I started a pressure washing company out of Grand Rapids michigan 1.5 years ago. Hit $103,000 in 8 months this year we will hit $500,000 just me and my buddy. House washing a fleet washing and commercial and residential snow plowing. Been an amazing business and we love every single part of it. Although we work 7 days a week. Its fun and rewarding.
Don’t ever expect someone else to care about your business as much as you do. You’re the owner you’re supposed to give it 100% No one else is gonna put as much work in as you. You’re doing a kick ass job man and it’s inspiring. Keep killing it bro
Definitely understand. Just trying to get people to understand in small businesses, well at least mine, there is so much room for growth If you just care a little bit more. My method gives them a sense of ownership. The more you invest, the more you will reap benefits that the owner reaps.

I have an opportunity to purchase a trailer with all pressure washing equipment due to owner medical conditions. It is appealing to make extra money as I am currently employed, but also for my teenage son to do to make himself a good income, then again something so I can retire early. What is a decent figure you can make per month or year starting out
@dennispattarozzi5099 it really depends on how serious you want to take it. If you do it part time, you can still average $500-$1000 a day. It's all about how you sell and present yourself.

I’m sure over time his prices will increase as the market and his networks do to. I rather have more clients and a healthy increasing cash flow then relying on a fewer amount of clients. As a new business I think it’s importing to build healthy especially when your still kind of tailoring your service to the ideal model target. His battle between cost for service and commercial clients is interpersonal. Building his portfolio may lead to more accounts. I think it boils down to what his goals are and how he needs his business to perform within his financial tree. I’m just thinking out loud here 😅
look at some of the guys on PWR, most aren't charging $.15-.20/ sq ft. for commercial flatwork, sounds like the standard is $.07-.11 from what I understand, like buying a gallon of pool essentials for $5.87 vs. whatever you get it at per gallon for bulk
Man if I met this guy 5-6 years ago, we’d have expanded 2x by now, I feel like a ton of small business owners like him are struggling to find the right people to expand, it’s such a bummer when he’s doing everything he can to expand, but you eventually hit a wall, where you need to trust people who more often than no, are not at your same commitment level and will probably end up screwing you over, man I really want to do anything I can to help this guy, he’s got the fire and the passion, he needs reliable people now

We just did 8k on these units in 10 hours. Not bragging, just stating because people misunderstood my pricing structure. We are not the highest but we are far from the lowest in our area.

@@Goonsquad413they say as long as it's not going into any drains, we are fine. 100% of the time, run off is going into the soil unless we are doing a driveway. Even when we do carpet cleaning, we are approved to dump waste water into the soil.
How does this business deal with places restricted by drought conditions? In some places if a drought condition is declared, you can't even water your lawn more than twice a week.
Thumbtack is a ripoff. Used them 2 weeks and had to pay over $200 to bid or speak with prospects. Might as well get sales navigator pay the $100 a month to target locals.
Get it while it's hot. Plan accordingly. Your business will basically shut down during the colder months if you are not offering other services to keep you going. That's why we added on carpet cleaning.

If I had to do it all over again, I still would choose pressure washing first over carpet cleaning. Much better ROI. But that's just me, in my city and state. Things could be totally different where you are. Supply and demand. There weren't many pressure washing companies when I first started. Now, there are a ton.

How do you guys clean old concrete? Like 50 years old my pressure washer does nothing. It's almost like it has a glass finish lol. Had two places like that did absolutely nothing. Maybe some chemicals
He's undercharging by a lot. Maybe it's his area though. 30 to 80 cents a square foot is common in my area with a minimum of 150 to 500 per job. Anything less than that isn't worth the travel and time. I'm shocked he can make profit. I'm curious about the quality of work

He clearly said he had 100-200 5 Star ratings and positive feedback, now just imagine where those ratings are now🚀 The Quality is for sure top tier he probably just down played his prices for the Pockets watchers like you or he simply just want to provide a Quality Service at an affordable price.
Our average ticket is $500. Average means overall. Last week we did a job for 3 grand that took 3 hours. 3-4 jobs a day with 1 crew is $1500-$2000 a day. Why is this so hard to believe. If your phone is ringing, it's literally impossible not to make this much in a day. In the video, you see 4 guys with 2 setups... If the money wasn't coming in, how do you thing I could pay these guys a living wage?? And that wasn't even the whole team. Sometimes you guys just have to use your head and stop trying to debunk everything 🤦🏿♂️ We have 3 grand on the schedule everyday this week and 2 grand on Saturday. That's 17 grand this week with 2 crews. Why is this so hard to believe?? 4-6 jobs a day with 2 crews. It's not hard. Figure out how to get the phone ringing and you will stop doubting what I am saying.

Once you do the math off the square footage price for concrete, and how I actually price the house, you would see that they are not that low.

Sometimes you guys just have to use your head and stop trying to debunk everything 🤦🏿♂️ We have 3 grand on the schedule everyday this week and 2 grand on Saturday. That's 17 grand this week with 2 crews. Why is this so hard to believe?? 4-6 jobs a day with 2 crews. It's not hard. Figure out how to get the phone ringing and you will stop doubting what I am saying.

But it's about how invested you are. An employee does not have the same opportunities. A raise or promotion, but what else is really offered to an employee?
