With time, I hope you give yourself this love and acceptance that you have given another. Take care. I’m rooting for you:)

If you don’t socialize you will eventually feel lonely and sad. I spent 4 years in hs focusing on starting and growing my freelance filmmaking business which I did! But towards the end of my senior year, I felt sad because I didn’t have any real friends outside of school, didn’t have any “teenage” experiences. All I did was stay in my room editing and the occasional shoots that forced me to leave my house. I know it might seem hard to find someone that connects well with you but you have to force yourself to make friends. Nobody loses money if you earn money. My God. This mentality has to change. He's not stealing from anyone. He's literally earning it. Legally. Ethically.
Yeah, the notion that there's a finite amount of wealth for all eternity that just gets redistributed falls flat on its face once you start thinking about what just about any company (besides those who make weapons) does which is creating value. Somehow some people just don't think that far.
'stealing' is a misleading word, given the transaction is consensual between the two parties, buyer and seller. If one disagrees, it won't be executed.
No need to be negative here guys. The dude makes money on peoples mistakes, that's why it can be considered a morally grey area. He's not providing anything to the world (except for employing people) for the money that he makes - that's why it's ethically debatable. The transactions are consensual - that's why he's doing it legally. In other words: the wealth on the world is not finite, it's ever-expanding, people like the guy from the video are just not contributing to this expansion proportionally to the wealth they extract. They are playing by the book though, so you can't really blame them. If you want, blame the law and the economic system and try to change it.
Yeah, it seems that way. You need some form of a social circle around you to feel the gap. Or maybe he's just a reserved person and doesn't like to talk about his personal life.
Bruh everyone was trying to villainize the poor guy. You can't say he's robbing others of wealth, since economically how it works is that people willingly spent their money on a product. With stocks, you're buying part of a company. As it goes up in value, you sell it back to the company. Then someone else buys it, etc etc You shouldn't use an analogy as though he's robbing wealth from others. Wealth definitely has a lot to do with luck, but there's also a lot of skill involved. And you shouldn't discredit them or think they're against the lower class because they happened to utilize that skill and get lucky. Because if you do, is he really the bad one by that point?

Antonio Catala I respect that you admit you’d do the same thing as would everyone but some people in these comments say otherwise, there are a ton of reasons why someone would work till they become a multi millionaire, they might want to afford the things in life that they want to do no matter how expensive because it’s their money, they might want to leave a mark (think of Elon musk with spaceX), they might just want to know that no matter what happens to them in life they’ll be insured and get to live comfortably, but most importantly to give to the people they love, wouldn’t you want the best life for your family members or friends, and there’s no such thing as too much money, you might not get to use it in your lifetime but your family will or the people you donate to will. There are many other reasons but I’m not an expert so these are just some

It's also an inherently misleading question when dealing with trading stocks. Just because you bought or sold stock at a profit doesn't mean the person you sold/bought from lost out. That person could also be making a profit from the transaction. And it takes two-to-tango, if you put in a buy order someone has to sell it to you. If there is no other person selling to you, then the market maker sells to you. If the market maker loses money on the transaction, it's not a big deal because it's their legal obligation to full the order. Market makers receive rebates from exchanges to provide liquidity.
kigas24 Exactly. As a stock trader you aren’t winning because others are losing. You when you can read the market. You betting something will fail or succeed is all about looking at trends. The problem with financial success , in this case, being a millionaire or a multimillionaire, hard work is not gonna get you there. If hard work alone is enough to get you to financial success, I'm pretty sure everyone would be a millionaire by now. But the fact is, very few people are, is because you have to be smart with some luck , and not just working hard.
Alex Ong Its a combination of everything you said plus not being scared of stepping out of your comfort zone. A lot people put in hard work but are afraid of stepping out of their comfort zone to take calculated risks. Example, a nurse or a factory worker definitely puts in hard work but they stay in that comfort zone, that provides them with high job security and other social benefits. On the other hand this guy is taking calculated risk everyday and he has no job security and he is putting everything on the line everyday. Hope you understand now. It’s more than hard work, it’s being smart and efficient in the way you work while minimizing risk. That what’s separate most millionaires from the average person.
I totally agree man. He sounded so entitled. But people in our society think that “working hard” is all you need. There’s working hard AND working smart. It’s creating value in your work that you can sell it to the market. Nobody cares that you worked 10 hours flipping burgers because that is a low skilled job with little value.

