- My friend Braxton Wirthlin gave me a lathe and showed me how to turn y first bowl. The bowl was turned from a piece of Ambrosia Maple. This video is part of a collaboration with Braxton Wirthlin and Patrick's Workshop. Patrick made an Ice Cream Scoop and Braxton made a Lathe Light. Moy perez woodshop haha ik wha you mean. When i 1st fot my midi i went on a shopping spree and half the tools uve still never used or tried using haha. And ive also learned to make my own blanks vs buying them for that crazy ridiculous prices theyre sold for..sometimes ill buy a nice pen blank but even thatll run like 30$!have a good one bro!
Mo great job on the first bowl it came out great! Real pretty and I like the modification to the IKEA lamp too. Everyone seems to be using those lights and endorse them, so I may have to get one for my lathe.(that I still have not used yet-wish I had someone to teach me.I'll have to take a class I guess) First time watching and subbing too!
