As a christian I identify with him so much!
One time I was trying to look for a church and I almost ended up in a cult. As a christian I believe Jesus died for our sins and he gives us eternal life after death if we accept him as our Lord and saviour but the woman in this church were telling me my salvation has a PRICE and that PRICE WAS TO LEAVE MY FIANCE AND GET IN THE CHURCH WITH THEM! I was like girl, wait a second what? the worst thing of it all is that they will back up everything with bible scriptures and this was so damaging to me because I truly considered leaving my now husband to join a CULT and he is right, they will make you do all kinds of things in the name of God! thats so disturbing, but ultimately if you leave the cult you can see the reality of things and be thankful you are out because the comfort this people bring you in a way it's like a drug/prision. You love it, and you cant get out of it because the love they offer is based on fear.

...See the CC at the bottom of the video? Click that. There are captions. Granted they are only in english but that is because they are speaking english and that is what the auto-generating captions can easily do. If you hit the gear and then click subtitles you will see there is an option to "add subtitles" this is where you can put your own translation for other languages in. Note that you have to go segment by segment.
It takes A LOT of time to ass non-auto generated subtitles. Most of the time when you see them on other channels it is either A) a fan took the time to put them in in another language or B) that creator has one or more people write in the subtitles.
More often than not videos will eventually have subtitles in several languages but if you wait to release a video until you have those already written it could extend the production time tenfold.

Like for example islam is a religeon but ISIS is a cult that twisted religeon to meet their ideology and brainwash people.

Education and psychology are also forms of 'thought reform'. Cognitive behavior therapy is a powerful force for mental health, it's certainly a type of thought reform. 7:53 I know this guy only meant well with his comment about him finding "the one true god" but I don't think that was a good time to make that kind of comment. Chris put himself in a very vulnerable position in this video by speaking candidly about some uncomfortable/painful past experiences. While he's in this vulnerable position, the guy brings up his own beliefs and how he'll pray for him and that he's already "on the way"...I'm not saying that this guy's in a cult himself but it seemed eerily similar to the way Chris was describing cult recruitment. Again, I know this guy only meant well (and Chris didn't seem bothered) but maybe having a conversation with someone discussing why they left a religion and that they aren't interested in having one isn't a good time to express hope that they'll one day join YOUR religion.

Abuse, is the difference between being part a of group, or a cult. Unfortunately many times the term cult to tear down any group they don’t agree with. Many call religions cults, or political parties cults, etc. But many groups that do not abuse each other, bring people the ability to cope with difficulties with life which I think is good even if I do not agree. Many cope with drugs and alcohol in essence they worship it. You could say they are part of a cult. They put their trust in “something” that offers them “hope” but causes damage to themselves and their relationships. This guy was being abused, and was abusing others, this is not good and I would call it a cult.

They are cults. Cult doesn't necessarily have to be something negative that we are a part of. In fact, ALL of us are in some form of a cult, and they usually gift us some positive emotion (or else we wouldn't subscribe). But blindly believing in something without even a momentary question is a dangerous precedent to set and it is how people fall into the more negative "ideologies" or "cults"... I think the lesson here is to ALWAYS question what it is that you think you know... Because in truth we KNOW very little and we don't like to admit that 🤔

@@destroyer6945 It's more relevant because JWs are much more numerous. Leah Remini did a special on the JWs and how many people have been hurt. It was very interesting.

It's like this cult was designed to lure in ultra woke people. 😂😂

Can you guys do another ones of these with someone with a different cult? I think hearing the different types of practices done by cults can help a lot of people and be interesting to watch

When u believe in god who taught u to love and wish people to experience what god make in ur life by praying to them not a shitty think cade
The guy heard from him that universe is "LOVE" so he just told him that our god is love and u truly in the right way to meet him

My guy, that is not the time to advertise your religion

    • @markbassem9831

Araceli From Wii sports club its not advertising my religion its just as i said our god is love so you wish the best for everyone by praying and wishing for them to know him cuz he already saved me so we want people to be saved and know him
Word like advertising makes it like we earn something by telling people that

I was never a cult member but I was chosen by some cult to be tortured for, the only reason I can think of, the leaders pleasure and desire to revenge. I hope one day some "scandal" happens and dissolves the group and I hope they forgive themselves as I have forgiven them... I don't hold grudges or resentment against those who just didn't know better. ♥️🙏🏼
Hope you keep speaking up and helping others get out of other cults. 🙌🏼

i am sorry for his situation and i think any group that uses lies and brainwashing to abuse people are predators that should be stopped. Stop lying to children that they are inherently bad and need saving or that they will die in hell tortured for eternity .. the phycological issues embedded from a young age will hunt you for a long time. I lost so much time dealing with self-loathing, depression and a huge FEAR that left me with anxiety issues ...
Question everything no matter how bad it feels!
