIC, to develop a reliable fds autofocus system, reached it almost one step before the final exit from the camera industry (it has about 3% market share) WITH THESE NUMBERS, no you recover, UNLESS YOU OFFER UNIQUE ITEMS, at a competitive price. And unfortunately, it didn't (4k60p...)

its still a little bit warpy at 18, i would probably go with 20mm. I would go with the kitlens which is so cheap with the camera =)
Hi. What app I can open the settings file with?
s5II records audio at 120, or 180 frames?
Thanks
100000 reasons to get it 💝
Very true =)
How do you like the photo quality
Honestly I haven't taken to many photos with it. The few I have taken have been great though =)
Does all your ideas on the S5 II do they apply to the X version ?
The X version has everything the base model has, plus the special features (SSD rec, All-Intra, pro streaming)
Does autofocus work with mount adapters? I have a sigma 18-35 EF
Yes, the Phase AF means that Sigma's MC-21 adaptor is able to work to its full potential.
can you please share some 10bit 422 video clips on vlog so that we could try them on pc ?
hi! Sure! I.ll be back =)