Some of these people were so snooty to him, sitting on their high horses. The guy obviously worked his butt off for his success. I bet one of the reasons was that he wasn't busy harboring illusions of moral superiority.
Dude in the black jacket is annoying. Millionaires who earned their money are NOT obligated to give back if they don’t want to. They worked for their money, so you can’t tell them how to spend it. Plus, who’s to say he doesn’t help people? Just cuz we don’t see it don’t mean they ain’t doing it 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
I disagree, wealth hording has caused enormous issues in society. Many multi millionaires also have the resources to be able to avoid tax obligations etc. 5 million is not a lot in the grand scheme of millionaires but anyone with hundreds of millions and above are causing further separation of classes in today's economy, which right now we definitely don't need any more of.
Deshawn K. Most rich people had rich parents, so they were raised to be rich. While most poor/middle class people will remain in the same economic situation even if they work just as hard. They will remain poor/middle class because they’ve had less privileges than the ones at the top of the economic pyramid. You can’t expect the same income from someone who’s parents could afford a great university, than from the kid who grew up in a poor neighborhood with some trashy education. Yes, there are a few people who went from the bottom to the top, but they’re a really tiny minority. And so on, just because we all deserve the same opportunities, rich people should contribute more. If they don’t they’re selfish. And before you accuse me of being jealous of their luck, let me tell you I’m rich myself, not a millionaire, but way above average. The difference here is that we don’t spend that money on cars and houses. We spend it on donations. And we do it because we try to help those who weren’t lucky enough to be born in a privileged family.
Also, the question he posed about "If one person owns a million dollars then 20 others lost money." Like no that's not it works, those 20 people more than likely exchanged their money for goods or services, they didn't lose any value in the trade.
He works at jubliee, many of questions he asks in videos are to be a sort of devils advocate, to voice questions that some people may think but not say aloud.
Everything he's saying about his life and how he became a millionaire, and how his emotional drive helped me reach it was good and all- But how do you become a millionaire for real, though?
He did stocks, as it said in the video. He studied for 10 hours a day 365 days a year before getting into stocks. Be on top of the stock game and you'll be a millionaire. But as he said, not everyone can be a millionaire, so it's not gonna work for everyone. In that case follow Life advice instead of financial advice, be happy and always find the best in a situation.
There is no secret formula, lol. Fact is, even if you work your hardest, there is no guarantee you will even come close. Becoming a millionaire takes a lot of hard work, knowledge, guts, and unfortunately, luck. No matter how hard you study stocks, if you can’t quickly determine the flow of a market you will never become a successful day trader. No matter how hard you grind, if you aren’t charismatic enough you can never become a great salesman. No matter how smart you are, if you can’t come up with an idea that people will pay money for you can never become an influential entrepreneur. Fact of life is, there is so much more to achieving a goal than simple hard work. Its about finding where your strengths and passions align, and chasing after it. Thats all you can do. Millionaires are gutsy because they often through away their social life just for the chance to strike it rich. For every millionaire, there are thousands of others who came up short, losing a significant chunk of time. Thats just how it goes
"If you made 2 million dollars it might be fair to say that 20 people lost 100 thousand dollars" does this guy think people are stealing from him when he purchases something?
To be fair, Steven Dux makes money through stocks, meaning someone has to buy the stock from him when he's selling, so when the stock loses money when many people are selling and some unfortunate people are buying when the price is going down, they're losing money. It's just demand and supply though, not stealing.

