Just wanted to say your videos have helped me on my own EL install. The trans mount L bracket was touching the midpipe's metal hanger until your video showed the L bracket is supposed to be on the opposite end. Will go under my car again and get that mount flipped. Thank you!
@@BMWDIYGuy There are countries where, unfortunately, you have no sound at all thanks to the opf filter. That's why it would be a great advantage to have such a great part. But I already know that I will keep all the original parts that I have updated.
The transmission bolt earlier in the video you said 24 nm like twice then towards the end said 28nm. Do you know which one is correct as I’ll be doing this at the end of the week thanks for the informative video
@@hellohunter8583 you can take it down entirely like the M2C or cut in place. If you have an M3 or M4 the directions are different. Which car do you have?
@@hellohunter8583 Just making sure, wouldn't want you to measure wrong. You CAN cut in place if you wish, I have done both (cut n place on the F80) and find removing fully is actually easier in the long run. My cuts were cleaner and easier and I could triple check my hose clamp line marks to make sure they were straight.
@@AbletonLiveTechs so resonated will take a little of the volume out, and a little of the higher exhaust notes. I have sound videos up for direct comparison. In general I prefer the resonated AB pipes.

Really glad it helped!
Hi nice videos! Question, after the mechanical cancellation OPF you have to do a reprogramming to delete the opf in the computer ? Thank you 😊.
The challenge is we don't have the OPF here in the States so didn't have to do that.
Do you need the original part? Or would you sell it?
Lots of folks hang onto the original so you can swap back when/if you sell the car, then sell the upgrade separately.

Sorry about that! The E10s are 28nm.. I have all of the confirmed values listed in the video description always.
@@BMWDIYGuy no worries! So I can’t cut it while it’s in like the M3/4? Or do I have to take the entire exhaust down ?

@@BMWDIYGuy I have the M2C so I can just cut in place ?

does this cause any issues for emmision testing?
Not that I have ever heard of before.
@@BMWDIYGuy Awesome! cheers
@@BMWDIYGuy Also i noticed there are resonated and non resonated any idea which one is preferred or what difference is?
