Hello I just purchased the Resonated EL Midpipe Gen 2 as well as axleback. I saw on their website they mentioned swapping the hangers left to right if double resonated, did you do this?
@@BMWDIYGuy Got it thank you! I am having some fitment issues with the orange bushing torca clamp having a huge gap between the pipe, I will call them to ask for help.
Hi Stefan .After seeing your exhaust upgrade I too installed AA Midpipe & AA Axle back . My only problem is that it’s Droning.😢 Do you have any suggestions to fix this . Thank you 🙏 for your help 👍
@@sambelmonte9797 Hmmm.. I need to find the recommendations from Active on which AB pipes for that setup. DPs will make a huge difference as well (for performance too) if you can get catless. (huge challenge now, thank you EPA you jerks) In the interim, you might want to try resonated ABs.
Wait do you get duplicate resonators I’m confused. Or is it an option to add a second resonator after the midpipe. I was under the impression both fit one after the other was planning on getting resonated equal length.
@@BMWDIYGuy i was confused becuase hey have connecting pipes on their site. but it seems i can just get the midpipe and the rear exhaust and slap them together
@@captainminecraftist so if you buy JUST the exhaust then yes, you cut the existing OEM pipe and connect it together. If you buy either the single channel or EL midpipe, you select either straight or resonated AB pipes.
She’s coming along nicely!!! Good call on uneven muffler spacing.
Thanks man, I really appreciate that!
I see that you are a smart man who dailies an 1st gen x3 as well. ;)
Sharp eyes for the OG X3 hiding in the background.. there is an OG X5 in the garage normally as well.
Yup, really wanted to hear it fire up lol
Just wait.. fully comprehensive video up soon, don't worry

Did those resonators come with the valved muffler, I’m hearing that my AA resonated EQ midpipe won’t mate up to the valved muffler
No.. you can order straight or resonated pipes with the EL midpipe. I had zero issues with the EL or straight mid to my stock valved exhaust as well.

I got you covered coming up.. 8)
Great set up, would you like to sell the resonated connection pipes from the Active midpipe?

I have both resonated ABs and non resonated ABs for testing. I wanted to find the best combination for this car.