Wow, some people are just jealous of his success. Are there really people who think that you should give away your self-earned money? Is that what they do?
No but here is some food for thought. If the 5 most richest people in the world (not the forbes list) were to give up their entire wealth, there would be no poverty on the planet. There are many people who are billionaires. We do live in an unjust society. Most people work way harder (physically and mentally) just to make ends meet than the millionaires who have it figured out. But you are right. The rich shouldn't have to give up some their wealth. But if they did...
Depends if this person goes on to make say 50M more dollars well there are so many poor people suffering I think he is obligated to help. If I won the lottery for example I would give away nearly all of it in efforts to improve society
No but billionaires don’t need that asinine amount of money. They could put 100,000 people through medical school and still have hundreds of millions of dollars
This guy is brilliant, he said absolutely nothing wrong. When you live in a capitalistic society, its everyone for themselves, those who dedicate themselves to the level he has reap all the benefits of financial success. People as him should not feel guilty for their disproportionate earnings compared to the average person. He is just a player in this big game and he simply knew how to play the game, something people dont take the time to learn and apply themselves and look for a reason to guilt tripping them. Anyone can be rich, the problem is that not everyone has the innate ability to be rich by going through the sacrifices that comes with it.
so many people have the 9 to 5 mentality, like ofc youre not going to become rich if your goal is just to get through the week and spend evenings watching netflix
watching netflix and going on youtube to hate on others success*. 9 to 5 is a good start. Save your money. The rest is up to you. I feel like a lot of people will say "but I need to spend this money on x y and z". Well then change your circumstances where you can save that money.

I think I can officially say “I love” this video. The point I think everyone glosses over or does not pay as much attention to is the professional athlete reference he made. I think this goes for any industry if you want to the best you will have to sacrifice a lot in order to be on the highest level. This means sacrificing your relationships like he talked about and when you go into them. Ask yourself “why you are doing it?” and “who you want to be on the other end?” So I pray that he is not beating himself up for not having a girlfriend but searching for true happiness with his life as he has a long life ahead of him!

Even if not from your school, make friends online to which you invite them to hang out!

You shouldn't use an analogy as though he's robbing wealth from others. Wealth definitely has a lot to do with luck, but there's also a lot of skill involved. And you shouldn't discredit them or think they're against the lower class because they happened to utilize that skill and get lucky.

Why is everyone kinda passive aggressive about him making money, like if he made Thy money why does he have to give it to you guys? Like it is good to donate to the poor but I don’t know earning money that is rightfully yours, I feel like you shouldn’t be entitled or force to give back. I’m not saying you shouldn’t but he’s just a regularly guy who worked and made money nothing wrong with that.
Because they’re all democrats....me me me me me, I deserve blah blah...salute to this kid for making his own way. American youth would benefit from his self motivation and discipline
Of course no one's entitled to free money from someone who worked hard to earn theirs. But does one person really need that much money? At what point is it just absurd for someone to have so much when so many people are homeless? He's not at fault for the shortcomings of the system, but he sure doesn't mind being a part of it. Why would he? It plays so well in his favor. Not saying I would be any better by the way, but I wouldn't act like I have the high moral ground.

People lose money in stocks because they aren’t as privy to the market shifts, or are just unlucky. Blaming one person who won when you lost is nonsensical

Probably one of the greatest genius day traders under 40. Heard of him 4 years ago.. one in a million prodigy. You either have it or you don't. . Most people are too emotional.
I tried daytrading a couple years ago and it's really hard to control your emotions. As soon as you make your first loss, which is inevitable when you start, you quickly want to make that money back. Love how he talked about that in this vid. I think once you can conquer your emotions you can become successful in anything; as long as you have the drive and motivation.

The dude in the black jacket seems like the type of guy who’s self entitled to others success. The reason why kids and people mine and his age are viewed as lazy. Social responsibility is extremely important, but you can’t expect life to give you everything. Work your ass off to be as successful as you can be and give back as often as possible. Don’t be this guy who expects to gain on everyone else’s success.
I thought the same thing. He was constantly pessimistic and disregarded most of the millionaires advice.
Agreed 100%

Elias Misuri congrats? Nonetheless, you can’t tell someone what to do with their money. 🤷🏽♂️
Everything he's saying about his life and how he became a millionaire, and how his emotional drive helped me reach it was good and all- But how do you become a millionaire for real, though?
JULIANROMIOARCANA provide value
He did stocks, as it said in the video. He studied for 10 hours a day 365 days a year before getting into stocks. Be on top of the stock game and you'll be a millionaire. But as he said, not everyone can be a millionaire, so it's not gonna work for everyone. In that case follow Life advice instead of financial advice, be happy and always find the best in a situation.
Read think and grow rich by napolein hill and you'll understand and be content with his awnser
