Amazing! Thank you so much for the feedback, you just made my day and I'm so proud.. you made me and your whole family and happy and proud, thank you💕 and much love ❤️ ❤️
@@bingsoobinn I don’t think you know what you’re talking about in regards to tempering. You can literally temper any chocolate bar. So yes she can just use a chocolate bar
Hi! it is much easier to fill the molds with cake first, chill, and then remove the cake pops and then dip them in chocolate. The method in this video was very time consuming! hope this helps you save some time! :)
This method doesn’t give a smooth finish to the outside of the cake. Also because you have to put the cakesickle down to allow the chocolate to set the chocolate tends to drip down to the bottom and for a “ring” around the cakesickle.
A tip when filling with the chocolate. Fill with the melted chocolate, make sure there is a good amount of chocolate covering the whole thing. Flip it upside down over a rack and let it drip. When it stops then scrape the top with the scraper to get a smooth edge. The chocolate be even all over. Also add slightly less filling so there is a very small gap to the top. Add the chocolate an give it a little shake. The chocolates will be smooth and even on the back as well.
Thank you for taking the time to share the recipe. You are so welcome spoken and calm! My husband loves cake, but with just the two of us, it’s hard to eat an entire cake before it gets stale. And, he doesn’t like the over sweetness of regular cake pops. This has the potential to work well to have only a couple servings each by using a small cake. Again, thank you!
You could probably make cake pops in the mold without the chocolate, freeze them for a few mins to harden up then take them out of the molds and let them come to room temp before dipping them in melted chocolate.
You are right it's easier to dip them in the chocolate that's how I used to do it before, but I prefer this method because they come out much better looking and neater, the chocolate is shiny and makes a perfect shell. When you dip them, the chocolate must have the perfect temperature to make a layer that's not too thin neither too thick, and you have to hold it in your hand for some time until it drips so it's a bit more time consuming.. if you are going to be covering them with many decorations and garnish anyway, you can dip them and they will still come out perfect. If you choose to dip them in the chocolate, make sure to do it while they are still frozen or at least very cold so the chocolate sets immediately, don't wait till they are in room temperature 😘💕
I feel like it would be easier to melt chocolate into a tall cup. Put just the cake batter in the molding. Then put the stick in and pull out the cakesickle. Then at the end, dip the cakesickle in the cup of chocolate and let sit. A lot easier, efficient, and less messy! Can’t wait to try this!!!
Wow...Great tutorial, thanks for posting. I was wondering how people make these and sell them all over Instagram. Now I can see its quite hard work. But I am going to make these thanks to you! Thanks again for a great video.
It looks like if you maybe put a tiiiiny bit less cake in the mold the back would’ve been perfect too. They look awesome nonetheless thank you soooo much for taking the time to teach us ❤️😍 they’re beautiful
Hello, I wana ask plzz reply to.. I made cakesicales as per your video.. once the melterd cho are frozen I started to fill the cake mixture..... The frozen cho outter layer craks.... so... not good, how to fix tht??
That looks so soft, so delicate and of crs delicious... Sure m going to try it vry soon..... My next target is get those icecream case in which u froze them
The silicon molds you get from amazon ebay or if not in hurry from aliexpress! They are totally worth it for cakesicles and delicious ice creams for summer. Thank you for your lovely comment ❤
Hello, Thank you for a very useful video. I am not a great fan of the candy melts. Would using normal white chocolate break when i coat them and if i coat the silicone mould instead? Thank you.
Sorry for the late reply, yes totally you can use any kind of cake you prefer or have available and you could also use any kind of frosting you like, just start by adding the frosting gradually until you have a nice consistency that holds together, you could even add your favorite flavoring to the muffins along with the frosting.. I hope this helps, sorry for the late reply again 😘❤
Hello 💕 you can simply place them in an air tight container or wrap them well with plastic foil or in a zipper bag and freeze them just as they are. Make sure to first freeze them separate until they are solid, then you can pack them together, this way the shape and deco will stay intact. They also thaw quiet fast, so you can take them a couple hours or just one hour before you need them and they will be ready! You van also keep them in the fridge for few days if you don't want to freeze them and they stay perfect! You can freeze them for up to 3 months without a problem! I hope this helps 😘💕💕
I use backing chocolate or couverture, you can use whatever you prefer just make sure that it has at least 30% cocoa butter and to melt it slowly.. I hope this helps and sorry for the late reply! ❤
What leads to molding in these cakesicles or cake pops ? These days starbucks have started selling moldy cakepops. (beyond their shelf life) . How long can you keep them (Store them) ?
as long as it takes for it to set and hold shape and this depends heavily on the kind of cake and frosting you are using, I'd say 15 to 20 minutes are generally enough.. sorry for the late reply ❤
I tried these tonight and I totally messed them up in every way possible. 🥴 My cake was doughy even though I didn’t use a lot of icing, the top part of the popsicles were not smooth, my sticks were not stable. I just threw them away. I have the keep practicing. I’ve seen people dip the popsicles in the chocolate but then the weight of the chocolate makes them fall apart. I tried. Maybe I’ll give it another shot. 😂
@FlamingYoungho I found some on amazon prime today. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0089JFT1Y/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1 They are about the size of mini magnums.

Do you need to dip the stick in chocolate? Or does it not pull out when you dip it? Sometimes it does if you don't dip the stick first

😍😍😍
This method is muchh better because they look neater and you need way less chicolate than when you dip them

I was going to say the same thing
Trust me, don't do this. It is a disaster. I lost half of my cakepops to melted chocolate. Put it in the mold
I was thinking the same thing, ahe makes it more complicated
This is the better way to go actually. You'd save so much time!
