Compared to the other Contra games where each boss had their unique weapons, most of the bosses here use Burns' machine gun weapon. Only the second boss uses Iron's Bazooka..
Yup. Seems like this terrorist organization somehow came up with oversized people...who had blind spots in where they could shoot. Definitely no Red Falcon here!
As a kid i played what it seemed to be bootleg version of this game where the characters names and portrait where changed: Burns was Rambo (tho looked like a grizzly merc) Smith was Guile (looked a bit like Leon from Resident Evil 2) Iron was Ryu (looked like an angry discount super saiyan) and Beans was Will, who looked like an asian dude. Hella weird when i got to play it on emulator and saw the real names/portraits.
Pretty good game when you're playing it on an emulator that has some overclocking feature so it eliminates all the slowdowns. The game barely runs at normal speed on a real console.
The Contra Force game is really difficult when I play it, because the character's movements are really stiff, unlike other Contras, I can avoid attacks like Metal slug.
@@aayushpal3135 Contra III (The Alien Wars) was years and years later than the first two ones. This game here wasn't even originally intended to have "Contra" in the title, slapped on for convenience.
@@kaams224 they probably just slapped "Contra" on it for convenience/brand recognition. Also, that ending about Fox missing and "someone is behind him"....purposely left vague, suggests that maybe this was another Red Falcon plot all along? (or at least they shoehorned that possibility in)
I like that these bosses look like they inspired metal slug ones, we have the trigger happy second boss that was only missing the "come on boy, you miss me" and the last boss with the same attitude, but the whole gameplay style, and the gunship that shoots at you and tries to fry you with the turbines, too bad these fellows are non-cannon to the Contra Timeline as this game had another name in Japan.

00:44 Boss 02 Submarine Captain
01:57 Boss 03 Gunship

is your thumbnail pic vampire hunter D shadowserg?
Yeah.

Arc Hound (FC)
Only 5 bosses?
Second boss looks like he has no pants when he dies and collapses
3:37 Super Mario Odyssey got real dark here.
The characters seem to have stolen Samus's screw attack as they're immune to projectiles while somersaulting.
Lmfao I agree
Funfact: The base for the Gunship was taken from the Arcade game Devastators (Also from Konami), that has Jet Boss in the 2nd Stage.
It's also the same stage (but mirrored) where you fight the Ninja Twins before getting on the same helicopter in Double Dragon 2 for the NES.
7:19 When Terry Bogard and Iori Yagami were soldiers.
and billy kane too
Mr. Big too.
I remember this game had a trick to do an infinite jump
jump>start>jump>start
I accidentally discovered that too. Haha
good old submarine soldiers, can only shoot to their front.
Yup. Seems like this terrorist organization somehow came up with oversized people...who had blind spots in where they could shoot. Definitely no Red Falcon here!
Bill used to be my favorite character in this game
Huh the good ol days

fun fact: contra force is only contra game has human boss fight
No, hard corps has
Hard Cops has a human and shattered soldier as well.

2:06 el jefe mas dificil
Agradezco que no usará los misiles que tenía en las 2 alas del Jet
just letting you know that you can cheese the second boss by hiding behind one of the pipes in the middle
Xfaa ERA MI FAVORITO DE NIÑO Y QUISIERA VOVERLO A JUGAR
I love how this basically started the Bullet Hell genre.
My game pack had serious defact that whenever I reach to the stage 3, it frozen. Si I ve never played after 2nd stage
Super Contra 6
..?
That would solve all the slowdowns
I didn't knew that we can Dodge bullets while jumping
I still don't understand the story of this game. The script from stage 3 confuses me.
Terrorists have an A bomb. You have to recover the weapon before they can use it.
Maybe the most handicapped bosses across all NES. It's been pretty easy but yet so good.
If this game had less slow down it'd be so much better
This game must have some really weird physics... to bombs not hurt you if you are in the air?
All bosses from Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals, please.
Yeah, the game in my list. It's a pretty long, but I hope someday do it. Also on NDS: FF Crystal Chronicles I-II - good action RPGs.
The Contra Force game is really difficult when I play it, because the character's movements are really stiff, unlike other Contras, I can avoid attacks like Metal slug.
Am I the only who hears 'FLAME ON' when the third boss shots the laser or something haha
...
It is slow for a contra game
Where are the aliens?
@@mushroomhead3619 This game was based in the present era, rather than 100 (or was it 200?) years later
@@roy12525 That was actually like 600 years later

Very good
Do the Flips make you invulnerable?
With upgrade - yes.
7:00 gay stage
It's not the same without the aliens
It wasn't supposed to be a Contra game anyway

i have end this game too in my childhood
More like "Contra FARCE" in this case.
Good one. 😆
Well, it was just some generic game with soldiers that they slapped "Contra" on for brand recognition
Kage blade of shadow please mister
Oh really he can block the enemys bullet?
The only thing I didn't like abiut this game is the fact that the character runs really slowwwwwly
can i please know, what the fuck is that second boss?!?!
Meh, the word was once considered more polite than "black".
The love child of Bruce Banner and Gary Busey.
This game makes no sense than the other contra games.
In Japan, the game was called "Arc Hound".
no is contra force this game is arkaond konami put onlie name contra force logo
Shadito Wolf
No, it was supposed to be Arc Hound.
LOL BEANS?!
I play super contra 6 but its better than contra force

В первого босса главное стреляют пулями а умирает типа от удушья 😂
My fv8
