I thought you couldn’t donate to locks of love if your hair was processed in any way relaxers, perms, etc....
For all that built up box dye it is so so so impressive that they got it that light at the ends and still have depth and movement in the color. Her hair looks pretty healthy considering how many processes there were

you can forget if it's been over a year and the color only lasted two weeks. they bleached me and my hair was basically pink even though it no longer showed up with my natural color. hair dye is funny like that. I feel like stylists should just expect that may happen as I feel like it's a common thing.

The only way to make wigs free it's through sponsorship like Pantene did. You can't expect people from admin to the hair sorters and the skilled and technical wig makers to give their free time (hundreds of hours a year) and gifts for free! I'm it's still heavily subsidized with people's money donations. Don't forget these people have to put bread on the table and provide a roof over their head too 🙄
i agree, but people should try to go to nonprofits and companies shouldn't lie about it or be shady
@@aguyfromnewzealand3392 I mean you can if it's a charity. That's kinda the point. They should get funded as a charity.
@@aguyfromnewzealand3392 The thing is that compared to other charities they actually produce a very small amount of wigs, especially if you check it against the amount of hair donated to them. Most of the donated hair ended up being sold. They are also very vague about how much of the donated hair is sold, claiming they don't keep records of that.

But he killed it with his patience to get all artificial color out in three steps💪🏼

I was expecting a bit more blue but it does have a few dimensions to it
Maybe it was that way to cancel out the red? Because if it was more blue it might’ve showed up more purple?
This hair color is stunning! I would love to see this stylist do a mini series of videos on your channel. It would be nice to see how this stylist would use his creativity dying hair natural colors vs fashion colors.

The stylist seems to be a very nice guy. He did dye his client’s hair a lovely shade of teal green. My only issue is with his color scheme on his head. He looks like a hot mess,

I was surprised seeing how much I actually liked those red ends even though it was an actual issue for them. Yellow with pink-ish ends looked so cute somehow even if it wasn't intentional and everyone wanted to get rid of it, lol.

@Oliver Long which doesn't make sense because blue washes out first xD If you dye your hair bright blue it washes out green and if you dye it turquoise it's definitely going to be a green after some time.

Wow she looks stunning , definitely went more teal but I knew she could pull it off, also great hair genetics,he did two bleach’s and a bleached based color remover back to back and it’s still got elasticity and shine (obviously styling and products help but still) so happy for her 💚💚💚

Awww I met Danny Moon when I was 18 (ten years ago) when this man in LA kidnapped me and wanted me to have my hair bleached out. I was able to convince him to let Danny do something more colorful and the whole experience in the salon was so magical. I used to have his number and we were going to hang out but I lost it by the time I escaped and made my way home. It's cool to see him still making hair dreams come true..

I loved this video! I was actually thinking of having a “drastic” hair change. All of my life, I’ve had long hair so I’m thinking of having the same haircut as her (I think it’s called a long bob). I was actually thinking of donating my hair but wasn’t sure to which organization. This video made me confident to go ahead with my decision. Made an appointment for tomorrow to have it done! So exciting! 😆

I’m not crazy about it. It’s fun, don’t get me wrong. The hairstylist is AMAZING and amazing at what he does but for mermaid I wish we did some blue and purple mixed in and not all over one color - it reads as solid green. Looks super healthy though which is awesome, and she loves it. I think it washes her out a little but if she’s happy, that’s great.

I used to have dark black long hair past my shoulders. I wasn’t too sure on doing it at first because it was my first time risking to cut all of it off.
As soon as all my long hair was done, I was surprised and shocked. I loved how my short hair came out when I got it done for the very first time.
I went from dark long hair to short blue hair when I first went to the salon to dye and cut it short for the very short time.
Ever since I was in middle school to now as a junior in high school, I always cut my hair very short and dyed it fancy colors.
