(Some people call it ''Six heads Feromedos'', but it's wrong.) (from Japanse 魂斗羅CONTRA mania with love)
In Hard Corps, is possible to defeat Powered Ninja Murasame before he tears the building down with brownie. You need to detonate the bomb right when he starts spinning, and then hit him immediately and repeatedly with the Chain weapon (C)
Contra - hard Corps with its different pathes and endings is damn good, but Contra 3 - The Alien Wars is a little bit better with graphics, gameplay, sound (Hard Corps also has some really good music tracks of course) and overall atmosphere, my personal favourite Contra game. One of the great nes games of all time contra rules
Hell yea brother. Spread the gospel
Looking for contra return tips, I ended here. What a good old times ✌
You are more than welcomed to come back!
man I have all the contra games too lol this is making me want to go back and play them all!
Contra is one of my favorite IP’s! Anything to make people play it more
Shattered Soldier is so underappreciated.
It took me a loooooooooooong time to warm up to it
เก่งมากครับ ผมนั่งดูไปลุ้นไป สนุกและเพลินดีครับ 🫰🩷😁😁😁
Some Bosses have wrong translated names from JAPANESE ORIGINAL.
Additionally, The name of 26:32 Boss
[フェロメドス六人衆 Feromedosu Rokunin-shuu = The Feromedos (Felomedos) Six, Feromedos Six Men]
isn't introduced. (Some people call it ''Six heads Feromedos'', but it's wrong.)
(from Japanse 魂斗羅CONTRA mania with love)
moving them down with scattershot in seconds is unfair to my childhood frustrations
Yea it do be like that but I feel your pain
In Hard Corps, is possible to defeat Powered Ninja Murasame before he tears the building down with brownie. You need to detonate the bomb right when he starts spinning, and then hit him immediately and repeatedly with the Chain weapon (C)
Ooouuu that sounds like some cool tech! I wish I knew that before I recorded the fight
After coming back watching it again I notice they sure love putting 'DEFENSE WALLS' always in the games XD
It should be the Contra mascot
black viper assembling its giant body from the bodies of the killed humans was a little scary
Favorite contras are Contra Hardcorp, Super C, Shattered Soldier, and Contra 4.
Oh hell, when I was kid I wasn't ever fast enough to try Fang B to D conversion that way (I always paused to give myself more time)
Theirs a certain rhythm to it. when I lost my timing it threw the whole fight off
Nice work on them SS :D
Thank you!
"Lets attack aggressively" LOL😂
They say that line in the new Contra, Love that it's a meme that the devs enjoy
Some of these were nightmare fuel.
I wonder what is that move you use in hardcorps because I played it before and I didn’t see the bosses dropping this fast
It’s an exploit to remove the charge on Fangs weapon. Does crazy damage
@ so do you have to switch the the weapon starting with the fist to do it?
@ yes, it will skip the charging phase
@ ok thank I’ll use this on my next playthrough of hardcorps
40:11 lol 😂
Contra was always good with the freaky looking bosses.
Awesome 👌 FREAKING gameplay so much tricks you pull off these ( MASTERS ) or ( BOSSES ) you beat them with the greatest of ease 😊🎉
Thank you very much! These took awhile to get through. I'm glad you enjoyed them
@@MegaYoYo I'm subscribing now
Contra is a very fun game but the bosses are nightmare fuel.
Too spooky for me as a child
I enjoyed playing it with my dad & brother though.
Contra 4 had some of the best bosses in the series, the again, wayfoward loved to use both DS screens for their games like Thor also
Wayforward knocked or out of the park with 4. Still love going back for a casual run
Or Contra: Opeartion Galuga
35:23 He Doesn't Destroy The Giant Alien Praying Mantis's Tail.
Interesting! ... So this serious never improved beyond the SNES Super Contra III classic, apparently.
It's classic formula that they nailed down. They've refined it
Masterpiece ever.
Contra - hard Corps with its different pathes and endings is damn good, but Contra 3 - The Alien Wars is a little bit better with graphics, gameplay, sound (Hard Corps also has some really good music tracks of course) and overall atmosphere, my personal favourite Contra game. It's also an older game on an more advanced system - and Hard Corps is the opposite, a newer game on an older system. The result is like equal, Konami did a very great job with both of these great games!
I agree with you man. I'm biased towards Contra III because that's what I grew up with but recently putting time into Hard Corps made me appreicate it more as an adult versus a kid.
Nah Hard Corps' gameplay is better and the game as a whole is better as a result.
@@conorneligan7694 this is your opinion but not mine.
@@conorneligan7694 I can kind of dig this. I like your love for the game but I personally like 3 better.
@@MegaYoYo fair enough. 3 is a great game too.
Awesome
I wonder how much foresight could the aliens have by naming their lieutenant "Missile Hugger 3000".
Not the smartest name. Even for an alien
So it's not just my imagination that the final Contra III boss has insane HP.
That thing takes forever on hard mode!
Honestly though, it's the most fun boss IMO. I like how you have to stand in the middle and required to be a sharp shooter. The crowd management alone can be tough.
Still hard to believe that Contra 3 last boss used the form of the boss from Super C in the final rush.
@@sinfulkivisian20 It ties it all together, which I like. You've got the Java, his Super C form, and then finally the true essence of Gava, Searle. It's a neat little call back, done in a way that actually mixes up the fight. Instead of it being just another overhead section rehashed, you get to fight him from a different perspective.
One of the many reasons 3 has always been my favorite, is that it neatly ties together the series, while also being, at least originally, the final chapter of Contra.
Even if they didn't make any more after 3, I would have been satisfied, as nothing comes close to it.
@@AltairEgo1 you are very right to say that. Contra 3 is still to this day a classic. It was one of the 2 games my brother and i owned when we got our first SNES. The 2nd game we had was TMNT 4:Turtles in Time. I actually made an attempt a few years ago to try and beat it on hard mode by myself after some trials and errors...and i finally beat it
I always used to play as browney in hard corps his weaponry is the strongest also his tiny enough so you dont have too duck so often
Browny is strong. His electric yoyo takes down a majority of the enemy cast easily
Dude I completely forgot the name of this game until I found this video
You ever thought about including the arcade versions of the first two games? You know, since they're the ones that came before the NES/Famicom versions
Oh yea! I got the footage ready but I set up a poll and people weren’t interested. Thought about using the footage for something else
I used to play Hard Corps with my dad growing up. That and Outlander on the Genesis.
I hope you love those memories and felt that while watching this video
100% dude. No doubt! Never knew the "wave weapon" for the wolf character was so good.
@@17gtpdestroyer Yea, the technique I use bypasses the charging time which is why it's so devestating.
Favorite boss gotta be the big terminator in contra 4 the boss theme is such a banger
Big Fuzz is Contra's mascot according to Konami
Next level T-bagging
They had it coming
0:22 That's the alarm sound from Moero!! Twinbee/Stinger.
Why does the player constantly cycle through all of their weapons during the Hard Corps boss rush?
If you do this with fang it’s removed the charge time for his strongest weapon
Man I loved contra 3 but damn did that 3rd level hurt. Especially wall walker.
When I tried speedrunning the game those snipers would end my run so fast.
