That stephen guy is pretty knowledgeable and cool
I would love there to be a situation where the Primal Incarnates are informed that the Elemental Powers they are harnessing are coming from a planet that has the soul of a Titan (or so we're being led to believe atleast.) Them being all anti Titan and learning they are using powers granted to them by a Titan basically would really mess with them I imagine. Well maybe not Iridikron because he has his own motive that I have a feeling has nothing to do with what the other three want/wanted.
I assume Ishura spent hours crafting the perfect Queen Azhara question for the interview, but changed her mind at the last second.
Great job on the interview, we got a nice mix of info about upcoming lore and details on some 10.1.5 systems.
Great interview!
why did kalakrond want to eat all the dragons is my question? just what was his motivation? if he was compelled to by an outside force, why would it want him to do that?
Burger King was closed and Ubereats didn´t exist yet.... hungry dragon is a hungry dragon, after all 🤣
On a more serious note, I seem to recall something about him gaining more and more power the more dragons he ate... I want to say Chronicles, but memory is spotty.... He basically wanted to become "THE" Ubermegadragon, even before his corruption, and the easiest way to go about it as well as make sure nobody could challenge him was to simply eat everyone.
I may be misinformed or remembering something incorrectly, but that´s the story as I remember it. 🍻
I appreciate the interview, but it would've been nice to have had a chance to play through the content on live realms before being hit with a bunch of spoilers on things that only made it onto PTR in the past few weeks, even if they are only mild ones.
Do you mean you would've preferred a spoiler warning for the interview? Or just that they didn't do interviews for something that is technically a spoiler?
@@Ishura I can't say there's anything wrong with the interview (I didn't watch it all yet since I prefer to actually get the story from playing the game first), but sure, a spoiler warning would've been nice. I'll happily watch the interview once I've played the dungeon and seen the content for myself, it just feels strange for a lore channel to be talking about the lore implications of events in content their viewers can't be expected to know of, yet.
@@Silent002 Understood! When I got into more spoilery questions I tried to give a warning, but it wasn't really a /good/ one because I was fumbling 😅.
The whole team pooled questions for this interview, but I was reluctant to ask a lot that would be answered by simply playing through the dungeon itself. It would have felt redundant, or like a waste of questions, hence my trying to dig in a bit deeper about some spoilery things!
@@Ishura You handled the interview better than I would've, don't worry about it! 😄I saved the rest of the video for later and look forward to finishing it off in a few weeks. Thanks for taking the time to get feedback!
\o/ Go go codex crew! Nice interview, ahhh, I'm so excite for this dungeon!
🥺🥺❤
Absolutely amazing interview. Loved you, Ishura.
😊
I really feel for Norzdormu. Imagine seeing the end of your life and knowing the exact time you fall to corruption and killed by loved ones. It has to be a tormented existence. I hope we can free him of this in game. He is one of my fav characters.
Unfortunately, I don´t think that´s in the cards.... Problem isno matter how long we manage to postpone it, in the end he will become Murozond, and we will kill him in the end time dungeon back in Cata.
That´s the one part of his story that´s already set in stone, and to change it would be a ridiculously large retcon, basically invalidating like a third or so of what we´ve done as Champions of Azeroth since TBC... I personally like Nozzi, but I can´t imagine a way to "save" him without destroying much more than just the current timeline.
@@thezerb Yeah sadly part of what makes him turn is knowing when and how he dies, and he eventually turns to the Old Gods to help subvert this inevitability. There may be a way to avoid it, but I imagine it will be very difficult and may cost way more than if he did fall.
Who is the intended audience for this video? This isn't live in the game... Why are there so many spoilers without real warning?
The lack of a spoiler warning is totally on us, but as far as the content of the interview...
We were told we'd be talking about the upcoming megadungeon. The team decided we'd rather go through the dungeon and ask some clarifying questions about what happens (since that may not be information we get otherwise) than asking questions that would be answered simply by playing through the dungeon when it comes out.
@Ishura fair enough, thanks for clarifying. I clicked expecting introduction/hype for upcoming content. I'm a longtime casual player who has never been able to follow the story of WoW despite wanting to, and Dragonflight has really been the best expansion for me in my whole history playing WoW. I'd guess I just wasn't your target audience. 😅 Looking forward to new content regardless!
@@sophblueberry Of course! The Lost Codex is very good at packaging lore in a unique and coherent way, but I think when it came to an interview we wanted to leap at the chance to ask as many specific things as possible. I can totally understand how that would've been confusing, especially if you weren't familiar with the dungeon already (heck, I wanted to do the dungeon before the interview because I was afraid of looking ignorant!)
I was a little selfish with this one but it's good feedback for understanding how to do interviews in the future if I get a chance :) The notes we put together were actually segmented for "before-dungeon" and "post-dungeon" answers but I sort of smushed them all together and that's my bad.
