I can relate to this. I had a "Lockdown Moment" and chopped my mermaid hair to a bob this length. I finally took the plunge and bleached it all and started living my My Little Pony dreams. ❤
My hair is back to mermaid length, but it is RAINBOW and considerably healthy and smoothy smooth ❤

That was my experience when I “chopped” my hair too. Was so attached to my long hair, finally chopped half the length off, and recently I also finally got layers and highlights and sometime soon I’ll dye the highlights purple! The fear and obsession is gone and now I can finally experiment with it.

Yeah, but a lot of us who have really long hair have started bleaching and dying it crazy colours, and we often go back because 1: there's much less upkeep, and 2 damaged hair is hard to take care of and feels awful, and usually has to be styled to look right. I just hope she doesn't overdo it and learn the hard way that hair doesn't grow back quickly. Hair only grows about 6 inches a year, so if you have hair to your butt, that's probably 5 years of growth or more. But I will say, there's no better time to experiment with your hair than when it's already short, because you might actually be able to get it back to looking reasonable within a decent time frame if you severely mess it up

This colour (and cut) is fabulous! It's not "brown" -- It's dark blonde -- and it suits you perfectly! You look fabulous! Long and bleached blonde is so generic, so any girl at the mall. Yours is always a more subtle and beautiful colour than that, but this takes it up a notch. This so much more sophisticated, but not in a boring way. You just look like a star now - red carpet or runway ready. LOVE it!
This looks wonderful on you Mia! It really isn't brunette though, just a darker blonde. My hair is basically this same color, and I told my hair dresser I wanted to be blonde, and your color is what I got. Happy for you. Oh, what is that fabulous lip color? What lips stick/lip gloss are you wearing? It is the perfect pink!!!!!!

Mia is literally Rapunzel after Eugene cut her hair really short and she went from blonde to brunette 😭😍 it really suits you girl. As someone who is a follower from the long hair days. This is so refreshing 😍 your hair is always beautiful and you are my inspiration to change something about my long black hair too 😂

This cut and color are definitely your best. It's just such a fresh look from the million worn out long beachy blond. It has edge and dimension with the highlights and lowlights, it brings out your face and head frame with the layers and goes well with your skin tone and eye color. Simply a serve.
Oh wow Brad did an absolutely incredible job, he was truly made to work with hair. I honestly think you could rock so many looks Mia but not just anyone could rock this and you are seriously serving it girl!

I think I like the straightened hair the best out of the crimped, straightened, and waved options. That’s like the “I’m not taking attitude from anyone today I’m only giving it so get out of my way” cut /style. Very badazz and very beautiful!!! Love it!!! I’ve honestly liked EVERY way you’ve done your hair tho….. even diggin the pink kid haircut like how friggin cute!!?!?!?! Fabulous work…. Very well done. I absolutely love how Brad is A REAL PERSON and is working with a real person and not with an image of a UA-cam mechanic celebrity who doesn’t care about the colour fading away and the fact that you could actually be so tight on schedule that you have no time “refreshing” it all the time. Both the color and cut suit you so well, they elevate you. The color goes with your skin tone and does make your eyes pop, and the length emphasizes your beautiful features. He did a really good job.
I disagree, it’s very flat and has no volume. The length is very awkward. The hair color suits her, the haircut is super weird.

I love it. It’s subtle, but it’s perfect. Her style before really really suited her but this is a better transition than what she had before. I appreciate that he chose something that would age better than something that is fun and people won’t keep up with.

I don't really think the haircut and colour makes her look mature, on the contrary. I think it makes her look youthful and fresh, it enhances her eyes and makes them appear bigger.

I've had long hair (like Mia's) my whole life, until one day in my early twenties, I got it cut shoulder length. I liked it for about a week, then I hated it😅. So I grew it back out, and I've had long hair ever since. For some reason, I felt unattractive and boy-ish with short hair. I love short hair.. just not on me. 😊

The color absolutely makes your eyes POP! Comparing the before to after.....in the before your hair was dragging your face down a bit and the new cut chisels your face beautifully! Definitely the few people that can carry this type of cut

I love it straight on you and the color is absolutely fantastic it really does look better with your eyes and skin tone. I think you could also get away with sum more face framing highlights but it now looks so incredibly healthy lol makes me wanna cut my hair short again lol. I also have to say that I think the length is a lil too short for your face shape but that may be because of the way you styled it like you said, either way I think it's a very cute look on you and your gonna have so much fun with all the different styles you can do that will litterally take less time to achieve. I always saw people saying that long face shapes don't fit really short hair, my face shape is similar to Mia's so I never adventured to go shorter. But this cut made a beautiful frame and balance to your face, it's very 90's futuristic style, modern and suits your fashion style balancing the grandma core w/ a cute and fresh aesthetic. The color did a lot to your skin tone and eyes as well.
I don’t think he needed to go this short in order to frame her face though. That, idk what people call it? Like pixey? Very layered look would’ve been cute :( especially since her hair is so thick. I think it’s still a bit flat on her face. Grrr would’ve loved some micro bangs too

the color is absolutely stunning and exactly what I hoped he would do for you!! I kept thinking the whole time that you really needed a cool tone hair color to match the coolness of your skin and how black would be too harsh to fully complement your appearance (tho I'm sure you still could've rocked it!), so I'm in love w how it turned out hehe. I would've personally left an inch or two on the length, but it's always fun to try a shorter hair! and like you said, hair grows back, so it's nbd haha
Brad is a true artist who thinks about skin tone, life style, and even how the hair will wear over time. I love the the gave you a change that suits you so well, rather than opting for a shock factor change that didn’t honor your features. The short straight hair is my favorite!
I agree the color compliments your features so much more than the warm toned blonde. As he said you are more cool toned. The length I would've left an extra inch or two but other than that I love it! It fits you so well not just look wise but it fits your personality so much more.
