@@QKvox classic cars deserve classic engines, if you’re keeping it original. RestoMod? Coyote or a 5.4/5.8 swap would be badass in an old school GT500 RestoMod, or a full CJ/Cams Coyote setup in an old Cobra Jet car.

I just did one yesterday! 2017 Mustang 5.0 with AFE cat-back and we deleted the AFE mufflers too. It sounded like #3. My shop is in South Lake Tahoe, CA and I always send my customers to your UA-cam so they can hear what their vehicle will sound like before I start work. Thank you!

They all sound great. I have a 13 GT that’s full bolt on. It’s amazing what that coyote sounds like with some long tubes and an xpipe! Then Roush axle backs. It screams
For those options, the MBRP or the borlas imo. At least the sound is tuned in some fashion, not just stupid loud. I will check out the AWE system.
AWE is 👌🏼 quality product, American made, sounds fantastic.

@@Rick-gk3ro go with solo performance! About $1000 shipped for a cat back system. 3” stainless. Great deep tone too. I love mine. Not too loud for a daily driver. If you do like louder, get their street race version. Absolutely the best bang for your buck💯
I totally agree. I have Solo Performance on mine and absolutely love it! Nice deep and refined tone. Not too loud at normal driving rpm’s.
My uncles mustang is a 2018 with an mbrp kit but with the h pipe replaced with an x pipe and catless mid pipe and long tubes and it's ridiculously loud and raspy could definitely use a tone down

I have Solo Performance cat back on my 2011 GT. Absolutely love it! Great deep and refined tone. Not too loud until you get about 3-4k rpm’s. If you like loud, get their street race system

@@user-oc6bs1tp6p if you have the performance exhaust with valves I would do a resonator delete and some headers and keep the valves so when you get tired of the loudness which you will eventually you can just switch it to quiet or normal and track for maximum loudness
You should check out MRT's Interceptor system. One of the best sounding systems for the Coyote. Nice deep sound without being raspy.

That last one sounded like its stuck in quick mode what a waste. The one with the straight pipe really gave up his active valves to the shop LMAO.
I don't get it why you would remove active exhaust such a nice feature I actually made sure that was on the car before I bought it take off the mid muffin put an x-pipe it'll be quite a bit louder
Mine has active exhaust and I'm doing away with it I'm going muffler delete and resonator delete with xpipe

@@elchapo9057 keep the active mufflers, cut the resonator and do headers. Now the cars loud as hell and you still have an extremely useful feature.
@@elchapo9057 rarely does it seem to actually do a lot, the GT500 seems to be one that really stands out in terms of actual effect
On three the tips should switch, the left is on the right and vice versa.

Go Flowmaster Outlaws with X or X paired with Catted Longtubes of any brand. Catless will be louder but will get slightly more raspy-er.. but this is the loudest setup you can go and still maintain that deep muscle
Anything with an H-Pipe keeps any setup deep, but Borla ATAKs, Flowmaster Outlaws and AWE Touring prob best "Deep" and "Loud" catback with a X-Pipe.
Anything with an H-Pipe wins, especially if it's louder...

The first mustang shows it has 87 miles to empty, however the gauge shows he has a half tank left.
It doesn't get 30mpg like your typical grocery getter

I get about 110-130 with a half tank in mine

That MBRP was a Cat back not an axel back… plus never rev the engine immediately after start up, but that MBRP had a nice deep sound and clean install, and lmao track mode normal mode doesn’t make any difference on the 2nd car it had no mufflers no active exhaust,,,
The RS tailpipes on the borla mustang (#2) is pretty weird but I like it
I have muffler delete and X pipe all I have left is cats and it is loud. The hell with paying $2000 for an exhaust system that's nuts I paid $350 for a muffler delete kit with nice polished tips
Because they actually sounds good. Coyotes already sound harsh. Worst of the big three muscle segment. Straight pipes and muffler deletes make them sound like absolute 🐩 💩
You get actual performance gains with a quality system, not to mention it doesn't sound terrible.

Straight pipe is resonator delete and muffler delete, muffler delete is only the mufflers

their is no way thw second blue car could change the exhuast note. Reason why is becuase their is no active exhuast on thw muffler delete. No wiring to the tips. So what you hear is how it will always sound
